"Mommy!"

Lucia stopped her training to catch the running six-year-old coming at her a hyper speed. She caught him when he jumped spinning around afterward. Giggles rang out through the meadow which caught the attention of some of the wildlife.

"When's daddy coming home?" Jace questioned looking up at Lucia with his brown eyes. She sighed. Just like his father. Lucia dropped her son back down on the floor giving him a soft smile. Jace took her hand as they began their walk back to the town where their house was. Their hands swinging slightly.

"Soon. He's on a very important trip right now."

Jace looked up at her once more, her heart melting. Her son was the best thing that had ever happened to her. "Is daddy defeating the bad guys?" he questioned her making her heart sigh. She wished he was home with her and not trying to take down the evil that plagued the galaxy, but instead, she nodded to her son. "When I grow up, I want to be as strong and big as daddy."

Lucia closed her eyes trying not to hate the words that came out of Jace's mouth. Jace was just like his father, which scared her considering he almost was the evil thing to plague the galaxy. It was the fact that once her son was old enough to join the army, he would which meant that she'd have two boys off to war to worry about.

Why the Jedi council wouldn't let her help was beyond her.

Maybe it would be different if she didn't have a six-year-old to worry about. If her husband died in battle, at least their son would have someone. Yeah, that's what they must be thinking. Lucia looked back up at the sky one last time. They were supposed to be back today which is why she suggested a trip to the meadow to Jace, but they weren't.

It brews fear and dread inside of her.

What if their ship crashed? Or they got hurt in battle? Her husband and best friend, just gone like that. Jace would lose his father and his uncle all in one swoop and Lucia didn't believe that the two of them could ever recover from that.

"Daddy!" Lucia looked up at the sky to see the familiar ship of her best friend. She laughed before she and Jace started to run back towards the way they already came.

The plane touched down and when the ramp opened up, her husband walked out. Jace ran right up to him hugging him tightly. Lucia couldn't help but run up to him as well, wrapping her arms around her family.

"Ben! Your back!" She cried before he put down Jace to kiss his wife. Lucia couldn't help but melt into the kiss and wrap her arms around her husband. She felt a tiny body nudge its way between the two of them. "How was it?" she questioned when she pulled away.

Ben Solo smiled down at his wife sheepishly as she traced lightly the newest scar trailing down his face. "I might have got into a huge fight, but obviously, I came out on top. Now, I had to save Poe's ass," he told them throwing his head back to call out to the man coming down the stairs.

"I didn't need saving. You just assumed that I needed saving," Poe told him stealing Lucia from him to hug his best friend. "He just wanted a cool story for you," he whispered into her ear.

Lucia just threw her head back and laughed at the two of them before pulling away. "Let's go home and get some dinner in the two of you," she informed them before linking her arm in Bens. As the two of them walked slowly behind Poe who was goofing off with their son, she was happy.

But just as the happiness came, it faded as she woke from her deep slumber with a jolt. Her breathing was uneven as she walked to her bathroom to splash some water on her face.

As she did so, she thought about her dream and how real it was. How real she wished it was. She'd like to think that Kylo and her baby would have been a boy. While she isn't too sure that Poe would be the crazy uncle, it was nice to have that option.
