"Jedi are not meant to love

"Jedi are not meant to love. That has been the rule since the beginning of time. It makes the Dark Side have an advantage, one that could kill you and those you love. But as I stand here today, bringing this young couple together brings more joy than harm. If anyone could ever beat the dark side and its temptations, it would be Ben and Lucia. They've done it over and over again and it makes me overjoyed to be able to call them Husband and Wife. Ben, just kiss her already and stop jumping in place."

Everyone laughed at Luke Skywalker as Ben Solo brought his wife in for a long kiss. The wedding guests cheered loudly as they broke apart. Once again, Ben had made Lucia his, but this time nothing was going to stand in their way.

"Jedi can love, but only if it can face the true testament of time. We are all stronger than what we fear and only we have the power to save those we care about," Luke finished looking more at the Jedi's in training.

Lucia's white dress was laced with red and Ben's tunic had a red flower pinned neatly to it. The small family of four embraced in a hug, tears flowing down the bride's cheeks. This was the family that she was missing, this was her family that will always be with her. The family that she fought so hard to keep.

Though Han wasn't with them, it felt like he was standing there. His presence was and that was what kept them whole.

"Come on! Let's party!" Poe yelled breaking up the small gathering. Everyone laughed before following him towards everyone else. Rey barely made it through Palpatine's attack, losing her tie to the force alongside it. It left a hole in her heart, but she was slowly coming to terms with it.

That night, Leia passed on with her brother, Ben, and Lucia by her side. The General was finally at rest. That night, they renamed the Jedi School 'Leia Organa Memorial' in honor of the fiercest warrior of all. That night Ben and Lucia not only celebrated their wedding, but the only mother figure the two of them had.

Just because they aren't here physically, doesn't mean they are truly gone.

This was a night of love and loss, but that was what was going to forge the new age ahead of them. They had a long way to go, but they could make it. They could make it through anything as long as they remembered one simple thing.

"The force will be with you. Always."
