(Peyton's P.o.v)
I woke up around ten which was really late for me. I jumped into the shower and put on my O2L shirt. I walked into the kitchen and Connor was sitting at the table with two plates full of waffles. I went into the cupboard and grabbed a box of cereal when I felt a hand grab my wrist. I pulled my hand back quickly until I saw who it was.
"Jesus Connor don't do that you scared me!" I yelled
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you, were you going to slap me?" He asks laughing
"Yeah. It's just an instinct. Nothing personal" I say kissing him on the cheek
"Here I made you your favorite" he says pulling out a chair for me to sit down in
"Thanks Con. Why do you have to be so cute?" I ask him
"Is that a bad thing?" He asks worriedly
"No Con. It's a good thing don't worry" I say
"I'm sorry. I'm just afraid I'll lose you" he says quietly
"Con you're not going to lose me. I'm right here and that's where I'm staying" I say getting up from my chair to hug him
After we ate the waffles Connor made, we sat in the living room and watched Connors favorite movie. After awhile, I paused the movie and scooted closer to Connor. He looked at me strange but then he smiled and grabbed the remote and shut the tv off. He took my hand and intertwined our fingers. He put his head on my stomach and I started to okay with his hair. I started to braid it and after I was done, he looked so funny. He pulled out his phone and took a couple pictures. He posted one on twitter with the caption "messing around with this dork" he put his phone away and we just sat there holding each other. A little while later, I heard Connors breaths get lighter. I looked down at him to see him sleeping. I slowly got up and put a pillow under his head and a blanket over his body.
About two hours later Connor finally woke up. He came running into my room breathless because he thought I left him. I felt so bad, so I decided to take him to Starbucks. When we finally arrived, we both ordered a vanilla bean frappe. I paid for our drinks and we waited for them to be named. When our names were called we went to the counter and picked up our drinks. The waiter winked at me before he said something.
"You're beautiful. How about you and me go somewhere after I get off?" He asks I notice connor looking down at the floor so I grabbed his hand and intertwined my fingers with his.
" I'm sorry, but I have someone at the moment." I say showing him our hands. Connor smiles and the guy gust nodded and said
"I'm sorry man. I thought you were friends. You're a really lucky guy" he states
"Yeah...I am really luck aren't I?" Connor says sweetly. I blush and thank the guy for our drinks before sitting down at a table
"Thank you for that" Connor says
"Just telling the truth" I say.
We finish our drinks before we head back home. We join Ali and Kian in the living room and we end up playing truth or dare. After a couple of rounds Trevor and Sam joined us. It was my turn to dare Ali when the doorbell rang. No one got up to get it so I dared Ali to get it. She walked to the door and opened it. I saw her hands turn into fists when she talked
"Peyton could you please take everyone upstairs?" Ali says she seemed mad, so I didn't want to test her.
I grabbed Connors hand and I started going upstairs when everyone followed me. As I passed the door, I quickly glance to see who it is...Jc. I stop and his eyes are red like he has been crying. He looks up and me and Ali does too.
"Upstairs now Peyton" she says pointing to the direction of my stairs. I don't move so Connor squeezes my hand to let me know that Ali is going to handle it. Jc look down at our hands and it looked like pain flashed across his face, but at this point I don't care. I walk to my room with the boys and I shut the door.
