(Corrie's POV)
Corrie sat under her bed (she has a bed with a cupboard door on the end that open into half of the bottom of her bed and she hides out in there sometimes) watching YouTube. She got bored and got out her notebook.
~Flashback~
"You soo like Grey!" Teased Ella. Corrie rolled her eyes. "I so do not!" She protested. It was 6th grade and her friends were once again saying she liked Grey. They were all at Sophie's house for a birthday sleepover, and they were playing truth or dare. The way they play is, they all write two truths and two dares and put them all in a hat, and a person blindly chooses. On the truths they all usually answer, and right now the question Corrie got was "if you had to marry someone from your class who would it be." Corrie had said Grey only because he's really nice, funny, and likes Hamilton, just like her. There wasn't really a huge selection of great guys in her class, and she said he was the nicest of all of them. Her friends always teased that she liked him, but she only like him as a friend.
~Fast forward to 7th grade~
Corrie and her friends were all at Ella's house for her 13th birthday sleepover. They were playing truth or dare, and Corrie had picked out the question "who would you want your first kiss to be with and why?" Ella smirked and said, "Corrie would definitely choose Grey." Corrie nodded, blushing a bit, "Yeah, I would." All her friends smirked, with their 'I totally knew it' faces. Corrie had been crushing on Grey for a month only, but she had started writing imaginary letters to him. She felt like she had never loved anything or anyone more, and that she would die for him. She would do anything for that goofy smile and messy hair. Anything for that perfect laugh, and that adorable face. It felt like he was her whole world.
~Fast forward to 8th grade~
It was lunch time at school. Grey had been sitting at their table recently, and Corrie most definitely didn't mind. She couldn't really concentrate on eating, though. She was sitting near the end of the table with Ella across from her. Grey had a trey of food and walked a little past them, then backed up. He was on Ella's side of the table, and said, "I wanna sit next to Ella." Ella smiled and laughed. "Okaaaay...?" He then did an awkward maneuver where he sat down, got up, half sat down, and got up, as if he wasn't quite sure that's where he wanted to sit. Ella finally said, "Omigosh just sit somewhere!" Grey finally walked across and sat next to Corrie. Inside she was squealing. They laughed and talked about video games, chicken, etc. They had science together after lunch, and as usual Grey was finishing science homework he didn't do the night before. "Greeyy..." Corrie sighed, playing with his messy hair. "Again? You better hurry." He smirked. "No," he answered "I had to go to laser tag yesterday." She rolled her eyes. "Instead of homework?" He looked sheepish and chuckled nervously. He hadn't eaten lunch because it was terrible. (The school lunch always was.) Corrie gave him half her sandwich. "Do you ever brush your hair?" She teased. She pulled out a hairbrush and brushed his hair. "There." He turned around and touched her hair. He grinned. "You had some pollen in your hair."
