(Grey's POV)
Daniel and Sammy continued to play cars and Grey and Corrie sat down on the couch again. Corrie sighed. That had been quite the game of hide and seek, he thought. I wonder what was in that box... "Well?" Corrie said, patting his head. "Huh?" She giggled and rolled her eyes. "I said that we should play the game now." She said, grinning and holding her phone. Grey smiled back. He didn't usually play Battle Royale games, but whatever. He didn't care because he was playing with Corrie. He took out his phone and opened the app. "Yeah definitely!" They paired up and the game started. Corrie was telling him what to do since it was his first time. He had done pretty well for his first time. The conversation mostly went like this:
Corrie-"Ok jump out here! Now! Go into that house and get supplies. I'll get stuff then find a car. There's a guy, shoot at him!
Grey-"Where??"
Corrie-"No behind you! How can you not see him?! Bro! He's right there! SHOOT HIM YOU'RE DYING!!! DUUUDE!!"
Grey- "I'M TRYING BUT I CANT SEE HIM!"
Corrie-"HE'S BY THAT ROCK! NO THE OTHER ROCK!!!"
Grey-" I'M DYING CORRIE WHAT DO I DO?!"
Corrie- *shoots other guy"
Grey-"Okay now wh-" *gets shot from a different guy*
Corrie-"..."
Grey-"..."
Corrie-"..."
Grey"....WHAT THE F-"
Corrie- *Laughs hysterically*
Ok "he had done pretty well" had been a lie. He had died in the first few minutes. But Corrie got 21st place out of 100. She was doing well until she went too far outside the border on accident and died. They played a few more rounds until they got bored and just started talking. "Do you ever brush your hair?" Said Corrie, examining his tangled mass of dirty blonde curls. He thought for a minute. "Uh...yeah. In the morning and then at night, usually." She went to her purse and got a small hairbrush. She got on her knees on the couch and made him turn to the side. Corrie started brushing his hair, making it almost look decent. Corrie pet his hair for a minute. "Your hair is soft." She told him, smiling. He smiled back. Omigosh, he thought, she pet my hair and thinks it's soft. He looked at his phone-it was 4:14. He looked at her. "Sorry Corrie, me and Daniel have to go." Ugh, he thought, I want to stay forever. She pouted. "Aww. Okay. But you guys better come back soon." She said, as he grabbed his jacket. Don't worry I will, he thought to himself. "Sure. And by then, I'll be better at the game." He laughed, making finger guns. "Pshh pu-leez." She snorted, "There is a better chance of Daniel getting a survivor rank than you." She gave him a smirk and Grey drew a tear down his face with his finger. "You're right." She rolled her eyes and giggled. He called Daniel over and they waved goodbye.
