I love you too

"I shouldn't be in love with you but I am. I'm completely and hopelessly in love with you and I'm scared. I'm scared that I'm going to lose you " Dean mumbled into Cas' chest. Cas had found Dean earlier in his room silently crying and attempting to drown himself in booze. Once Cas had Dean eat something and knew Dean sobered up he confronted Dean about why he was crying. Dean tried to dodge the question at first but Cas pushed and eventually got an answer. Cas was shocked by the answer but was glad to know it. Cas tightened his arms around Dean trying to give him some sort of comfort. "It's okay Dean" Cas said. "How" Cas didn't understand how one word could bear such emotion, how it could make Dean so broken and vulnerable. Right then Cas' heart broke and right then Cas was done with all stuff they have been put through. "It's okay because I love you too. I'm in love with you and I won't let anything take me away from you and I won't let anything take you away from me. We have been through too much. Too much Dean and we've finally just got each other back. I'm not letting go any time soon." Cas looked down at Dean after his little rant only to be met with a kiss. It wasn't a needy or desperate kiss. It was passionate and loving. When they pulled apart they were both breathless but smiling. Cas loved Dean's smiling and rarely got to see it so when he did he couldn't help but smile back. "I love you Dean"
