(Grey's POV)
~Fast forward to Monday~
Grey woke up and pulled on green shorts and a pink floid T-shirt. He ate breakfast and biked to school with Emily. When he got to Mclatchey high school, Grey and Emily locked up their bikes.
As Grey walked to fourth period, he saw Nick and Kuyper. It looked like Kuyper had stolen Nick's hat and they were wrestling for it. Kuyper was a lot shorter than Nick, so he was mostly just dodging Nick's grabs for his hat. "Dude!" Said Kuyper, stopping for a minute and shoving Nick over. "So are ya gonna ask her?" He grinned and Nick grabbed his hat back as Kuyper was distracted and shoved him over. Kuyper fell down and laughed, hopping to his feet. Grey looked nervous. "Um...maybe. I don't know, have you guys seen her today? I think her next class is French." Nick adjusted his hat back into his head and looked around. "If her next class is French, she'll be going through this hallway." Kuyper tackled Nick and grabbed his hat, but Nick grabbed Kuyper's shirt and pulled him back, causing Kuyper to drop the hat. Grey picked it up and set it on his head, smiling. "I am now the hat king!" Grey claimed. Nick chuckled and grabbed it back. "As if." Nick said. Kuyper looked behind him, then back at Grey. "Dude! There she is!" Grey looked panicked for a minute. "Ok! Uh, how do I look?!" Kuyper looked Grey up and down. "Kinda like you've been in a fight with your three cats."
"I was gonna say he looked like he was in a tornado-car crash..." said Nick. Grey shrugged, "Good enough." He said, and started down the hall.
