Someone else's POV?? WHAAAT?! Yes readers, I do have the skill to change up the points of view...
Ella's POVElla sat next to Corrie as they sped along in the ambulance. She looked down at her bloodied best friend sadly, tears falling rapidly from her red and puffy eyes. Ten EMTs had put stuff and a patch on the wound to help it stop bleeding, and also hooked her up to something to help her breath better. "I'm sorry..." Ella whispered. "I'm sorry I couldn't help save you from getting hurt. Now you-you might..." she burst out sobbing again.
She remembered how Grey had held her friend in his arms and whispered something to her. She remembered how he had cried over her. Ella had never seen Grey cry before. She remembered gasping when he stood up for the EMTs to take Corrie away because his clothes were covered in blood. She looked down at Corrie and chuckled, tears still falling. "Grey must really like you. H-he was the first one to get to you. He must really love you. I bet he'll come visit you at the hospital. Maybe he'll bring you flowers." She chuckled softly and sadly again.
Ella looked down and studied Corrie more closely. She was pale, maybe from loss of blood, and her frizzy hair was a mess. Her chest rose and fell softly, each time it did the machine her oxygen mask was connected to made a little whoosh sound. "I love you, girl. You're my best friend no matter what. I-I'll visit you at the hospital everyday, and-" the ambulance came to a quick stop. They were at the hospital. The EMTs opened the door and pulled the stretcher out, a kind blonde doctor lady taking Ella's hand and helping her down and out of the vehicle. "Sweetie, do you need to call your parents and tell them where you are?" Shoot. I forgot about that. "Uh, yeah, just a minute."
She ran and followed the stretcher, running with them till they came to a waiting room area outside Corrie's room. "Honey, wait here and call your parents ok? I'm sorry but you can't come any farther. Have a seat." Said the nice blonde lady again. Ella sat down and pulled her phone in, wiped her eyes, and called her mom. Ring. R- "OMIGOSH SWEETIE ARE YOU OK I HEARD THERE WAS A SHOOTING IM ALREADY ON MY WAY TO YOUR SCHOOL I-" her mom said loudly and quickly. "Mom!" Yelled Ella, hands shaking. Her mom went quiet. "I'm fine. But Corrie got shot..."
"WHAT?! Omigod honey I'm so sorry."
"I'm at the hospital. I rode with her in the ambulance."
"IM ON MY WAY."
She could here a screech on the other line and her mom hung up, probably after taking a massive U-turn to go back to the freeway. She put her phone in her purse, and noticed small flecks of blood on her hand and pant legs for the first time. Must have been when I was kneeling by Corrie. She waited for a few more minutes, then put in her earbuds and closed her eyes, trying to calm down and not have a massive panic attack. Music helps her avoid panic attacks when she can see them coming, something Corrie and her had in common. Have. She instructed herself opening her eyes. It's something we have in common. She closed her eyes once again and listened to her Hamilton and Imagine Dragons playlist. She must have listened to half the playlist and was about to fall asleep when she was jolted awake by a tap on her shoulder. It was Grey and Emily.
