Trigger Warning: Panic Attack
Dear Grey,
I love you. You calm me down. When I'm stressed I picture your face and your smile, and it makes me less anxious. Thanks.
Sincerely,
MeCorrie smiled. A tear dropped from her chin into the notebook paper, smearing the ink a bit. It was hard to breath. Tears slid down her face and she closed the notebook before the ink got any more ruined. She had just had a panic attack. She was so stressed, and she didn't know why. She had finished all her homework, her parents weren't fighting when she got home, she was looking forward to school.
Her stomach hurt, and her head was spinning. It felt like her heart had skipped a beat, and she found it hard to breath. She was hyperventilating quickly. She looked at her phone again. A selfie. A selfie of her and Grey at Ashland, when they went there for a school trip in 8th grade. His sweet goofy face, smiling beside her in front of the theatre. They were about to go see Macbeth.
She recalled how he nearly got kicked out when he yelled "Oh snap!" and then spilled his popcorn everywhere when the witches came on stage. She giggled softly at the memory. She wished with all her might he was there with her right now. Her phone made a soft quiet buzz and she looked down again. It was a text message-from Grey.
