As soon as they were outside the gate, a barrier was made. Gracie moved to touch it but shocked." Ouch!!!" She cried. Jessica screeched." I'm outside with pesky humans!!" Mandy shook her head." I really hate to agree with you." They began walking through the woods.

"At least we can still adapt here. Right Gracie?" Cassie told them. Gracie hummed in response." I'm going to hunt that Mia. She's the one that caused this." She mumbled." The new girl?" Mandy and Jessica asked." Yes. Maybe she has something against us." She nodded. They were walking along the main road, when 5 guys walked up behind them. Gracie and Mandy could hear them laughing." Oh my goddess! We don't have weapons." Mandy told them." At least we could use self defense." Cassie said." We?" Gracie looked at her.

"Yeah. When you and Cole were gone, Carly helped me to learn some self defense." She explained. Gracie took out her gun from behind." Let them near me, and I swear to the moon goddess I will hurt them in the most gruesome way possible." She spat." What do you mean?" Jessica asked.

"I'll tear off their limbs, wrap it in gift wrap and hide them in a dumpster. If someone finds it, it would be Christmas for them." She smiled darkly at her horrified expression." Shhhh! Here they come!" Her twin whispered." Well it's only me and this." Gracie said.

"Woah! Look what we have here boys." One said." Mmmm..." the others followed." Why don't you pretty ladies come with us?" Another asked and walked over to Mandy. She grabbed his arm and flipped him over her shoulder." Why don't you go mutilate yourselves somewhere else." She asked. A guy grabbed Gracie. She head butted him and grabbed his neck and slammed his head against a big pot plant." Touch me, then you're dead." She warned." What's a pretty little thing like you gonna do, princess?" The first one asked her. She grabbed him quickly and sank her fangs in his throat." That's what." She wiped her mouth.

The rest charged at them." Gracie and Mandy growled. Their eyes flashed, showing the men what they are." Test me and see. My sister over there isn't afraid to show you what she is." Mandy pointed to Gracie. Gracie took out a pocket knife and in a few minutes, it was buried in the one man's chest." I might be pretty, but I'm no princess. I could rip your head off and still smile innocently. I could rip out your heart and mine would still be stone cold. So I suggest you leave us, filthy bloodsuckers." She warned as he fell to the ground.

"Let's go." Mandy said and pulled them away.

As the next few months dragged by, the girls had already began life as humans. Mandy and Cassie worked at their own boutique, Jessica moved in with her parents and Gracie became a waitress.

As her shift ended at a local diner, she headed outside to go back to her apartment. She walked slowly down an alley, when she heard a sound. Wings flapping! She turned around to see him but saw nothing. As she turned back, she saw one of the demon horses. They were bigger than the average horse and had red eyes. Maybe it is Madeline's. She thought.

"Come here girl. I won't hurt you. I know you can sense what I am but I won't harm you. Cross my heart." She said softly to the creature. The horse hesitated a little before bending down and allowing her to get on.

Michael rounded up the boys." Guys, there's been a report of one of our demon horses running around the streets in the city. Capture it and bring it back." He told them. They all nodded and took off.

As they drove pass, Mitch, James and Zack saw two familiar girls sitting on a bench." Isn't that them?" Mitch asked and James nodded. Cole and Colt flew above and found the horse and went after it. The guys below followed them until they came to the alley where Gracie stood. They all got out when the two men landed. They found the horse with someone sitting on top, ready to ride it.
