August Pov

Ever since I got told that my nieces were in danger , I couldn't stay here in N.O no more .. I had to go , but i'll miss J too much . I almost admitted to her that I'm in love with her but I got the call. Was it a sign or something . never mind , .

"You girls ready?" I said to them they smiled and climbed into the back of the car , it's not that bad of a drive we have to take . Before we leave tomorrow morning I wanted to stop by J house . I need to talk to her . So I called her "Hey" she said all excited , "I'm on my way over" I tell her . "yea sure thanks for asking august." I smile "bye girl" and hang up. The girls look at me "uncle Aug .. whose this girl ?" KayKay asks me "She's a friend ," I smile "a very special friend " and we pull up into there driveway .

"Is she the one we met and Grandma's funeral" Mya asks me

I frown because of that day , I miss my mom a lot I miss her crazy text and her laugh I miss her .

We walk up to the door and knock on her door . She opens in sweatpants a shirt and her hair tied up . no make up , just how I like her . "Hey come in !" she says " you girls hungry I have snacks on the counter " she says and they run

"she's the best " kaykay says

"they need to date" Mya says

"She could be our auntie!" Chay says

Me and J laugh at what they say "CJ , come get a snack!" and he comes downstairs . "Hey guys!" he says running to the girls eating there snacks and having a conversation

"J .. there's something I have to tell you." she looks up from her nails concerned . "What's up?" she said coming on the couch by me . I rub the back of my neck and sigh. I grab her hand and bring her to her room. I softly close the door and sit down .

"I'm moving , me and the girls , were going to Georgia , Atlanta ." she started to cry

"when?" she says angrily

"tomorrow" she lays down on the bed and covers her face " why would u do that . you knew everybody in my life has left me all I have is u and CJ , you were there for me you always said you were I HA-" I cut her off with a kiss before she could say the word hate..

"And I want you and CJ to come with me " I said looking into her eyes .

J Pov

dude..

"What about the house the furniture I just can't up and leave like this August " he smiled "yes u can "

I turned around and looked at him "how?" he smiled I got the papers and stuffed saying u were moving , they're bringing your furniture to Georgia tomorrow and all the bills are paid for the rest of the month."

I stood there shocked ...

"how did they let you do that though u need my signature ."

he smiled " I put it on there , j , I was a drug dealer I'm pretty sure I'm past faking a signature " I was still confused . " I saw u put your signature at chuckie e. cheese " I nodded my head he's good . he's a keeper .

"wait use to be a drug dealer .. you quit?" I looked at him shocked "technically , yea it's putting my family in danger , I can't have nothing happen to my girls downstairs , they're my life . I'm my brothers keeper.."

he stood up walking towards me , "And also , J , I'm I love with you .. " I sat there dumb founded I didn't know what to do , I was wobbly in my knees! "u wha?" I said holding onto the wall.

"I'm in love with you J , your beautiful inside and out , your good with kids , your funny , strong women , I likes that . I thought you should know . But , Georgia or naw?" he said smiling . I jumped and hugged him "Georgia" i said in the crook of his neck.

August Pov

Before I left for Georgia .. I had to stop by my mom and brother grave. I sat there with the girls .. we just sat . They talked to their dad and grandma , no words were able to come out of my mouth. Just tears out of my eyes . J and CJ had decided to come which was good , I was happy I had somebody there to help me through this . "Thanks for being here for me J" I said not making eye contact "it means a lot " I added . she just hugged me as I just cried while hugging her.

"why me . where did I fck up to the point were niggas gotta take my family ? I asked her. she just rubbed my back . "I don't know what I did to deserves this my mom didn't need this neither my brother . " I said crying my eyes out! I started falling to the ground and J hugged me the whole way going down . "Shh" was all she said while comforting me .

The girls picked some flowers and put them on there dad and grandma's grave . "We love you" they said in unison . I smiled & stood . "C'mon girls long drive they smiled and ran to the car... " I love you guys" I said taking my two fingers kissing them and tapping them on both there grave stones . "watch over me " and J and I walk away.

"Mommy where we going" CJ asked me "Were going to a new house " he smiled big house . ?" I picked him up and kissed his cheek "big house " and we walked into my car to follow August to Georgia.

"Mommy can you turn it up " I turned up the radio and heard Augusts song on the radio . I called him to tell him .

"Yo, " he said

"Your song .. is on the radio" I said shocked . "Tell me something I don't know hun" and he hung up . he's a hand full. I'm happy he's doing something else besides drugs , he getting money in a good legal way. I smiled to myself seeing CJ almost asleep .

We were half way there and it's 2:30 in the morning , I'm about to fall asleep behind this wheel until i see August turn into a hotel I got super excited . "The cost is 450.00 sir" he hands the man money in cash .. wow I picked up CJ and Chay while August had Mya and KayKay , we walked into our room which was gorgeous , the only thing , me and August had to share a bed. ... alrighty then.

"CJ come on so we can get you changed . He slowly walked to me and I undressed him , you'll shower In the morning " I tell him and he puts the thumbs up and walks away.

"All the kids are asleep August says eating a granola bar" yea I said smiling at how cute they are . "You gorgeous" he says I blush and hide my face , he pulls my hands over to the bed "and I'm absolutely thankful that you were there for me earlier when I stopped by there grave sights , I needed somebody and you were there," I smiled "Thanks j" I smiled "Your welcome August , thank you for bringing me to Georgia ." I smiled and sat next to him "I didn't want to leave u in N.O with Ricky and how close we were , I didn't want to mess it up." I smiled and hugged him . "your the best" I smile and get under the covers . beside him .

I turn off the light and get comfortable , he turns and wraps his arms around me and snuggles his head in the crook of my neck

"goodnight August " I whisper and kiss his hand and play with his fingers until I fall asleep

I want to make us official , but I'm scared , I'm scarred for life from my last relationship ... ugh , thanks Ricky.
