Crashing waves on the dock

Dusty sand filling your eyes

Stare at the black clouds
The ship that's sinking

The icy wind is blowing
All our love away with your
Chances of survival
The waves are washing
Your smile away, as well as
Your breezy scent
When I see you sail away
I can't retain my salty tears
Because you're gone
When I see you sink, I ask myself
If waiting for you is still worth
My time, my darling
When I see you emerge, I hope
You swim back to me, defying
The perilous waves
But that was just a painful
Illusion, a distraction of the mind
Shattered in a matter of seconds
Then, why'd you sail away?
I'll dive in the cold water just
To stay with you forever
