Chapter Four: Welcome to Más que baile

Isabelle flashed the make-up artist a small smile as the woman finished off her make-up for her; tonight the red head would learn who would be her partner for the rest of the tournament.

"Nervous?" Anita asked as she passed Isabelle as she stood up, the female dancers were all wearing white/pink sequin dresses; while the men were wearing off-white/pink shirts and black dress pants.

"A little," the red head admitted as she thanked the make-up artist and moved out of the way allowing Anita to sit down; Isabelle was concerned who she would get as her partner for the tournament, she didn't want a repeat of her first year.

Isabelle had been partnered with Danny Trejo, who had flirted with her at every moment that he had gotten; not that she had minded but he was old enough to be her Grandfather and he kept trying to feel her up.

"Don't worry about it... you'll get someone decent," Anita said flashing Isabelle a smile as she smoothed out her white dress.

The red head nodded as she looked at her own dress, she was dressed in a dress that was very short and was ripped to show off her midriff plus it was white and pink which was partnered with silver heels.

"I guess I will see you later," Isabelle said as she flashed Anita one last smile before she walked out of the make-up trailer and onto the lot outside the studio.

The red head paused for a moment as she spotted Irina Shayk laughing outside of one of the men's dressing room trailers; the Russian smirked as her sister and her watched Cristiano exit the trailer.

The Portuguese was wearing an open white shirt with black dress pants and black dress shoes, he sighed as he tried to ignore the giggles of his girlfriend and her sister; he was nervous enough about this without adding Irina's amusement to it.

"Don't worry about it," Nuno said as he patted Cristiano on the shoulder; he knew that the footballer was nervous about making himself look like a fool that night, he couldn't help wonder who he would be paired with.

It was nearly the end of the welcoming show when Pilar Rubio called the female professional dancers onto the stage with the male celebrities; the evening had been filled with a taster of what was to come in the next three months.

The brunette presenter smiled as she spoke to the camera, while the female dancers lined themselves up; none of them wanted to be paired up with this season's old guy, Lorenzo Milá.

The seven female dancers glanced at the celebrities and couldn't help thinking that the dramatic pauses were getting longer each season.

"First let's start with Lorenzo Milá," Pilar said as she called the news presenter over, Isabelle swallowed hard as she watched him walk excitedly over to Pilar as she smiled at him.

"Lorenzo, you're partner for Más que baile 2013 is... Anita Cortez," Pilar revealed as she turned to look at Anita who forced a smile as she quickly made her way forward to hug her new partner.

Isabelle knew that they had done this to make sure that she didn't win the competition again, however she couldn't help but feel a little saddened for her friend; the older a celebrity was the faster they usually got kicked out of the competition.

"Next up we have, Cristiano Ronaldo," Pilar announced after she had spoken with both, Lorenzo and Anita about their partnership; making the Portuguese nervously walk towards her.

Isabelle watched as the remaining female dancers straighten their backs, it was clear who this season's most desirable male was; there was always one male that all the dancers would kill to have.

"Cristiano, you're partner for Más que baile 2013 is... Isabelle Swanson," Pilar announced with a smile making the red head choke on her on breath as she stared for a moment.

Isabelle smiled as she moved forward ignoring the glares of a couple of the other female dancers; she hadn't expected them to pair her up with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Hugging the footballer lightly, she quickly turned her attention to Pilar, who was smiling at them.

"Congratulations Cristiano... Isabelle will teach you things that you never knew," Pilar said making the red head glance at the Portuguese, who had wrapped his arm around her waist.

Isabelle flashed a smile as Pilar dismissed them with a cheeky grin before wishing them good luck as they headed off to the onset lounge; where they would meet when they weren't on the dance floor during a show.

As soon as they were off the dance floor and away from the camera's which were focusing back on the other celebrities; Cristiano sighed in relief making Isabelle smile at him softly.

"If you think tonight was hard just wait until you have to dance for the judges," the red head teased as she looked down at the judging panel, who were quickly discussing the first two partnerships of the season.

Cristiano looked at Isabelle and nodded as he licked his lips nervously, he had to admit that her pictures online hadn't done her or any of the female dancers justice.

"I'm Isabelle," she said as she held out her hand for him to shake, the Portuguese chuckled as he shook it and told her that he was Cristiano.

The two ignored the envious gaze of Anita, who was ignoring her own partner's excited talk about the competition; she couldn't believe that Isabelle had been selected as the partner for Cristiano Ronaldo.

"So the live show isn't for two weeks that should give us time to get you ready for the first live show," Isabelle commented making the footballer nod; he hadn't thought passed the launch show and now it was making him nervous.

Stefan grinned at his sister-in-law as he quickly approached her, he couldn't believe that she was the one that would be dancing with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Adrianne rolled her eyes as her husband excitedly hugged her sister as she moved to greet them after the show had finished.

"You're dancing with Cristiano Ronaldo," Stefan squealed excitedly making Isabelle roll her eyes as she moved away from him; she couldn't believe that was all he was excited about.

"He's just a footballer," the red head commented as she greeted her sister and hugged her, Stefan stared at his sister-in-law as if she had lost her mind.

"And no... you cannot come to rehearsals with me," Isabelle said knowing what he was going to ask; she couldn't risk her brother-in-law turning into a fan-girl while she was trying to teach Cristiano how to dance.

Stefan rolled his eyes as he glanced over at the footballer, who was talking with his agent and brother-in-law; he couldn't wait until Isabelle introduced them.

"Don't even think about it Stefan, we promised Belle that we'd take her for dinner after the show," Adrianna said as she looked at her husband, she couldn't believe that she had married such a big kid.

Stefan pouted for a moment making his sister-in-law laugh and shake her head before she told them she was going to get changed; she had a feeling that this season of Más que baile was going to be memorable.
