>> your eyes keep pulling me in, ain't enough for the taking <<

[HARRY]

"Do you think it was James who was in the black car outside your house?" After Angel stormed off, Louis and I continued our conversation about the whole James situation.

I huffed leaning back in my chair, "Definitely. Hand me that." I pointed over to the small table with an assortment of different sized glasses filled with alcohol. He looked at me before rolling his eyes and pouring the both of us some scotch. I desperately took the glass and held it in my hand.

"I don't understand what he wants, why won't he just leave things alone?" I gulped down the entire drink all at once.

"Well, according to the note he left you, you ruined his life." Louis shrugged.

"I fired him," I corrected. "And within good reason. Plus that was years ago."

"I know, mate," He muttered.

I brought my hand up to ruffle my already messy hair and then rest my elbows on the surface of the desk with my forehead on the palms of my hands. There were so many thoughts and questions speeding around in my head, I couldn't even comprehend.

"Are you thinking about Angel?" Louis' voice was soft, like a mumble, but my head still snapped up at his question and her name. I blinked a few times as my eyebrows slowly started coming together. I parted my lips to say something but nothing came out, I didn't know how to respond. Just a simple thought of her had me all wrapped up, I couldn't even speak.

He sighed, "What's going on with you two?"

"N-nothing," I shook my head and tried looking him in the eye but failed. He came closer to my desk, "Harry," he said more sternly. I looked down at my hands and started fidgeting with my rings, still not being able to answer him.

I felt his gaze burn through me and that's when I knew he realized what was going on between Angel and I. He sighed, "Okay," He sounded disappointed. He placed the glass he was holding onto my desk and turn around, opening and closing the door, to leave me alone in my office.

I sat there thinking about Angel, there's nothing there... I can't have feelings for her.

I got up, adjusting my suit, and made my way up the stairs to go to my bedroom. As I walked down the quiet hall, I couldn't help but stop in front of Angel's bedroom door. I stared at it for a couple seconds with nothing but her beautiful face consuming my thoughts. I got close enough to put my hand on the metal knob and my ear up against the wood. Silent.

My curiosity got the best of me and I slowly opened the door, it creaking a bit and making me regret doing this. But all of that went away when I saw her peaceful state sleeping away on the bed. Her small body was curled up under the blankets and she looked so tiny on that huge bed.

I took a few steps closer, leaning my back against the wall as I looked at her. What are you doing to me? I can definitely say I've never felt this way before about anyone, I've never been this confused. Maybe I have feelings for her... Fuck sake.

[ANGEL]

Rays of sunlight came in through the balcony windows and hit my face, causing me to stir around on the bed as I rubbed the sleepiness out of my eyes. Once I finally decided to get up, I walked past the dresser only to freeze when something caught my eye. I turned around to get a better look this time, there was a baby yellow dress hanging off the handle of the dresser with a note on it that read :
