(Peyton's P.o.v)
They both stopped dead in their tracks. Connor came rushing from my room. He had no idea what just happened. I turned to Jc and stared him directly in the eye
"Jc how dare you! I thought you were a nice guy, but I was so wrong. do you have any idea how much pain you put me through?! I have to say you have some balls coming here Jc. You hurt me and then you tried to choke my best friend. Do me a favor Jc and don't you ever come near me again or I will beat the living hell out of you." By this time I am in tears.
Connor walks up behind me and I start crying into his shoulder. He walks me to the couch and rubs my back until I relax
"You alright?" Jc asks
"You're kidding me right?" Con spits
"I was just asking" Jc says
"HOW ABOUT NEXT TIME YOU DONT BREAK HER FUCKING HEART!" Connor screams
"Hey" I say poking him "Im okay...as long as you're here. Ill be okay" I finish. He nods and kisses my head.
I grab his hand and I play with his fingers.
"What are you doing?" he laughs
"I have no idea." I reply quietly
"Hey, wheres that beautiful smile of yours?" He asks
"It left to get me some food" I smile
"There it is." He says sweetly. I turn my attention back to Jc and he is crying.
"Why are you crying?" I ask curiously
"I lost my best friend" He says sadly
"You lost more than one friend Jc" Kian and Ricky say in unison
"Yeah, your out of O2L" Trevor states
"Trev I love you, but thats a little over kill. What Jc did was wrong, but kicking him out of the group is overboard." I say
''You're defending him?" Connor asks
"No, I'm protecting the fandom. We aren't as strong as you guys think" I reply
"Thanks Pey." Jc says
"I told you not to fucking call me that" I spit
"Can I at least talk to you?" he asks
"Yes, but Ali and Con are coming too" i say
"Okay deal" he says smiling
"But later. Im still beyond pissed at you for hurting Ali. Im going upstairs before I do something I will regret later." I say grabbing Connor softly and taking him upstairs.
We went into my room and sat on my bed. I cuddled against his side and soon enough I fell asleep
_______SMALL TIME SKIP______
I walked into the kitchen and Jc was sitting there playing with his thumbs.
"Where is everyone?" I ask him
"They went out. I stayed so we could talk." he says. I go to say something when the doorbell rings. I go up to answer it, and when the door opens my dad is standing in the door way with a gun
"Miss me darling?" he asks
"Not one bit" I snarl
"Peyton? Who's at the door?" Jc asks walking to the door.
"Who's this? Your boy toy?" My dad asks. He raises the gun and Jc moves towards it.
"Peyton, get behind me" Jc says softly
"JC NO!" I yell
"Get behind me" he repeats
"JC!" I scream. And then theres the sound of the gun going off. Jc's lifeless body crumples to the floor.
"JC!" I scream falling to the floor sobbing.
I wake up by Connor shaking me awake.
"Wheres Jc?" I ask immediately
"Outaide the door why were you scr-" I run out into the hall and see Jc standing there worry filled his face. I run into his arms and sob.
"Peyton are you okay?" He asks worriedly
"M-my dad. He shot y-you" I say in between sobs.
"It was just a dream Pey. Im right here. Im okay." Jc says softly while rubbing my back. We stay like that until I calm down. We go into my room with Connor so I can tell him the whole story.
"What happened?" Connor asks
"I had a dream, my father...he came back. Everyone was gone but Jc. My dad, he was going to shoot me for leaving, but Jc jumped in front of the bullet." I explain. Connor walks up to me and holds me.
"Pey, Jc is fine. He's right there. He's okay" He says reassuringly. I nod before I speak
"Can you get Ali in here. I want to talk now." I say.
Connor nods and leaves the room to get Ali. Shortly after, he comes back and Ali is right behind him. Well, here goes nothing
