(Peyton's P.o.v)
I woke up around eight to the sound of my phone going off. I see that it's a DM from Ali. I quickly unlock my phone before opening the app to see her DM. It read:
"I hope you're happy where you are. I hope you realize that picture from Disney was from before. I hope you realize what we've been through. I hope you realize that I cut myself every single fucking night because I'm afraid that you're dead."
My happiness soon turned into anger as I quickly opened my notes to reply. There wasn't enough character to fit what I had to say. I took a screenshot of it before I sent her the picture that read :
"Ali don't even fucking lie. Ricky is in that picture when he was at the house with me. Jc was with me that entire day and if you zoom in a little you can see him making our with some whore. Connor isn't in that picture, and he was there that day. So, unless Jc and Ricky drove there and Connor left, it's not from that day. I'm sorry To hear that we both relapsed. You probably hope that I'm dead, but don't worry....because I do too."
It's Saturday, so Matt is off of work. I send him a text to come over before I hop into the shower and get ready for the day ahead of me. I walk downstairs and I smell pancakes and bacon...I guess it's a good day. I'm surprised to see Matt standing over the stove with an adorable chefs hat and apron on. Waittt...how the hell did he get in here?
"Matt, I'm happy to see you and all...but how the hell did you get in?" I ask
"Your dad was leaving and he said he would be gone for two weeks. He asked me to take care of you. I thought he was rude?" He says wearily.
"Some days he is. He's bipolar I guess. But could you just maybe sleep here for the two weeks?" I ask shyly. I hate to admit it, but I was scared of being alone in an unfamiliar country.
"Yeah sure." He says winking
"I'll just come to your work I guess." I say
"No I quit, my boss is a dick." He says laughing.
"Good. We can could just relax then." I say. He just nods and finishes making the food before setting it in front of me.
"This looks really good Matt." I say grabbing the syrup from the cabinet.
"Thanks." He says sitting down
"Aren't you eating any?" I ask him
"I'm not hungry." He says as his stomach growls
"Your stomach begs to differ. Do you eat Matt?" I ask him carefully
"I do, it's just I want you to eat." He says blushing
"Here." I say taking a pancake and slapping him with it. He laughs before eating it.
After we both eat the bacon and pancakes, we walk upstairs to my room. I click on my phone to see if Ali replied. Nothing. I frown and Matt seems to notice.
"Are you okay?" He asks siting next to me on the bed
"It's nothing." I lie.
"Don't lie to me Pey." He says softly as he scoots closer to me
"It's just Ali." I say showing him the DM's
"I remember that day. My heart shattered when I saw Sam and the rest of the boys tweet that you were missing. I thought you were dead." He says
"I wish." I mumble quietly
"Huh?" He asks confused
"Nothing." I lie.
He doesn't seem to notice, so he just drops the subject. Or so I thought. I felt arms wrap around my waist as his head rests in the crook of my neck.
"Don't do it Peyton. You're worth something." He says softly
"Do what?" I ask slightly confused.
"Commit." He replies
"Oh..." Is all I can manage to say
"Please...Peyton don't do it." He says. He is about to cry. I can hear his voice cracking with every word
"Matt it-" I begin
"Peyton no please. I need you in my life. Ever since I started watching your videos, I've been so much happier. I haven't cut in five months because of you. You saved my life Pey." He finishes.
By this time he's sobbing uncontrollably. I pull him into a hug and I rub his back as each sob escapes his body.
"Shhh Matt...please don't cry. I hate seeing you like this. I won't go anywhere. I'm not going to leave you Matt." I say kissing the top of his forehead.
"Promise?" He asks me looking up. Tears still brim his eyes and I can't help but say the next words that escape my lips.
"I promise Matt. I promise you I won't go anywhere."I say crossing my fingers.
We hug each other for a couple minutes before I feel matts breath become lighter. I look down and he's sleeping. I carefully lay Matt down and I snuggle against him and intertwine our fingers. I stay awake because for some reason I can't fall asleep. After an hour Matt wakes up. We just relax and watch Netflix all day. We decide to go to Nados for dinner since I've never been there. The food was amazing lime everyone says. When the check comes I go to pay, but Matt takes my hand and intertwines our fingers before placing his money inside the check.
"Matt you didn't hav-" I start
"Yes I do, after all you've done for me it's the least I can do." He says.
I give him a quick, friendly kiss on the check and he blushes furiously. We head back to my house and Matt walks over to his to grab a few things for the next two weeks. We watch his favorite movie and during the end, I feel my eyes start to get heavy. I feel Matt pick me up and carry me to my bed. As soon as I hit the pillow, I'm out like a light.

Booooopppp. Sooo I have to clear something up. In the last chapter I was face timing a friend who was in Florida. I asked her if I should use Matt or Carter and I was already halfway writing when she answered. She chose Matt so I had to change it but I forgot a lot of places. I went back and edited it so yeahhhhh. I love you all soooooo much, and until next time...☁️STAY CLOUDY☁️ Bye guys I love youuuuu
