Chapter 10 (Gift)

Karin's POV

"What you got there?" someone asked me and it was Kenzou-san. "It's a gift." I answered. "I might can't attend Asuna-chan's birthday party tomorrow." he sighed. "Why?" I asked

"I have a mission. I feel bad, it's my first time to miss her birthday. I hope that she won't be mad at me." he bit his bottom lips. I patted his back, "I think she will understand your reason. You'll be gone for how long?" I questioned.

"I'll be gone for a week, starting tomorrow." he answered and sighed once again. I feel really bad, what if Asuna will be mad to Kenzou-san?

"Just go and talk to Asuna. Maybe.. You will convince her, since..that you two are very close." I faked a smile. I feel jealous about the closeness of Kenzou-san and my daughter. I am her mother but we are not that close.

"Don't think about your problems too much. You're just stressing yourself." he said before he left me. I just shrugged and I continue to prepare my gift to Sarada-chan.

Asuna's POV

I think you already know my name, right? So, I don't need to introduce who I am.

"There's something weird about mom that we didn't know. I can sense it." I whispered under my breathe. "Yo, Asuna-chan." someone approached me, no other than.. Uncle Kenzou.

"Hey.." I replied. "Something wrong, lil girl?" he asked while patting my head. "Nothing, uncle. I was just worried about mom.. She's acting weird since I turned four." I sighed. "I think that your mom is having some problem about which school you will go?" uncle Kenzou said.

"Maybe... Who knows?" I bit my lower lips. "Asuna-chan, I might can't attend your birthday for tomorrow." he said. "I understand, uncle Kenzou. You have a mission for a week? Am I right?" I said. "Y-yeah.." he breathed out.

"I will let you go... But! You need to pay about not attending my birthday." I simpered. "Sure, lil girl. What is your request then?" he questioned. "I want you to train me! I really want to enhance my skills." I exclaimed.

"As you wish." he smiled and he pat my head. "Well then.. I need to get ready. Advance happy birthday, lil Uchiha." he said before he left. "Thank you." I whispered.

"Here you are, Asuna-chan. How are you, sweetie?" dad Suigetsu asked. "I'm fine, dad." I answered. "I am just going to Konoha to hand this present for Sarada." he said. "I have a present for her too! Just wait here, dad and I'll get it." I protested.

"Hand this to her also, dad." I smiled. "Of course, I will!" he answered. "What does Sarada looks like?" I questioned suddenly. "She looks like....both of her parents being mixed together?.." dad answered.

"Oh, that's fantastic! Do I look like mom, also?" I asked smiling brightly. "W-well.. Yeah, I guess?" he stuttered. "Eh? You okay, dad?" I asked being curious on how he acted. "Yes! I am okay. I should get going now." he bid goodbye and he left.

"What is wrong with them?" I breathed heavily. "Well, I'll just read some books." I shrugged. I walked heading on the library. Instead of reading books, I saw something under the bookshelf.

"Hm? What's this?"
