Corrie's POV
Corrie wasn't aware Grey had come in, her earbuds were in and she was half asleep. She jumped when she felt a hand on her arm. "Corrie?" He said. She yanked her earbuds out. "Jeez! Do you want to give me a heart attack?!" He laughed and she smiled, pausing the video and setting her phone to the side. "Er-Where's Ella and Emily?"
"Oh they can't come in, visiting hours aren't open for you yet. Only close relations." Then he leaned in and whispered "The nurse know Ella's not your cousin."Corrie laughed. "Darn. So why'd they let you in?" She blushed a little and laughed nervously. "Oh...well, heheh, I kind of said that...I was...your boyfriend?" He cringed a Little and Corrie stiffened, trying to contain her smile. Instead she laughed.
"Haha! Oh my god. Well, ok then 'boyfriend,' why did you choose to disrupt my YouTube time?" She smirked and tried not to squeal. He laughed. "I don't know, I didn't want you to be lonely, 'girlfriend.' Also guess what, the nurse said were a cute couple." He laughed and Corrie's eyes widened. She looked at him with her mouth wide open. "Noo! Really?!" She laughed. Inside she was happier than she's ever been. Then she thought back to the last time she was so happy inside.
Suddenly Corrie gasped loudly, making Grey jump. "JESUS FUCK! What?!" He almost yelled. Corrie burst out laughing and so did Grey. His nose crinkled up and so did his eyes, making an adorable expression that Corrie adored.
"I was going to say that I just remembered! Now we can't go to the movies on Saturday." She pouted. "Aww and I was looking forward to it. Sorry." Grey gaped. "Sorry? Bruh, its not your fault you got shot! Besides, we can have a movie night in your hospital room." He smiled. "You're right! And we can watch Heathers or Princess Bride or Monty Python oooor..."
"Ha, we can figure it out later C. Those are literally my favorite movies too."
"Yeah I know, mine too."They smiled at each other and Grey sat down at the chair next to her bed. They sat in comfortable silence, just enjoying each others' presence. At some point they started to watch YouTube together, and the time flied quickly before the nurse came in to tell Corrie her parents were here.
