(Grey's POV)

They got to the house and put the bikes in the garage. "Hey Corrie, you alright?" Asked Grey. She nodded. "'Cause you look kinda sick." She shook her head and shoved her hands in her pockets. "I'm fine..." she said, looking around the garage, avoiding Grey's eyes. Why is she acting weird?
They went inside and Grey opened the fridge, scanning over its contents. "Hungry?" He asked. Corrie got the homework out of her backpack and grinned. "Yeah I'm starved. I haven't eaten since...well, since lunch." She laughed. Grey looked in the fridge and back to Corrie. "What would you like?" Corrie shrugged. "I don't care. Fruit maybe?" Grey grabbed an apple. "Think fast!" He said and tossed it at her.
Corrie dropped the open pencil bag she had in her hands and caught the apple instinctively. Her eyes grew large and her mouth hung open. The contents of the pencil bag had spilled all over the floor. "Whoops. Sorry." Grey chuckled. Corrie stared at the apple then broke into a smile. "What?" Said Grey, walking over to pick up the pens and pencils. She stopped smiling and put the apple down. "Nothing. It's just that-nothing." She smiled a little to herself and helped Grey pick up the stuff she had dropped. What did I do? What was she smiling about?
After they put all the stuff back into her pencil bag, they sat at the table and ate their snacks. Grey had grabbed a bowl of Cheetos and Corrie was eating the apple, occasionally sneaking a Cheeto.  She helped him with math and science and they did the rest of their homework due tomorrow. They moved to the couch at one point and Corrie was reading some book called The Dark Is Rising because she was finishing it up for her book report. Grey didn't much like books, but Corrie really liked them. Sometimes she scolded him, saying he should read more. He liked it when she scolded him.
While she was reading, he looked up from his German homework to look at her. She was deeply absorbed in her book and don't notice him. He smiled and looked at her crazily wavy and slightly frizzy brown hair. It fell over her shoulders and a little in her face. She's so cute and pretty... He couldn't resist himself and got up and sat behind her. He started playing with her hair, teasing it and playing with it between his fingers. She laughed a little. "What are you doing?" She said, turning around with a grin on her face. He shrugged. "I don't know, I was bored." She rolled her eyes. "Well did you finish your German homework?" He pouted and raised his head. "Yes, actually." Corrie rolled her eyes again and shoved him a little. She put down her book. "I can finish later. Video game time?" She suggested. Grey smiled happily, finally something interesting.
They got out their phones and started playing. Surprisingly, Grey outlived Corrie. She sadly gave him slow applause. "I guess you have redeemed yourself." She said, patting his head. He continued to play and Corrie watched. He was second place, only him and one other person left. He saw the other person and crouched, putting the target on. The other person started shooting at him, and as he was about to shoot back-"AHH!" He yelled as Corrie tackled him in a hug, throwing them both to the floor. He quickly looked at the screen. He had died. He had died, and gotten second place. She let him go, and stood up laughing hysterically. He opened his mouth wide, then closed it, and opened it again. "Wha-why- you-Dude!" He said and sat on the couch, defeated. She laughed. "I couldn't let you win now could I?" Corrie snorted. "No way! You'd hold that over me for ever and never let it go!" Grey rolled his eyes and smiled. "Ugh. Fine, but did you have to?" Corrie smiled, knowing she had won. "Yes, yes I did."
