XXXI CHAPTER: PARTY POOPERS AND JOKE BUMMERS

My dad and Jülien wanted to stay in town, because they do not want to bother us at all. But Jay and I insisted they should come with us and join the young ones on a road trip to Miami to watch the best boy-band ever perform at the Miami Beach Hotel, and will stay at my dad's beach house the rest of the weekend, which is an absolute accomplishment. Which also signifies a perfect birthday for me. Sounds totally AWESOME!

We all have packed our stuff and it seems this will be the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER for me. And for my guests as well! We are ready for this adventure, even though I still do not know what is going to happen with Nova and I. But at this point, who knows, right?

Dad and my uncle took another car, "so the young ones can be free of doing whatever we want." Being that possible in a twenty-one hour trip, surrounded by my friends and my brother. The only thing I really want to do is to listen to my favorite band. Perhaps our designated driver can help me with that too, so I will have a pleasant ride.

THE NEXT DAY, we got to the beach house with a few hours ahead to the main activity of the night. The weather is totally cool and I sense the breeze like I used to when my mother was alive. This view of the Atlantic Ocean flowing and waving in front of my eyes, gives me the best memories of my childhoods vacationing with my entire family. I truly miss mom right now! She is the only one missing in the family portrait.

My temper was from a badass who kills it, to the melting heart dying with the past of this unforgettable tragedy. Tragic as my tragic diary with Nova Waltz, who by the way, was the only one who noticed I was crying over the shores, when she came looking for me, to get to the backyard to eat lunch.

She dared to ask about my tearing moment and as I thought, she offered me her, shoulder (help) and support to get through this awful loss. It is great to feel her as my friend. She is the first and only girl-friend (girlfriend) I have ever had and at this precise instant, she has been very gentle. We took a moment to put myself together again before we showed up with the rest of the group.

It was not that obvious for them that I cried just a couple of minutes ago, Nova and I made a fantastic job putting that aside. Yet, I needed to keep my posture and enjoyed the 'Out of This World' days in Miami. I am among my favorite people in the entire planet, in one of my favorite places on the surface of the earth, also, just few hours before my favorite bands concert.

Whatsoever, we relaxed for the rest of the afternoon, and after choosing our outfits for the evening, we went out to be prepared for the event of the night. It is great to share experiences like these with these unbelievable people. Miami has the best spaces to gather and have a good time.

AFTER SOME DRINKS, we were SO ready for the We the Kings concert VIP area, backstage tickets and the greatest seats in the entire place! The only way you appreciate the geniuses behind the voices and instruments.

It was a 360° stage, so everybody can see their faces. The sound was amazing! With Dolby Surround 3D. Their songs were the perfect way to end a fabulous birthday. They have 3 albums and I have just a few songs stuck in my head, my favorite ones I must say. They play them randomly, so we are so lucky to hear them tonight.

'Check YES Juliet!' is on the top of my list. And they sang it at the end of the night. What A WAY to finish with a flourish a PERFECT NIGHT! It was more shocking to see Nova on stage with them to play it especially for me, as a birthday present. Yep, another one from her!

She has the most idyllic voice EVER! She sings almost as well as Taylor Swift. Honestly, she reminds me of her in so many ways. She is very deep, emotional, sensitive, attentive, so passionate and beautiful and the most romantic person I have ever met! This is how most of the world interprets TS. Besides, she does not give anything to guess, because she is truly herself when her mother is not around.

Basically, she looked straight to my eyes when the lyrics: "DON'T sell your heart, DON'T say we're NOT meant to be, run baby run, forever will be, YOU AND ME!" Came up in the middle of the song. The entire melody was a proposal. I was totally blushing. Besides, the guys made me got up on stage and sang 'Happy Birthday' just for me, this thing made my whole year, my night was blossoming.

AFTER THE CONCERT, we went to eat something at this Cuban restaurant with the members of the band. We got backstage tickets after all. Yummy food all over the place, and the best in Caribbean music to dance to and have fun with, in a town where you never sleep! They are awesome and very sweet people, very humble and hilarious when they talk about random stuff. Very easy to get along with.

One of them was flirting with Nova. It was way too awkward to see him trying to get closer, even though she has been obviously making him back off. She is NOT interested! What part of "She is NOT THAT into you" does he not understand?! I am getting tired and probably sick, too (out of jealousy). So, I asked the guys to leave. Besides it is getting late.

In the car, I was totally quiet. Giving nothing away! I am NOT in the mood to talk at all, especially about what happened in the restaurant. Maybe because I was jealous as hell with those two getting along together extremely well in front of my face. This is not the BEST way to end the best night of my life.

WE GOT HOME, so I immediately went upstairs to prepare myself for sleep. I was not that sleepy though, I did not want to stay awake to give explanations or even say anything to make me admit I love Nova to pieces. That is not what I want them to know, even if they have a clue of my feelings already.
