[HARRY]

"The campaign shoot is tomorrow and we're still one model short. You said you'd find a way to take care of this." Louis nagged on.

I huffed, "I know what I said, damn it! Just let me figure it out." I leaned back in my black leather chair trying to avoid any eye contact with Louis.

"For fucks sake mate, just pick another random one from the list of ones you dismissed." My breathing was getting harder as I was trying to stay patient with him. After I shut my eyes and didn't respond to him the room got quiet until a couple minutes when he finally decided to leave and I heard the door open and shut behind him.

I stared off at the skyline, as it was already late at night, my mind deserted besides the thought of Angel. When Louis bugged me about needing that one last model it crossed my mind that it was possible that I left that spot for Angel... but there's no way I would admit that, not even to myself.

I took the glass of wine that sat on the surface of my desk and desperately swallowed it down.

[ANGEL]

"Goodbye, Johanna." I pulled away from our warm hug as she walked out the front door, smiling back at me, and disappeared down the street. I gently closed the door and walked back into the kitchen to finish up the dinner Johanna had prepared for me. I sat down on the bar stool and picked up my fork, dragging it over the food before picking some up.

As I was going to place the food in my mouth, the front door opened and shut causing me to panic a bit when I realized it was Harry arriving back from work. No, don't be nervous around him. There's no reason to let him get to you.

I stayed seated choosing that I wouldn't let him get to me from now on and straightened my posture. He walked into the kitchen, obviously not expecting me to be in here when his eyes widen before looking me up and down. I was wearing a tank top and some jean shorts causing me to feel a little uncomfortable when he eyed me that way. I glanced at him over my shoulder to see that he was wearing a pinstriped suit with a cropped blazer and tight pants that hugged him perfectly. His hand was over his shoulder, holding two zipped up clothing bags.

My face remained expressionless when I turned back around and simply said, "Johanna left you some food in the microwave." From the corner of my eye I could see him walk over to the edge of the counter, placing a hand down on the marble surface, his hand only inches from mine.

"I'm not hungry." He shook his head.

"Okay," I furrowed my eyebrows, like I care. I looked back down at my plate, lazily moving the food around with the fork until I realized how silent it had gotten and Harry had been staring at me intently. My light brown eyes met with his jade ones that now had flakes of a darker green unlike before. I rolled my bottom lip in between my teeth as I waited for him to say something rude or at least leave.

"C'mon." He ordered and walked out the kitchen. I released my bottom lip from the grip my teeth had on it and followed behind him but kept a safe distance.

I expected him to turn right when we reached the top of the steps but instead he turned left, catching me by surprise. I hesitated as I remembered that the only thing down this hall is the stair case that leads up to the forbidden door on the third floor. I slowed down my pace behind him when a frenzy of dread washed over me. Will he finally show me what's behind that door?

I was brought out of my thoughts when I accidentally bumped into his strong back when he stopped in front of the door. He turned to look at me as I mumbled an apology before he faced the door again. His hand hovered over the the door knob before I stopped him out of fright.
