A/N: I'm going into hiding until it is safe to come out. Don't hate me guys! Working on the last chapter now. :P

The summer had been great so far, Lyric and Killian were practically attached at the hips for the first couple of weeks.
Tink had gotten into a college in New York as well, so Killian helped the two of them pick an apartment in New York that was a halfway point between both schools and they would be moving in to that at the end of August to prepare for the fall semester but for the moment everyone was gathered on the beach for a Fourth of July celebration.
Killian and Lyric had snuck off to find a secluded part of the beach where they were currently rolling around in the hot sand locked in a heated kiss.
"Love, if we don't stop.." Killian mumbled in between kisses.
"I don't want to stop." Lyric said. "No one is watching and I've been staring at you in those damn swim trunks for way too long today." She gasped as his lips trailed down her neck and he reached behind her neck to untie her bikini top.
"Gods you are fucking beautiful." He sighed as her bikini top fell down. "Have you been tanning topless?" he asked cocking his head noticing she had no tan lines, her skin was evenly sunkissed.
Lyric smirked.
"Why was I not invited?" Killian pouted.
"Hey, look. You've got a full show now. So hush." Lyric smiled and kicked sand at him.
"Oh, you.." He growled and grabbed her ankle pulling her to him pushing her back down into the sand.

Killian and Lyric joined the others trying to make it less than obvious as to what they had snuck off to do.
"I have sand in places sand should not be." Lyric hissed.
"Hey. It was your idea. I could throw you in the ocean." He whispered.
"Killian Jones if you thro-"
Killian instantly took to her challenge and scooped her up carrying her to the ocean.
"Killian!" She squeaked While Tink was laughing and taking pictures.
"You're feeling a bit warm love, I think you should cool off." Killian smirked.
"I think you should think twi-" Lyric didn't finish her sentence before Killian dropped her into the water. She gasped and pushed her drenched hair out of her face. Killian chuckled and reached down to help her up. She grabbed his hand and pulled him down into the water.
"Hey!" He said.
"Hey yourself you started it." Lyric smiled and splashed him before getting out of the water. Killian joined her and they walked over to Darren who was passing out food.
"Where have you two been?" He asked.
"Uh. Taking a swim." Lyric smiled and took a hot dog from him and walked past Killian eating it in a suggestive manner. making him choke on the water he was drinking.
"You okay there Killian?" Darren asked.
"Yep." Killian said clearing his throat and walking away awkwardly.

Later, Killian and Lyric sat in the sand watching the fireworks.
"I'm not ready for summer to be over." Lyric said.
"We still have the rest of this month and most of next before you have to move to New York." Killian smiled "Aren't you excited for Juilliard?" He asked.
"Yeah I am. I just wish I didn't have to leave you here, to go there. You know?"
"Well, now that I'm not teaching I have more time to come and visit." Killian grinned.
"You promise you'll visit?"
"As often as I can love." Killian said and pressed a kiss to her temple. Truthfully he wasn't ready for summer to be over either.

Killian was working the bar, when he noticed Lyric strolling in. She smiled and sat across from him.
"Still have my fake ID." She giggled.
Killian smirked. "I kind of hoped you did. You gonna use it in New york and sneak your way into some other bartenders heart?" Killian asked.
"I would never." Lyric said. "Do you know what today is?"
"The 16th." Killian grinned. "Has it really been a year?"
"Yep. One year ago today, I walked into this bar, and I still to this day don't remember why. But I'm glad I did."
"I'm glad you did too." Killian smiled and reached out and touched her hand it amazed Lyric that after a year she still felt the sparks when he touched her.
"Now all we are missing is some Eagles cover band playing Desperado, two shots of fireball, and some steamy bathroom sex." Lyric smirked.
"Well." Killian said and walked over to his computer hooked up to the blue tooth speakers in the bar. He clicked something and desperado started playing. He walked back over.
"Its not a cover band, and I can't give you alcohol." Killian smiled and walked around the bar taking her hand and swaying with her to the music.
"Thats okay." Lyric smiled. "This is perfect." She said and pressed her forehead to his chest as they swayed to the music.
"1 out of three isn't bad at all." She smiled.
"Well, we could make it two." Killian winked and started swaying with her towards the bathroom.

--------------------------------------------------------

Lyric had been staying with Killian for the last week, because her grandfather was staying at her house. Her mother was due any day now and Darren promised to call when she went into labor.
Killian was nervous that Jack was back in town after their last conversation there was no telling what that man had in store for him.
Lyric came rushing into the living room.
"Its time!" She said excitedly.
"Alright, let me get my keys." Killian grinned as Lyric slipped her sandals on Killian followed her outside after grabbing his keys off the kitchen counter.

They made it to the hospital just in time for Lyric to see her baby brother being born.
She was overjoyed. The whole room had a happy feeling to it, even Jack who rarely smiled was smiling as he looked at the boy in Sarah's arms.
"Can I hold him mom?" Lyric asked.
"Of course." Sarah smiled "Help her Darren." Sarah instructed as she put the baby in Lyrics arms.
"Hold his head like this. Yeah. you got it." Darren said and smiled. "Shes a natural Sarah." He chuckled and then looked at his daughter. "Don't get any ideas you." He said wagging a finger at her.
"Don't worry Dad." Lyric laughed. "College. Then marriage. Then kids." Lyric said. That was always her plan.
"Good. Stick to it." Darren smiled as Lyric sat down with her brother in her arms.
"Welcome to the world Quin." She said softly. Killian watched Lyric hold her baby brother and thought it was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen, he'd love to see her one of these days holding their child.
"Killian." Jack said, breaking him from his happy thoughts. Killian glanced over at Jack.
"Jack." He muttered.
"A word?" Jack asked and walked out of the room. Killian sighed and followed him, surely on a day like this Jack wouldn't want to do anything to mess it up, but then again Lyric did refer to him as Voldemort.
"What is it Jack?" Killian asked.
"I know that Darren and Sarah are totally fine with you being in a relationship with my granddaughter, but..I'm not." Jack said.
"Well, I'm sorry to say Jack, but shes 18 and you have no say." Killian rolled his eyes and started walking back into the room.
"What do you think the staff at Juilliard would think, if the teacher that wrote the letter of recommendation to get her into the school, was romantically involved with her?" Jack asked stopping him in his tracks. This man was fucking evil.
"Why would you do that to her?" Killian spat.
"To her? I'm doing this for her. You are only a distraction that is holding her back from her potential, whether its music, or something more useful I don't care, as long as you are out of the picture."
"Thats not going to happen." Killian scoffed.
"Oh. It is. You have the rest of August to decide. could you really live with yourself if she got kicked out of Juilliard because you couldn't do one simple thing and walk away?" Jack asked.
"You are a horrible human being." Killian growled.
"I do what is best for my family whether they see it or not." Jack scoffed. "Let me know what you decide." He said and walked away.
Killian looked back into the room at Lyric who looked up and smiled at him with that beautiful smile of hers.
How was he supposed to walk away from her? How could he be responsible for destroying her future if he didnt?
