(Corrie's POV)
Ps Sorry for the super long wait.
Corrie woke up and nudged the sleeping Grey in the chair next to her. It was now night time, and they probably brought net dinner and just didn't wake her up because a tray of cold food sat on the bedside table. "Huh? Wha?" Said Grey sleepily, eyes half open. Corrie rolled her eyes. "Greeeeyy?" She asked, shaking his shoulder. He opened his eyes and smiled tiredly. "What is it?" He asked, sitting up.
She pointed to the food. "Hungry?" His face lit up, but he looked back at her. "Uh-no, you sh-should eat it. It's yours and you need food." She rolled her eyes. "No der, I'm starving! We can split it." She whispered. He laughed softly and agreed so she split her not-half-bad sandwich, cold bread, and pudding. Once they were done eating, Corrie thought in silence for a minuet. "Grey, I think I left my backpack and shit at school. Dang it! My purse too! With my phone in it!" Grey laughed and put a hand on her shoulder, making tingles go up her spine. "It's fine! I think Sophie grabbed your purse." Corrie sighed. Grey looked at his phone and handed it to Corrie. It was a text from Emily.
Emily- Hey dude. I picked up Sammy, and we got ice cream. I didn't want to take him to the hospital to see Corrie yet, cuz it might be a bit of a shock to see her like that ya know? Well, I took him to our house for a sleepover with Danny. I told him Corrie had an accident at school and she was at the hospital but I didn't tell him exactly. K?
Grey- K. (This is Corrie btw) Thanks a lot Emily.
Emily- No prob! I legit owe you so much.
Corrie- No way. You've done enough. Thanks again
Emily- And thank you for saving me. ❤️
Corrie- ❤️
Corrie put the phone down and relaxed. They sat in silence like that for awhile. Not awkward silence, just comfortable silence. Until Corrie spoke up. She giggled softly. "Grey?"
"Hm?"
"Guess were gonna have to postpone our movie night?" She gave him a sideways smiled and he looked at her for a minute then laughed. "I-yeah I guess so. We can always watch a movie in here." He suggested. Corrie nodded.
