Mornings

Cas's favorite thing about mornings is getting to see Dean. Dean looks so much different when he is asleep. His face isn't creased with worry lines and he doesn't have a frown on his face. He looks peaceful. In the morning Cas goes and makes Dean a cup of coffee and brings it to their room. He then sits on the bed and gently pulls Dean into his lap and runs his fingers through Dean's hair. Usually this wakes Dean up seeing as he is a light sleeper but Cas still presses kisses to Dean's face until he opens his eyes. "Good morning Dean" "Morning Cas" Dean says voice heavy with sleep. Dean would cuddle up next to Cas and slowly drink his coffee. Cas would have his arms wrapped around Dean protectively even though they weren't in any danger.
Dean's favorite thing about the morning is waking up feeling safe, warm and loved. Dean would wake up laying in Cas's lap and Cas would be pressing kisses to his face. Dean smiles but keeps his face buried in Cas's side. Cas would gently lift his face saying how he wants to see his smile. Dean gives Cas a shy smile. Cas would kiss Dean causing his smile to get even bigger. Cas smiles and wraps his arms around Dean pulling him even closer. Dean would lean into Cas's embrace lean up pressing a kiss to Cas's lips. Cas would smile and kiss Dean back. Cas would pull away and hand Dean his cup of coffee. Dean slowly drinks his coffee enjoying Cas's company. Enjoying the feeling of being safe. Not wanting the moment to end The rest of the morning was spent giving lazy kisses while wrapped up in each other not ready to get up. Overall mornings where their favorite time to be with each other.
