(Peyton's P.o.v)
It's been two weeks since we moved into the basement because of my father. He hasn't tried anything so we are starting to feel a lot safer than before. The others leave the house sometimes, but I don't. I was snuggled against Jc when Ricky came home from Whole Foods. He had about six or seven bags in his hands when he asked for help. I gladly got up and started to help him put the food away in the cabinets and fridge. He went upstairs to cook some food when I heard him scream. I looked at Jc and ran upstairs.
"Ricky!' I scream
"THERES SOMEONE AT THE DOOR!" He yells back
"Look through the window to see wh-" I'm interrupted by Ricky laughing
"FALSE ALARM ITS JUST WISHBONE!" He says in between laughs. I can't help but laugh myself
"YOU SCARED THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF ME!" I yell in between giggles
He walks back into the kitchen and I go back into the basement where Jc is looking at me strangely
"What happened?" He asks curiously
"Wishbone was scratching at the door and Ricky got scared." I inform him as I sit down on the couch beside him
"Where is everyone?" Jc asks me after a long pause of silence.
"Ali, Sam, Kian, and Connor are at Disneyland. And then there's us and Ricky here." I inform him
"What a weird time to go to Disneyland ." Jc says
"Yeah that's what I was thinking...but whatever floats their boat I guess." I answer.
"FRICK I FORGOT THE NOODLES!" Rick yells. Jc and I both laugh
"GO BUY SOME NOODLES THEN!" Jc yells back
"COME WITH ME PLEASE!" Ricky begs
"FINE JUST LET ME GRAB MY WALKET AND KEYS AND WE'LL GO!" Jc laughs. He gets up from the couch and walks upstairs.
To be completely honest, I didn't want to be alone. I was extremely scared but if Jc wanted to go somewhere I didn't want to be the one to stop him. When I heard the door close, I got scared. I called Wishbone and he came running down the stairs. He sat in my lap and he fell asleep almost instantly. A couple minutes later I heard the door open and close.
"Hello?" I called upstairs. No answer. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and I was paralyzed in fear.
"R-Ricky? Jc?" I ask
"Guess again." A familiar voice sounds from behind me
"D-dad?" I say shakily
"Bingo." He says. I get up to run but he says something that makes me want to die
"I wouldn't do that if I were you. I have two of my men watching your boy Kc as we speak." He says
"It's Jc." I tell him
"Sorry. I thought it was Kc." He says nicely
"Were you just nice to me?" I ask dumbfounded
"You know how I hate getting names wrong." He says
"True." I say. Despite his flaws my dad could be a really nice person if he wasn't mental
"Now going back to the kidnapping." He says pulling out a gun
"Ok where am I going?" I say calmly
"Just across the street." He states. What?
"What?" I ask
"Tomorrow we are leaving to London. I know you always wanted to visit there, so since I'm kidnapping you, we are going where no one will find you." He says...that's what he thinks
"Alright." I say
"No need to pack a bag. We will buy clothes there. Now let's go." He spits pressing the barrel of the gun to my side. Well...he was right. He did get me.
