"Shit, Lyric you okay honey?" Darren asked as he got up to help clean up the broken glass off the floor
"Yeah It. uh. Just. it slipped." Lyric said and glanced up at Killian.
"Mr. Jones.." She said and gave a quick nod to greet him.
"Oh, I should have warned you, your teacher was in the living room." Darren said. "Sorry if that's awkward."
"No. It's not." Lyric lied.
"Ah this is your daughter?" Liam asked. "Lass has one hell of a voice."
"Oh you've heard her play?" Darren asked.
"Right. So. I'm going to bed." Lyric said "See you.. Uh tomorrow Mr. Jones."
"Bright and early Miss Mckenna." Killian replied and waved her off awkwardly. Lyric couldn't run up the stairs fast enough. She opened her bedroom door and walked in and then shut it and paced back and forth.
"What? What is it??" Tink asked.
"Uh.. so. Plot twist. My dad is now friends with the teacher I hooked up with this summer and he's now sitting on my couch!" Lyric hissed.
"Are you freaking kidding me??" Tink asked. "I want to see!" She said and snuck out of the bedroom Lyric followed her
"Tink!" She hissed. Tink peeked over the stairs.
"Which one?" She asked.
Lyric sighed.
"Red plaid, messy hair." She whispered.
"Holy..shit!" Tink squeaked. Killian looked up and locked his eyes with Lyric's
Shit shit shit
Darren looked up over the stairs.
"What are you two doing? Go to bed!"
"Yes Dad." Lyric said and grabbed Tinks hand and pulled her back to the bedroom.
"Oh. My God if you don't want him I call dibs!" Tink practically squealed.
"No! You can't have him." Lyric hissed with jealousy she didn't know she had. "He's a teacher.." She mumbled
"Well that didn't stop you." Tink smirked.
"I didn't know!" Lyric said.
"Girls!' Darren hollered from down stairs. "Bed!"
"Oh. my God this is so embarrassing." Lyric groaned and face planted her bed. How was she supposed to sleep when he was in her house, on her couch, having beer with her dad.

"I didn't know Lyric had a sibling." Killian said glancing up the stairs wondering just how much the blonde girl who was practically drooling over him knew.
"She doesn't that's just her friend Tink, her family just moved her from Boston so Tink is staying with us for a couple days while her parents get squared away on a house. It's not a surprise those two have been inseparable since they were very little. They've done everything together, Music, dance. Her and Lyric even dabbled in cheer for their first year of high school before Lyric decided she hated it and just wanted to focus on music."
She was a cheerleader, no wonder she's so bendy. No. Killian. Christ her father is literally sitting there in front of you. Get a grip.
"Oh. How.. nice." Killian smiled.
"I'm hoping this will help her, having Tink here. She's struggled a lot this year so far, She met some guy this summer and her whole life has imploded." Darren sighed. Killian almost choked on his beer.
"You okay there?" Darren asked.
"Wrong pipe." Killian choked out as he tried to push the image of Lyric in those tiny sleep shorts out of his brain. "Lyric is a smart girl, everyone struggles in a new environment and some of the students at Storybrooke can be horrible to new people." Killian said. "I arranged for her to retake her history test David, well Mr. Nolan as she knows him is a good friend of mine."
"Oh wonderful! That was nice of you. Thank you. Lyric is kind of obsessive over her grades. She's a perfectionist and likes to be in control of everything." Darren chuckled.
Well.. not everything. God Damnit Killian stop!
"Oh, I know. Sometimes I think she could teach my class better than I can." Killian smirked.
"Do you think she has a good shot at Julliard?"
"Julliard? She could go to any music school she wanted to with her talent." Liam said
Shut up Liam. Killian thought.
"She played in the bar last friday." Liam said and slid his phone across the table. "Normally I don't let kids in but I'm glad I did. People have been asking when she's coming back."
You are killing me Liam
Darren hit play on the video listening to his daughter play and sing.
"What do you think Killian?" He asked.
"I think Liam is right." Killian said. "There's not going to be many schools who won't take her. Juilliard included I already have her audition lined up for spring. I just haven't told her yet."
"She is going to freak out." Darren chuckled.
"Just gotta make sure she keeps her grades up and stays out of trouble." Killian grinned.
"Oh that shouldn't be too much of a problem, now that Tink is here whatever trouble she was getting into should cease." Darren said.
Not as long as she's hanging around Scarlet.
"Hopefully. I know our school party girl has a party planned for this weekend."
"Oh we don't have to worry about that Lyric doesn't do parties."
"Oh? Really..She told me she was going with her friend Will." Killian said and shrugged.
Did you really just do that Killian? Did you really stoop that low?
"Huh. She hasn't mentioned it. I'll talk with her in the morning." Darren said.
"I actually had better get going, 5:30 comes early." Killian smirked.
"I do not envy you." Darren laughed. Killian stood up.
"Thanks for the beer. Mr. McKenna." He smiled.
"Just call me Darren and no problem." Darren said as Killian grabbed his coat and left. Liam followed him out.
"So that was awkward." Liam said.
"Why was it awkward?" Killian asked trying to hide that it was indeed awkward.
"Awfully ballsy of you to sit there and have a beer with that man knowing that you boinked his daughter." Liam said.
"Excuse me??" Killian asked.
"Oh, come on brother." Liam smirked. Killian sighed and ran his hands through his hair.
"How did you find out?"
"Word of advice. The next time you leave the bar, to hook up with someone in the bathroom, don't leave Eddie in charge, he gives pretty girls free drinks. I had to look over security footage to figure out where the missing money went and saw you follow her to the bathroom and then I saw you leave with her." Liam said.
"Shit.." Killian sighed. "Why didn't you say something when she came to the bar to play??" He asked.
"Because I like watching you squirm. Don't worry I'm not going to tell anyone. That would be a bloody mess." Liam said.
"Thank you.." Killian sighed in relief.
"You aren't still seeing her are you?" Liam asked.
"No..I don't know. I want to but at the same time.."
"Its wrong, Killian. Shes 17." Liam said.
"I know. I know. It's just.."
"Shes. 17." Liam said again. Killian sighed.
"Lets just go."

Lyric and Tink walked into the kitchen the next morning getting cereal for breakfast. Lyric leaned against the counter.
"So, Mr. Jones thinks you have a pretty good shot at getting into any music school you want." Darren said.
"Oh. He does? Nice." Lyric smiled and took a bite of cereal.
"He..also mentioned a party this friday and something about you going with Will?" Lyric spit her cereal to avoid choking.
"He..said that?" Lyric asked.
Oh.. Jones you are a dead man
"Yeah. I told him that was odd. You don't do parties."
"Well.. I actually I was thinking of going to this one I was going to tell you I just didn't have the chance." Lyric said defensively
"I don't know. I don't like the idea of it. I've been to high school parties. They aren't really your scene kid." Darren said.
"Come on Dad its just a party."
"No. Besides you have saturday school the next day and you need to study for your retake. So no."
"Ugh.." Lyric groaned. "Fine."
"Good. Go get ready for school."
Oh I will.
Lyric finished her cereal and walked up the stairs to get ready.

"Uh. Whoa." Tink said and looked Lyric up and down. Her normally straight brown hair was tousled and a little wild. Instead of just some eyeliner and mascara she had a full face of makeup finished off with a deep purple almost black lipstick. Her tee shirt was a faded band tee with the bottom of it resting just above her hip bones and her jeans were so Tink figured they were sucking her soul out of her there were studs and rhinestones all over the pockets and when she turned around there was a small frayed hole over the back pocket but big enough to see her purple lace underwear through it.
"Holy. Shit." Tink said. "Are we sneaking out the back door because there is no way your dad is letting you go to school looking like.. This" She said.
"They're just clothes Tink." Lyric smiled.
"No. These" Tink said and gestured at her outfit "Are just clothes. What you have on is..walking revenge."
"Killian told my dad about the party because he's jealous over Will. If he wants to be jealous I'm going to give him something to be jealous over." Lyric smirked.
"You've lost your mind. That's it. We need to go back to boston." Tink said.
"I haven't lost my mind Tink. Killian thinks he can use his position of authority to get what he wants, so I'm letting him know that he can't." Lyric smiled and picked up her backpack and walked down the stairs.
"What. is. That?" Darren asked.
"I think that's our daughter but.. I'm not sure." Sarah said.
"Relax guys I'm just trying a new look." Lyric shrugged.
"I like the old one. Put it back please." Darren said and pointed to the stairs.
"No time dad, gotta go." Lyric smiled and kissed his cheek and walked over to the door and slipped on her shoes and picked up her guitar.
"Come on Tink!" She said and walked outside.
"I had nothing to do with that." Tink said as she walked outside after Lyric.

Lyric walked into the music building with Tink. "Choir room is right there." She said and pointed to the classroom next to Killian's. She looked at Tinks schedule. "We have History, Gym, and science together to. awesome meet me outside after class and I will show you where the Algebra room is."
"Great, Good luck with whatever it is you are doing." Tink laughed. Lyric put her cherry blow pop back in her mouth and winked before walking into Killians classroom. Killian was at the piano playing a pretty little melody before the rest of the class showed up. Lyric walked over to her seat and leaned her guitar up and strolled over to the piano and slid her finger over the keys. Killian looked over at her and then did a double take.
"Lyric.." He mumbled and stood up and looked her up and down. "I don't think that I need to tell you that you are wearing at least three dress code violations." He said.
"Nope." She smiled and turned around and walked over to the whiteboard he cocked his head to the side looking at the small tear in the back of her pants where he purple lace panties were playing peek a boo.
"4." he mumbled to himself and straightened his tie.
"So did you have a good time with my Dad last night Mr. Jones?" Lyric asked before swirling her tongue over the red blow pop in her hand and putting it back in her mouth. Killian grabbed the small trash can in the corner of the room and approached her.
"I don't allow candy in my class." He said. Lyric raised an eyebrow and pulled the blow pop out of her mouth, making a wet popping sound before she dropped it into the trash can.
"You didn't answer my question." She smiled.
"Yes, I had a good time with your father.. Your friend.. Tink does she know?"
"Maybe." Lyric said and shrugged and started walking back to her seat. Killian caught her arm and pulled her back.
"What the fuck are you doing?" He hissed in her ear.
"I'm not doing anything." Lyric said and pulled away from him.
"Does she know, or not Lyric? I don't want to play games with you." He warned.
"Oh. You don't? But you are so good at them." Lyric pouted. Killian was about to lose his shit when the rest of the class started filing in.
"Sit. Down." He said quietly and glared at her. She smiled and walked over to her seat and sat down.

Tink walked over to the lunch table and sat down with Lyric and the guys.
"Look! Its New, New girl." Will smirked.
"My name is Tink." Tink said narrowing her eyes at him and looked over at her best friend who had her legs kicked up in Wills lap.
"Gonna introduce me to your..friend?" Tink asked. Lyric looked up from her phone and smiled.
"Tink, this is Will, Victor, and Jefferson. Guys this is Tink." Jefferson grinned and extended his hand across the table.
"Hey. Tink." He smiled. Lyric raised her eyebrow never having seen Jefferson show much interest in anyone before.
"So not that I am complaining, Lyric but what is with the sudden wardrobe change and affection?" Will asked patting her legs.
"Just in the spirit for trying new things." Lyric smiled.
"So we are still on for friday then?" Will asked.
"Yeah." Lyric said.
"Was I the only one who heard your dad tell you, you couldn't go?" Tink asked.
"He'll change his mind." Lyric shrugged. Tink laughed.
"This is your dad. He's not changing his mind."
"Then I will find another way to go." Lyric said.
"You have lost your mind." Tink sighed.
"I have that effect on the good girls." Will smirked.
"I'm sure." Tink said giving Lyric a look. Killian walked over to the table.
"PDA is not tolerated Miss Mckenna put your feet on the floor where they belong." He said. Lyric smiled and shifted so she was now sitting in Wills lap but her feet were touching the floor. Tink spit her milk out.
"There. Feet are on the floor." She smiled. Will put his hands on Lyrics hips and his chin on her shoulder.
"Can't argue with that logic Jones." He smirked.
"Lyric what are you doing??" Tink hissed.
"Mckenna. Come with me." Killian said.
"But I'm eating." Lyric said and took a bite of her sandwich.
"Now!" He boomed. The whole cafeteria went quiet and all eyes were on them. Lyric slid off of Wills lap jumping when he squeezed her ass which only made Killian even more angry as he grabbed Lyrics arm and pulled her with him out of the cafeteria. Tink narrowed her eyes at Will.
"I saw that. Hands off." she said.
"You jealous Tink?" He asked.
"You wish." Tink snorted.

Killian pulled Lyric into the closest place he could find that would give them privacy which happened to be a janitor's closet. He shut the door and locked it and before Lyric knew it her back was pressed against the door.
"What are you doing?" Killian demanded his face inches from hers.
"Well, I was eating lunch before I was interrupted." Lyric said.
"Really? I didn't see much eating happening. I told you I don't like him touching you!" He hissed.
"You are just my teacher Killian. Who touches me shouldn't matter to you." Lyric shrugged.
"Oh cut the bullshit! You know I am more than just your teacher and you are more than just my student and we are just walking circles around the truth."
"The truth?" Lyric asked.
"Don't be coy with me Lyric." Killian snapped. "You know exactly what I am fucking talking about."
"Enlighten me." Lyric said.
"Why are you doing this?" Killian asked.
"Because you are so jealous over Will that you told my dad about Ruby's party! Seriously Killian?" Lyric said and glared.
"I have a right to be jealous when you are practically dry humping him in the fucking cafeteria!" Killian growled.
"No! You don't. You don't own me Killian! We had sex, but you were the one who wanted to stop this! YOU told me we couldn't do this and now suddenly because you are jealous you think you can control what I do? You can't! You want to play games. Fine. We will play." Lyric said and pushed him off of her and unlocked the closet and opened the door walking out and slamming it behind her.
