Isabelle took a deep breath as she walked down the hallway, her physio was going well and she no longer needed crutches to walk; however as for dancing it was taking her longer to get back on her feet.
Dolores peeked at the red head, she knew that the training was tough on her and she didn’t envy Isabelle for what she was trying to do; it was far from easy and it would take some time.
“Bom dia,” Dolores greeted with a smile, she watched as Isabelle pressed a kiss to the top of Junior’s head; she was sure that it would all work out in the end.
Isabelle looked at Dolores, she hadn’t really seen much of her boyfriend since the season was preparing to wrap for the holidays; it was cold outside and Isabelle had a feeling it would snow for Christmas.
“Buenos días,” Isabelle replied before she moved to make herself some toast, she was doing a bit of training on her own at home now and she was sure that the worst was over.
Cristiano was doing his best to help her with dances but he was away every couple of days and it wasn’t doing much to help Isabelle.
“What are your plans for today?” Dolores asked sipping on her coffee, she didn’t know what to do to help but she was sure that when Cristiano had a little more time that everything would be okay.
Isabelle brushed some hair from her face, she was a little glad that Cristiano had a home gym so that she could do some work alone; she didn’t want to have to keep relying on her physio all the time.
“I was going to try a little dancing,” Isabelle said smiling, she loved dancing and she wasn’t going to give up after all that she had been through.
Dolores nodded sure that Isabelle would know not to push herself too hard, she had only been doing physio for two months and she had made great process so far.

Cristiano pulled off his gloves and sighed relieved when he closed the front door behind him, he chuckled at the sound of Junior hurrying to greet him; he couldn’t wait to start his holidays after the months of playing football.
“Papa,” Junior squealed in excitement running to hug his father, he smiled as Cristiano picked him up and cuddled him close; it was rare that Cristiano got to come home early.
Dolores popped her head out of the kitchen and smiled at her son, she was pleased that he was home and she hoped that he would be able to spend some time with his family.
“Have you been a good boy?” Cristiano asked walking further into his home, he peeked around already knowing that Isabelle would be practicing; she was determined to be ready for the new season of Más que baile which would be starting in March of the new year.
“I have,” Junior agreed smiling, he looked up at his father with big eyes as Cristiano set him back on the floor; he ruffled Junior’s hair and looked at Dolores who nodded her head.
Cristiano took a deep breath as Junior hurried away back to the game that he had been playing; he watched his son leave before turning his attention to his mother.
“She’s practicing again,” Dolores said knowing what her son was thinking, she knew he worried about Isabelle and she was sure that the red head was fine.
Cristiano sighed running his fingers through his hair, he knew that she was fighting to be ready for the three month deadline and he hoped that she wasn’t pushing herself too hard.
“I better check on her,” Cristiano said moving to collect a sports drink from the fridge, he had a feeling that Isabelle would need it.
Dolores nodded her head, she had no idea what Isabelle would do if she wasn’t able to dance but she had a feeling that the red head was never going to give up on her dreams; this was something she was born to do.
Cristiano quietly headed for the gym, he doubted that Isabelle would be expecting him to be home and he hoped that he would be able to help her in some small way.
“Mierda,” Isabelle cursed as she righted herself, she was trying some simple moves that she knew that she could do; it was when she tried to do something more that she failed.
Moving to sit on the floor, Isabelle rubbed her leg and tried to calm herself down; she wasn’t expecting things to get better overnight but she was hoping for a little more.
“Are you okay?” Cristiano asked stepping inside, he had hear her swear and he knew that she wouldn’t have done it for no reason; he looked at his girlfriend sat on the floor and sighed.
Isabelle looked at Cristiano surprised to see him, things had been far from easy between them and she felt a little bad about how things were all playing out.
“Fine,” Isabelle grumbled slowly getting back to her feet, she gently added weight to her leg and moved away from Cristiano; she hated feeling weak especially in front of him.
Cristiano watched her, he put down the drink and slowly walked towards Isabelle to comfort her; he didn’t want her punishing herself over this, it wasn’t meant to be easy.
Wrapping his arms around Isabelle, Cristiano pressed a kiss to her cheek and smiled a little; he had missed having moment like this with her and he was sure that everything would be fine.
“It’ll all get better,” Cristiano whispered trying to cheer her up, he didn’t want her thinking that she wasn’t doing any good; it was just going to take some time for her to recover fully.
“I know… I just wish it was easier,” Isabelle muttered annoyed with herself, she had been warned by her doctor that the road that she had chosen wasn’t an easy one but she had to do this for herself.
The last thing that the red head wanted was for her parents to be right, she wanted to prove that her injury was not career ending; it wasn’t going to make or break her in any way.
“I’m here Isa… let me help you,” Cristiano pleaded wanting to help, he still felt like this was his fault and he was sure that there was something that he could do to help her.
Cristiano turned Isabelle to face him and kissed her softly, he loved her so much and he wasn’t going to let this bring her down; she had so much ahead of her.
“I’ll do whatever you need me too,” Cristiano murmured against his girlfriend’s skin, he was sure that they would be able to work together on helping her dance again.
Isabelle smiled a little, she loved how supportive he was being and she hoped that they would be able to survive what ever happened; she kissed him softly glad that he had stood by her.
“How did I get so lucky with a boyfriend like you?” Isabelle mused with a smile, she brushed her fingers through Cristiano’s hair as his hands rested on her hips.
Cristiano stared down at her, his brown eyes filled with emotion that made him swallow; she had no idea that he was the lucky one out of the two of them, she had saved him from the biggest mistake of her life.
“I don’t know,” Cristiano whispered, he would have ended up with Irina if he hadn’t of entered Más que baile and he couldn’t quite believe that fact now that he had Isabelle in his life.
Isabelle smiled kissing Cristiano again, she was glad that she had found him even if it had led to a drama filled few months for the both of them.
“Can I have this dance?” Cristiano asked giving Isabelle a gentle twirl, he still remembered most of his moves from filming the show even after months of not actually dancing.
Isabelle nodded her head, she had a feeling that the future was going to be a lot brighter for the two of them.
