Chapter 54: Suprises

(Peyton's P.o.v)

The next day Ali replied. I didn't bother to open it because I knew she hated me. I noticed she unfollowed me on twitter and practically deleted me from her life. And it hurt like hell. I turned on my side to see Matt staring at me. I screamed and fell off of the bed. I heard matts beautiful laugh as he got up to help me.

"I hate you!" I yell at him
"No you don't!' He says back in a funny voice. I burst into a fit of laughter.
"You're right I don't hate you." I say grabbing his hand and pulling him down.

He lands next to me with an oomf and we both laugh like idiots. I get up and start to get ready when my phone buzzes. It's from Connor

Con: Hey I just got onto a plane. See you soon
Me: Okay. See you soon. Thanks again Connor.
Con: Anything for you ;) okay this bitchy flight attendant won't stop nagging me about my phone. See you later.
Me: Bye Con.

I chuckle to myself Bedford I brush my teeth and head downstairs. Matt is on his phone playing some app called 'Let it Goat' he has been playing so often I downloaded it. Both of us cannot put it down! It's just so addicting.

"YAS 57 BEAT THAT FUCKER!" He yells to the screen
"Having fun there?" I ask. He jumps and he locks his phone before looking at me
"Jesus Pey you scared me!" He yells holding his hand over his heart falling to the ground
"Oh no! Now that Matt is dead what will I ever do?" I ask rushing to him
".....kiss.....me" he says pretending to die. I lean in with our lips about to touch when I say
"Nahhh I'm hungry. I'll just get some food." I say getting up
"Heyyyy!" Matt pouts
"Hello!" I imitate his voice pattern
"Peyyyyyy!" He whines
"Matttttttttt!" I imitate him again
"I'm hungry!" He screams
"Hi hungry I'm Peyton, how are you?" I say trying to contain my laughter
"That is not what I meant!" He says laughing
"Fine...how about you order some food. My treat." I say walking towards him
"What do you want?" He asks me
"How about something I haven't tried yet." I suggest
"I KNOW JUST WHAT TO GET!" He screeches.

I chuckle and hand him the phone. He orders the food and we wait for it to arrive. When it finally does, we dig right it. It's absolutely amazing! When we finish I receive another text from Connor.

Con: My plane landed, where can we meet?
Me: Unpack at Zoe's and ask her where the corner shop is. Meet me there in an hour
Con: Okay great, I can't wait to see you :)

I lock my phone and I tell Matt where I'm going. He wanted to come with me, but I wanted to see Connor on my own so I could explain everything. He really wanted to come for some reason, so we agreed on him walking be him me. We left earlier than we were supposed to, so I text Connor that I left. As soon as I step into the shop someone tackles me into a hug.

"Oh my fucking god Peyton I missed you so damn much." A voice that isn't Connor says
"J-Jc?" I say
"I'm so sorry I cheated on you she didn't mean anything to me I swear. God I love you so much." He says not letting go of me
"Jc. Oh my god." I say breaking into sobs
"I'm so sorry Pey." He repeats
"God I missed you." I reply
"Peyton I'm so so so sorry." He says for what seems like the millionth time
"Just shut up and kiss me." I smile.

And soon enough his lips crash onto mine. I immediately kissed back and our lips moved in sync. I grabbed his face to deepen the kiss when someone coughed. Right...we weren't alone. Jc rolls off of me and I notice everyone besides Ali is here. I run into Connors arms and he immediately hugs back.

"I am so so so sorry I brought them. Jc heard us talking and when you broke up with him I knew he had to see you." He apologizes
"Don't be, I needed that." I say referring to the kiss that just happened. We pull away from the hug and soon enough Ricky engulfs me into a hug

"I thought w-we lost y-you." He says in between sobs
"Hey shhh...Ricky I'm okay. Look at me. I'm fine. There's no need to worry." I say holding him tighter.

He just sniffles and nods before letting me go. I greet the other three boys before I look at a crying Matt.

"Matt what's wrong?" I ask walking towards him
"I can't." He cries out
"Can't do what?" I ask him worriedly
"Peyton I work for him...your dad" He says
"WHAT?!" Jc screams in anger running towards him. I hold him back as Matt just closes his eyes and stands there.
"You're defending him?" Jc asks
"No babe, he is upset over it so I want to hear what he has to say." I say grabbing his hand.
"I was sent...to kill you. But I can't do it. Pey I just can't. He's hiding in the bathroom. I have a loaded gun in my hand. He was here the whole time. I just needed a place to k-kill you." He says cringing at the word kill. He pulls out the gun before screaming
"STEVE I GOT HER!"
"Matt wh-" I start
"Just wait" he says through his tears.

My dad emerges from behind a corner with a disgusting smile on his face. Before anything happened I hear a gun shot go off and it hits my dad directly in the heart. He falls to the ground motionless. Within seconds cops emerge and burst through the door.

"Matt no." I whisper
"But wait there's more!'' He says like a tv advertiser
"What?" I ask
"Great job officer Espinosa. You shot the target." One of the officers states
"What the hell?" I ask Matt
"Officer Espinosa. FBI." He says pulling out a badge
"Matt what the hell?" I ask still confused
"I was sent here to find you. When I did I knew you would lead me right to him. When you did. I fake teamed up with him so I could kill him. " he says smiling
"Smartass but OhmygodMatt!" I say running into his arms
"Thank you so freaking much how could I ever relay you." I say crying
"Just don't loose touch with me okay? Everything I said was true." He says in a serious tone
"I would never." I reply hugging him again before going back to Jc. He pulls me into his arms and he whispers

"It's gone. He's dead. You're free Peyton."
