A/N: If you haven't seen my profile I am going to try to stick to a writing schedule. This story will be updated on Thursday's and Catch Me If You Can will be updated on Mondays. The reason I am updating this one early, is because I am having all four of my wisdom teeth cut out Thursday and I don't think you guys want me trying to publish all drugged up XD  Anyways, You might see 1 update on those days or you might see 6 updates on those days it just depends on how many chapters I've done and how motivated I've been. We shall see how this schedule thingy works.

AlSO for my younger readers, this chapter is a little on the M side. there is a flashback scene that gets a little steamy so as always if that makes you uncomfortable turn back now. Flashback scene is in Italics

The first couple of weeks of being back in Killian's class seemed to go okay, it was a little awkward at first not making eye contact but She knew the second she looked into those eyes, It would be game over. Today, however she was having a little trouble with the piece she was trying to play. It didn't help that she was trying to play on piano instead of guitar. Piano was one of her weaker points and that's what Killian wanted them to focus on this week, so here she was looking like an idiot cringing every time she'd hit the wrong key before she banged her forehead into the keys out of frustration.

"You look like you could use some help." Killian said walking up behind her.

"No, No.. I'm good. I just haven't played piano in a while." Lyric said and shrugged. Killian looked around the room to make sure no one was really paying attention.

"Lyric, if you need help it's what I'm here for." He said. "I teach, it's what I do."

"Okay. I guess I could use some help. with this part right here." She said and highlighted a part of the sheet music in front of her. Killian chuckled

"You haven't played piano in a while and the first thing you pick is Chopin? I admire your enthusiasm but that is just setting yourself up for irritation. Start small." Killian said.

"My brain doesn't do small. my brain does go big or go home." Lyric said and smiled to herself. "and I don't think I'm getting where I need to go by playing Row Row Row your boat."

"If you insist." Killian smiled. "May I?" He asked. Lyric nodded and scooted over on the bench thinking he was just going to sit beside her and show her what she needed to be doing but instead He stood behind her and put his hands on hers moving them where they needed to be. She shuddered under his touch and her breath hitched in her throat.

Focus Lyric. He's your teacher, nothing more

She took a deep breath and shook back the feelings allowing him to move her fingers over the correct keys but she couldn't help her mind from going to a different place.

Lyric strolled through Killian's dark house after he fell asleep. She was unable to sleep and looked down at her phone

Dad:

I get it, we don't have a curfew for you but, I'm worried where are you?

Lyric:

Sorry dad, I actually met someone really cool and we are hanging out she's in the same music class I'm taking this year. I'll be home first thing in the morning I promise.

Lyric felt a pang of guilt She hated lying to her parents but they couldn't know where she was. 'Hey Dad, I went to a bar and hooked up with a stranger who is an older man by the way and now I'm walking through his house in the dark like a weirdo' Is not what you message your father.

Dad:

Okay. See you in the morning. Love you!

They trusted her so much sometimes it killed her. She didn't know many 17 year olds that could stay out until the wee hours of the morning without their parents asking too many questions. If only they knew what she had done. Her parents were incredibly reckless at her age and she prided herself in being careful she had even promised her parents she wouldn't have sex until she knew for sure it was the right person and she didn't know for sure if that was Killian or not. She had never felt so strongly about anyone, especially someone she had just met. She walked into a large open room and flipped on a lightswitch and gasped. First of all, what kind of bartender had this big of a house, second of all this piano. It was beautiful. It was an Antique Style 1 Steinway & Sons Rococo Victorian Grand Piano, with a brazilian rosewood finish that was stunning under the dim lights in the room. If she had to guess this was a model from the late 1800s and it was easily a hundred thousand dollar piano. Lyric wasn't as well practiced on the piano but she couldn't help but stroll over and sit down in front of it she ran her fingers over the keys and began playing softly closing her eyes and taking in the sound. She felt Killian's strong arms around her and his lips traced up her neck to her ear.

"Thought you were asleep love." He whispered.

"I could say the same for you." She smiled.

"Ah, well. the sound of my piano playing in the middle of the night when I am used to living alone was quite spooky." He chuckled.

"I'm sorry. I couldn't sleep and I decided to wander aimlessly around your house and then I saw this. and you don't just see a Piano like this and not play." Lyric said and looked over her shoulder at him.

"It's alright, I've been woken up worse ways." He said and leaned in kissing her.

"Come back to bed. I can help you sleep." He smirked. Lyric blushed and ran her hands over the hem of his tee shirt that she was still wearing.

"Play with me." She smiled.

"Well that was, included in the come back to bed package love." He grinned.

"Okay, mr. One track mind, I meant the piano. Play the piano with me." Lyric giggled. "Please?" She asked and looked up at him with her dark blue eyes batting her eyelashes.

"How does one say no to that?"

Lyric smiled ear to ear and slid over on the bench giving him room. Killian slid onto the bench next to her and flexed his fingers before starting to play he glanced sideways at Lyric as she joined right in without missing a note. Who was this girl? Lyric felt her heart flutter as he started singing. His voice was soft and sexy and it sent shivers up her spine. She sang along with him softly and their voices blended perfectly together and Lyric let a tear roll down her cheek. Killian stopped playing and put his hand over hers.

"You alright love?" He asked. She nodded.

"I just get emotional sometimes when I play and playing with you..It just overwhelmed me." She smiled and wiped another tear away. She looked up at him seeing her reflection in his bright blue eyes. She leaned in and he met her half way and their lips collided, Killian tangled his fingers into her brown hair deepening the kiss.

"Why can't I keep my hands off of you for more than five minutes?" He asked breathlessly

"I don't know but don't stop now." Lyric sighed and crashed her lips back into his shifting herself on the bench so she was straddling his lap. He broke away from the kiss only to pull the tee shirt over her head she pressed her chest against his as he reached down and pushed his sleep pants down Lyric buried her face into his sweat glistened neck as they made a different kind of music together.

The bell rang ripping Lyric away from her happy, steamy memories of her heated summer fling. Killians hands were still over hers she pulled her hands away quickly and stood from the bench swallowing the lump in her throat. She picked up her backpack and her guitar case.

"Lyric, wait." Killian said. Lyric stopped keeping her eyes anywhere but on his. Her breathing was shallow and she needed to get away from him before they did something that they couldn't take back.

"You..felt it too." He mumbled.

"I..can't. We.. I have to go." She said and ran from the classroom trying to keep her composure disappointed in herself for almost slipping, this was proving to be much harder than she thought it was going to be.
