"Sang ki..." Jimin breathed into the other line of the phonecall. the way my name rolled off his tongue so tenderly made me love my name more than i ever thought i would.

"remember the one day you joined our company?" i gulped. what was he going on about.

i nodded, eventhough he couldnt see me. Baekhyun looked concerned.

"you told me your fathers name was... Kim Jungseo?" i felt my heart ache by the mention of his name. i sighed into the line.

"yes, yes thats his name." i tried to fight back tears that were forcing their way to escape. my heart fluttered at his small laugh.

"okay then baby." i smiled lightly at the petname he gave me. i was so in love.

"oh, can i ask you to come to work a little later today? come at three pm." i chuckled. "of course! love you, jimin..." i was unsure of how he would answer, but i couldnt hear anything from the other line.

he hung up...

i felt my heart clench at how he ignored my confession. so, was i just used?

i was snapped out of my thoughts with Taehyung and Jungkook walking into the room, holding hands. my eyes sparkled, forgetting everything about Jimin. i could hear Baekhyun internally crying, and i felt bad.

"uhm... s-so..." Taehyung was about to speak up, but Jungkook beat him to it. "Taehyung and me are dating." he smiled at me, making my eyes even wider. i was honestly so happy- Taehyung was with Jungkook now, and Jungkook was over me-

wait.

Baekhyun? what about Baekhyun? i looked over at Baekhyun, who had a painful smile plastered on his face. i felt my heart swell up at his next words.

"aw! im honestly so happy for you!"

why did he remind me so much of myself? Jimin wasnt dating anyone- but i was in this state too. when you get rejected like this.

"yeah... thank you Baekhyunnie!" Taehyung let go of Jungkook's hand, this action causing Jungkook to sulk at the view in front of him. Taehyung squeezed the forzen Baekhyun.

"thank you for being my bestfriend!" Taehyung beamed happily, breaking the hug. i frowned. ouch...

"y-yeah..." Baekhyun looked like he was about to cry, and that's what he did. tears started running down his cheeks.

"shoot! i just remembered! mum is in the hospital!" Baekhyun yelled, forcing his way out. Taehyung frowned at the crying Baekhyun.

"why are you cryi-" before Taehyung could end his sentence, Baekhyun had left. i frowned again, looking at Jungkook who was staring at Taehyung with great passion in his eyes.

"Taehyung. i love you." Jungkook stared at Taehyung, who slowly turned around. his cheeks were tinted pink, the same with his ears and neck.

"i-i love you too..." Taehyung stuttered, hiding his face in his hands. i chuckled at his cuteness.

"thank you... Jungkook!" i smiled at him. he nodded at me with a small smile.

"so, about Baekhyun... just let him be, he needs some time for himself. he'll be fine, im sure he will." he is a strong guy.

Jimin's POV

"Mr Park Jimin?" i heard a voice behind me. i was about to answer my baby with an 'i love you' but i accidentally pressed the end call button. i cursed under my breath.

i was excited to see her again. she told me about how she hadnt seen her father in a long time- she wanted to find him.

so being that great boss i was, i started searching for him everywhere. i tried searching every region i had contact with, trying not to let Sang Ki know.

i turned around, to see a co-worker bringing a middle aged man into my office. my face brightened once i saw who it was.

sang ki looked just like him. the small, plump lips, the big eyes the, round cute nose. her father wasnt even old.

he was wearing formal clothes, his beard was shaved cleanly.

"ah!" i smiled brightly, my co-worker surprised by my bright unusual mood. "you must be Kim Jungseo?" i brought my hand out for a handshake, as he smiled and nodded. gosh, even the same smile.

"and you are Park Jimin, the CEO of this building?" he asked, his eyebrow rising up. i nodded, looking out of the enormous window in my office.

"i am. and i am also the boss of your daughter."
