I can't believe it. I almost killed her. I couldn't control my anger, and she almost died. I just got so jealous of her and Jc. I don't want to lose her, but now I know for sure I did. I've been at the hospital for 5 days straight. I haven't eaten, slept, or even moved from the waiting room. The other won't let me see her. I understand why though. I can't stand not knowing if she is okay or not. They won't tell me anything. For five days straight I haven't heard a word that she is at least alive. I fight back the tears when my phone buzzes. Oh my god...it's her.
Peyton: Is this Connor?
Me: Oh my god Peyton thank god you are okay.
Peyton:What happened? And why aren't they letting you in?
Me: Don't you remember?
Peyton: I lost my memory, I don't even remember who you are or what you look like.
Me: Are you serious?
Peyton: No I'm joking...of course I'm serious
Me: Even when you lose your memory you're still sarcastic as ever.
Peyton: Anyways, Jc and Sam said you had to do with this incident. I want to know what happened.
Me: I want you to remember on your own. Just to help your memory come back.
Peyton: Fine, but I expect a full explanation of why it happened.
Me: Deal, can I please see you now?
Peyton: Now isn't the best time
Me: Why not?
Peyton: I look like death, and everyone especially Jc and Sam. They know what happened but they worn tell me.
Me: I'm sure you look beautiful. And when can I see you?
Peyton: I have a really nice nurse. She said one person could stay after visiting hours. Just come in after every one leaves. Okay?
Me: Okay.
Peyton: We just quoted The Fault In Our Stars
Me: You remember that?
Peyton: Duhhhh. Who could forget it. Besides the preview just came on tv. As soon as I get out of here I'm seeing that movie!
Me: Touché and maybe we could go together?
Peyton: If I have my memory back by then yes, but I want to know what you did before I go anywhere with you.
Me: I understand.
Peyton: Hey I have to go, the nurse is putting in another IV. I will see you after visiting hours.
I smile down at my phone and hit the lock button. I cannot wait until hours are over!

When visiting hours were up, I saw everyone leave the room and walk out of the hospital. I walked up to obey tons nurse and she gave me a nod before opening her door. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. There were tubes everywhere and she was hooked up to so many machines and needles. I felt a tear slip and fall to my cheek when Peyton spoke.
"Hey. Don't cry, I'm fine now." She says softly
"This wouldn't have h-happened if it w-weren't for me." I say crying. She opens her arms and I walk into them.
"Shhh it's okay. I'm alright. Don't beat yourself up. As long as you didn't try to choke me it's okay." She jokes laughing.
All the color drains from my face and I regain my self before letting go. We talk for a couple hours catching up. I help her remember some things, but she started to get frustrated when she didn't remember some small stuff, so I stopped. The nurse cam in and told me that it was two in the morning and that Peyton needed to rest. I hugged her goodbye and left the room. And for the first time in 5 days, I got a peaceful nights rest.
