The Resistance base was silent.

No one wanted to say anything or move. Tears were shed as Luke comforted Leia, who was sobbing uncontrollably - the only sound within the base. Rey couldn't stop looking at the twins as their world crumbled once more.

She thought Ben Solo was still inside, but she was dead wrong.

"Everyone here thought that Lucia Kenobi was a horrible person," Poe started moving into the circle of fighters. "Today she sacrificed her life for us. And all you ever have done was make her feel awful and destroy any happiness she had left. Today, she became a hero to every single one of you in this room -" He cut himself off to try not to cry.

"She didn't have it easy," Rey stepped in making some bow their heads. "I felt the conflict she had every single day. She knew every action you guys took to stay away from her and took it with stride. Lucia was breaking at the seams and seeing her today, fighting with Ren. It was the most at peace I had ever seen her. It seemed as if she had it planned for a while."

Poe clapped Rey's shoulder. "Today is a day of mourning. We lost a hell of a good pilot and a damn good friend. But tomorrow? We start the end of this war. I refuse to let her sacrifice to be in vain. We are going to end the First Order. Who is with me?" He yelled throwing his fist into the air.

Everyone cheered and threw theirs up as well. Some went off to secretly apologize to the female, hoping the force would carry it home to her. Others sobbed with Leia and Luke or with Poe, Finn, and Rey.

"Lucia didn't deserve any of this. She deserved a nice, simple life, but I failed. I should have been the father she needed. Not the coward that I was." Luke's words cut everyone off as he stood tall. Some held their breaths thinking that he was going to run again. "I will not rest, not until the last of the First Order is gone."

Everyone began to cheer as Leia stood up next to her brother, wiping away the tears that plagued her face.

"For Lucia," she whispered earning more cheering.

That night they held a feast as Luke and Leia told stories from her childhood, from when she was the happiest. Leia told stories of how Ben acted around her, how so in love he was with her.

It only made some angry.

How could you kill the one you pledge to spend the rest of your life with? Accident or not? Jedi or not? It was inhuman. It was pitiful. Everyone could think of a million different ways to say it, but Luke calmed them down.

"This is backward of Vader." Everyone turned to look at Adrianna - a technician who somewhat could stand Lucia. "He did everything to protect your mother and the two of you. That's what lead him to the Dark Side. Then in the end, that is what killed your mother. This time, Kylo Ren was the one who killed both their child and her. I wonder if this is the beginning of his downfall - and not just because we're going to win this war."

Everyone mulled that over, but no one saw the looks the Twins gave one another. Leia gasped as Luke winked at her. A secret being shared between the two of them.

Kylo Ren couldn't sleep.

Every time he closed his eyes, all he saw was Lucia dying in his arms and her last whisper danced in his ears. He hasn't slept in two weeks since it happened. Bags lined the underneath his eyes and despite how many times Hux tried to get him out of his room, he just couldn't do it.

The worst part is he realized the First Order would go on with or without him.

Once again, he fell to his knees. But when looked up, Lucia was standing right in front of him. She was as clear as day making him fly to his feet. He outreached his hand as she gave him one of the saddest looks he has ever seen.

"Why, my love?" she questioned making him sob. "Why did you kill me?"

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry," he cried before falling to his knees in front of her. He hugged her midsection and couldn't help but take in how real this felt. "I didn't mean too. Forgive me," he sobbed as she knelt down with him.

She gave him a wide smile. "I forgive you. Our son is here," she informed him with a wide smile. "He's so beautiful. He has your eyes, but my smile. And his hair! His hair looks exactly like yours. You would have been in love with him, Kylo."

Instantly, it was all shattered with that single word.

She faded with that darling smile and he was left alone, guilt filling his heart. Even though she hated him, it still made him feel whole. He lost everyone because of his actions. Ben was going to hide in silence, but then frantic pounding on his door made him wipe the tears and stand.

Hux was out of breath, but still was able to say, "You need to come here this."
