>> maybe i'll become a beautiful monster, a heartless creature <<

[ANGEL]

The room was absolutely gorgeous. The walls were all white with small paintings of flowers decorating the walls. There was a mini chandelier hanging from the center ceiling of the room. The bed was placed up against the middle of the wall. It had a black comforter on top along with some white and grey pillows. There was a small, black bedside table on the left of the bed. Across from the bed was a huge dresser and next to that a white door which I guessed was a closet.

I took slow steps, deeper into the room.

"Beautiful isn't it?" I heard Johanna ask behind me.

I nodded my head and let out a breath. "This is where I'm staying?"

"Mhm. Look..." Johanna pointed to the dresser and door next to it. "The dresser and closet are already filled with lovely clothes for you!" excitement lingered in her voice. I shared a smile with her.

"There's a small balcony out there." She pointed to a glass door I hadn't noticed.

"Everything you'll need is already here for you, dear. Also the bathroom is the door right across from the hallway." I nodded.

"Thank you, Johanna." I took another glance around the room and no matter how amazing it was, I still missed my old apartment. It was nothing compared to this room, let alone this house, but it was still my place. I felt my smile fade slightly and I'm guessing Johanna noticed.

"Are you alright, dear?" She seemed worried. I couldn't quite put my finger on why I had already felt so comfortable around her, but I'm glad I did because I needed someone to talk to.

"I just miss my home..." My voice came out soft.

Her eyes changed to show an emotion of awe. "I'm sure you do sweetie, but I'm also sure that soon enough you'll be free again."

"You know he kidnapped me?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

She sighed, sounding disappointed. "I know what he's capable of... I've known him since he was a little boy and I saw him grow up. I also know that whatever he does isn't entirely his fault."

I now felt even more confused then I had before. What is she talking about?

"What do you mean it's not his fault?" I was desperate for some answers.

"Well..." She looked nervously at the open door that could allow full access to anyone. She rushed to it and closed it. Walking back to me she continued.

"... Let's just say that he had a rough childhood. He claims that he's not able to control his demons sometimes." She said almost rolling her eyes.

I nodded my head while keeping my eyes down. I somewhat understood but my curiosity was growing and I had to figure out more. This man that took me away from everything I had ever known was now the main focus of my curiosity.

Before I could ask anymore questions Johanna spoke up, "Well, dear I have to go back down to finish up breakfast. I'll call you down when it's ready." She winked started heading for the door.

As she was about to open the door she stopped and turned around again. "Harry informed me to tell you that the door at the end of the hallway and the hallway passed the large window are off limits."

Now I was even more intrigued.

"Mm okay. Thank you Johanna." I smiled and soon she was out the room.

My suspicion only began to grow more and more when she told what was off limits. Was he trying to hide something? What's behind that door? What's in the other hallway?

I sat on the edge of my bed nervously tapping my foot on the floor, debating whether I should try to investigate or not. After a couple seconds I made a quick decision and thought that I'd probably regret it later but I ignored that thought. I got up and made my way to the bedroom door. Slowly turning the knob, I peeked out to make sure no one was around.

I stepped out, quietly closing the door behind me. I turned my body to face the direction of the wall and felt my heart race a little faster. The door was slightly bigger than the ones around it, causing any attention to immediately go to this one. I sucked in a breath and headed for the door.

Once I was at good distance, I reach my hand out and placed it on the knob. I took my bottom lip in my teeth as I felt the coldness from the metal knob on my hand. I nervously looked the door up and down before finally deciding to turn it.

As I carefully turned the knob I was disappointed to find that it was locked. Shock, disappointment and a bit of anger took over me as I kept trying to turn the door knob open. I finally accepted that it wouldn't open and I let out a huff.

I let my arms fall to my sides in frustration. Not so long after doing so, I felt a hot breath behind my ear. My body quickly stiffened and my heart started slamming against my chest.

"Look what we have here." Harry's voice was low and dark but I could practically feel the smirk on his lips.

I didn't dare to move hoping maybe that this was all a dream and I would wake up soon, but boy was I wrong.

His fingers traced designs on my bare arms, sending chills through me and making me suck in a harsh breath.

"Looks like someone decided to be a bad girl and try to invade other's privacy." I could tell we was enjoying this by how dark his voice sounded.

He swiftly turned me around so that I was now facing him. Due to the poor lighting I couldn't make out much of his face. I didn't know whether I was thankful for that or not. I felt tears form in my eyes and threaten to fall.

I heard him grunt and he pushed me up against the wall next to the mysterious door.

It's like the first time I met him.
