Hard Times

Chapter 14

Bellamys POV
I walked into the girls cabin and saw that the lights were off. It was so dark that I couldn't even see my own hand. I heard the bed creek, meaning someone was on it. So I walked closer.

Raven said she was going to our cabin to see Murphy so I knew it had to be Clarke. I got on top of her. We were kissing but it didn't feel right, everytime I kissed her my heart sped up and it wasn't doing that anymore.

I heard someone come through the door and turn on the lights, I figured It was Murphy trying to bug us. "Dude get the fuck out, let us have privacy" I said. But then I heard a voice, and it wasn't Murphys. "WHAT THE FUCK?!" the voice yelled. I turned around and adjusted my eyes to the lights. I was in shock to realize the person yelling was Clarke.

I looked down to see who I had been kissing. It was raven, I jumped off the bed. Shit, what did I just do.

Clarke ran out of the door, i quickly went after her. "Clarke its not what it looked like!" i told her, she stopped and faced me. "Well it looked like my my best friend and my boyfriend were making out, so were my eyes playing tricks on me?"

She looked at me like she hated me and I didn't blame her. "Well yea, but its not what you think" a tear rolled down her cheek.

"You know what, it's my fault. I was so stupid for trusting you, and thinking you could actually love me. It's clear now that you just used me to get me to sleep with you." She started crying hard.

I felt like I had just got stabbed in the heart. It hurt me so much to know I was the reason she was crying.

We were talking so loud that students came out from there cabins to see what was going on.

Clarke started to run for the woods. "Princess stop" I pleaded and held her wrist to stop her. "Im not your princess anymore, and don't you ever touch me again ass hole!" she yelled.

When I still didn't let go of her wrist she punched me in the face so hard it caused me to fall into the snow. Damn she was strong. Then she ran into the woods. I wanted to follow her, but I knew she wouldn't talk to me and she deserved some time alone.

Clarkes POV
I sat on a tree stump and cried, I couldn't believe Bellamy would do something like that. I thought I knew him but I guess I was wrong.

I heard noices coming from the brushes and thought it was some type of animal so I started to panic. I was relieved when I saw that it was just finn. "Calm down, its just me. I came to see if you were ok, I saw what happened" he said and sat next to me.

"I'm fine" I told him lying, and wiped away my tears with my sleeve. "No your not wanna get away from here for awhile? No one will even know were gone." I thought about it for a minute

"You know what yea lets go" i said. We snuck to finns car and started driving "im really sorry about what happened at the halloween party i was just really drunk" he told me.

"its fine we all make mistakes" i said to him "so where are we going" i asked him "to a dinner to eat real food and not the shit at camp" he told me and laughed, i didn't understand why because it wasn't funny. We started eatting dinner and he tried to hold my hand i pulled it back. "I'm not trying rude finn but i just got cheated on i don't want to be in a relationship right now"

He went back to eating "yea i totally get it sorry" we ate in silence. Whatever was going on didn't feel right. I needed to get back to camp, even though i didn't want to see Raven or Bellamy right now. I took out my wallet "ill pay for dinner and im really tired maybe we should get back to camp" i said as i was giving the waitress my credit card.

He slapped my hand down before i could hand it to her "no ill pay and you wanna go back already i thought you were fun" i rubbed my arm which was red from him slapping me."I am fun so fine lets go" i wanted to say no but then i felt bad. We got back in the car and drove off.

Bellamys POV
It had been hours since Clarke off, i got a search party and we all looked in the woods for her but she was no where to be found and it was pitch black i got out my phone and texted her.

I was starting to get really worried i knew that even if Clarke hated us and didn't want to talk she would still make sure we knew she was ok. I decided to call the police and tell them she was missing, people thought it was a bad idea to bring the police into this because they thought that she just ran away but i knew Clarke wouldn't do that.

Murphy wouldn't talk to me after he figured out Raven and i kissed, my life was slowly falling apart. No one at camp would even talk to me the only person who did was Raven. she told me she thought i was Murphy and wouldn't do that to Clarke i nodded and went to Clarkes cabin to see if there was any clues.

I looked at the bottom of the bed and saw a glass jar, i got it out and saw a tag to me i turned the jar around and red the title 365 reasons why i love you. I couldn't Clarke would do that for me i didn't deserve her. I got out from under the bed and saw Clarkes phone on the night stand. I was extremely worried now, if she was in trouble she wouldn't be able to call anyone. I called the police to tell them she didn't have her phone and walked to my cabin with the jar in my hand.

Clarkes POV
We started driving and ended up at some beat up hotel "uh why are we here" i asked him."Well its pretty late and i don't want you to have to see that jerk" he told me. "Uh thats sweet but im fine i think we should go back to camp before anyone notices we're gone"

"Clarke can we please just stay here im really tired" he said sticking his bottom lip out. "fine lets go get a room" i said as i bit my nails something wasn't right but i didn't know what to do. We got a room and went inside, it wasn't the best room id seen but i wasn't complaining. i layed in bed and Finn lied next to me, he got closer and held my waist.

"Really Finn stop im not some object you can use im a person" i said and took a pillow. I went to the bathroom, locked the door and slept I'm the bath tub. I woke up the next morning and realised i left my phone in the cabin, i was just going to go to a gas station near by and call Murphy for a ride back to camp before they left i thought to my self so i wouldn't panic more than i already was.

I came out of the bathroom and ran to the door but it was locked. Finn appeared out of the corner "unluck the door Finn this isn't funny i wanna go home" i pleaded he laughed "i thought you were smarter then that Clarke don't you understand your never going home..."
