Chapter Six: Jumping The Gun

Chapter Six: (Peyton's P.o.v)

I woke up at around nine. Ali usually sleeps in and I wasn't quite sure when Jc, Connor, or Sam woke up, so I didn't expect anyone to be awake. I hopped in the shower before I changed into a 5sos crop top with white shorts. I brushed my teeth and put my usual makeup on. I quickly pulled my hair into a messy bun and walked downstairs into the kitchen. Jc was sitting at the kitchen table behind his laptop.

"Editing a video?" I ask him
"Yeah. I did a video with all six of us guys." He says smiling
"Would you want to collab with me?" I asked cautiously.
"Yeah, can we do the tin can challenge?" He asks excitedly
" That sounds fun. I'll grab my stuff and we can go buy the cans now." I reply. I grab my gray Vans and my purse and we head out the door.

We drove to the nearest supermarket. We each had to but six cans. Three good ones, and three bad ones. When we got to the supermarket, I already knew what cans I wanted. I grabbed a basket and started to look through the aisles to find what I want. When I was done, I got canned tuna, cat food, beets, peaches, corn, and carrots. I messaged Jc that I had all of my cans picked out. We both went to separate registers and checked out.

When we got home we asked Ali and Sam to peel off the labels and out numbers on the cans. It took Ali about twenty minutes to calm down considering she just found out that 3/6 of O2L was at our beach house. After she calmed down, Ali and Sam began to peel and label the tin cans with numbers. After they were done, they all sat around us and watched us film the video. I set up my camera with two blindfolds, spoons, a can opener, a bowl with pieces of paper in it, and the twelve cans. Jc and I got comfortable and I started recording the video.

"Hey guys Peyton here, so I am here today with a VERY special guest, the one and only....JC CAYLEN" I say to the camera
"WHADDUP PEYTONS CHANNEL......JC HERE" he says mimicking his O2L introduction.
"Alright guys. Today we are doing the tin can challenge, but with a twist....we are going to be blindfolded" I say
"Wait what?" Jc asks worried. Did I mention I didn't tell him we were being blindfolded
"Yep. So it's basically The Tin Can Challenge and The What's In My Mouth Challenge combined" I say
"Alright...who goes first?" Jc asks
"Well, you are my guest...so you can go first" I say trying to hide my laughter
"Uhhhh fine." Jc says groaning.

I tie the blindfold around his eyes and I wave my hand in front of his face to make sure he isn't cheating. I hold the bowl up to his hand and he picks a number...3. I search around for tin number 3 until I finally found it. I use the can opener to open up the can...peaches. Damn. I take the spoon and scoop up a peach.

"Open" I tell him. He opens his mouth and I place the peach on his tongue.
"Ummm...pears?" He asks
"No, but close." I inform him
"Oh peaches" he says
"Yep" I say.

He takes off his blindfold and helps me tie mine on. I pick a number from the bowl...12. I hear the can open and Jc laughs. Oh no. I feel a spoon on my lips and I open my mouth so he can feed me whatever is on the spoon. It doesn't taste bad at first, but after I had it in my mouth for awhile, it tasted horrible....beets. After I swallowed the what I think is a beet. I guess what it is.

"Beets?" I ask Jc
"Yeah... I don't know how you ate that. Those things are gross" Jc says making a gagging sound.

After guessing all twelve cans, I lost. I got the cat food and I couldn't swallow it. Jc almost threw up five times. The only good thing he got was peaches and canned apple sauce. My consequence for losing was jumping into the freezing cold pool. I grabbed a towel and walked out to my pool area. I was about to jump in when I pulled Jc into the pool with me. We both floated back to surface and I could not stop laughing. Jc was making this adorable pouty face, so I went up to him and hugged him.

"You're a bully" he pouts
"I'm sorry Jc. Could you forgive me." I sarcastically plead
"Nope. Peasants aren't worthy of my forgiveness." He says
"Not even if this peasant buys you pizza?" I ask
"Okay...fine, but only because there is pizza involved" he says.

We both dry off and head back into the house. I order the pizza and I order Jc his own little pizza he can have to himself. The pizzas should be ready in ten minutes, so Jc, Sam, and Ali volunteer to pick it up. When they leave, I start to edit the video when Connor ask if we can sit in the living room. Connor and I just walk in the living room and he picks out a movie on Netflix. After a long period of silence, I decide to ask Connor some questions and he asks me questions just so we can get to know each other a little better.

We ask questions about one another when Connor suddenly moves closer to me and puts his arm around me...what is he doing? I mean Connor is such a nice guy and I do like him as more than a friend, but I just met him and with my past, I'm not too comfortable with men anymore. I feel a pair of eyes on me and I turn to look at Connor when he crashes his lips onto mine. I pull away and run up to my room and lock the door.

This has happened before and it hadn't ended to well. And the past wasn't going to repeat itself. I felt tears run down my check as I thought about what had happened that night. I hear Connor knocking on my door apologizing and asking to come in. I tried to ignore him. The room started spinning and it was becoming harder and harder to breath by the second. I knew what was happening. Before I faded into darkness I used all of my strength to scream "Help" as loud as I can. It was faint but Connor must have heard me, because
before everything went black I saw him burst through door. Then everything turned black.

Cliffhanger! Sorry I had to. I'm so sorry for not updating yesterday. By the time I connected to the slow wifi from my hotel, and Ali updated it was late and I was exhausted. I had written this last night but it was a very short chapter and Wattpad crashed and it got deleted.Shout out to Ali who gave me this idea when I had writers block.
