Sarada's POV
It's been two hours and we couldn't find Asuna. I know that she's good at this game but this is absurd! We've been looking for her everywhere but she's not here.
Uncle Kenzou already bid their goodbyes with us awhile ago with those two lovebirds.
"Where is she?!" Boruto scowled. "Patience, Boruto. We'll find Asuna right away." Mitsuki said using his soft yet calm tone.
It's already passed lunch. I really have a bad feeling about this. I bet papa is also looking for us now. Where are you, Asuna?
"I'm hungry!!" Boruto said with a pout. "Quit complaining and just go home! Mitsuki and I will look for Asuna instead!" I uttered out of anger.
"H-hey.. That's not what I meant, Sarada." Boruto stuttered.I breathed out heavily, "what do you mean by that then?!"
He just remained silent after that. I just shook my head and we continue to look for my sister. Not until an unexpected guest came. I felt nervous all of the sudden.
"Where's your twin?" it was papa who came.
"Still looking for her."
He gave me an arched look like he's doubtful again, "it's passed time for lunch but you are still playing."
"W-we didn't get to see the time because.. we are still feeling the fun." Boruto said.
"I'll look for her." Mitsuki stated before parting his way from us. "Sure!" I mumbled.
"What's going on here? I know that something is up." papa spoke, "Asuna never let you skip meals."
I tried my best to act calm but I still needed to swallow the lump in my throat.
"Calm down, papa. Everything is fine," I paused, "Asuna is really good at hiding that we can't caught her on time."
"Stop playing around, Sarada. Just tell me what is happening."
"Nothing much. Just playing."
"Sarada."
"What?"
"I saw Asuna's kunai dropped behind the bushes!" Mitsuki yelled.
"Okay.. that's odd. Asuna never drop her things especially when it comes to her kunai." Boruto murmured.
"Go back inside the village. I will look for her instead." papa stated.
Anxiousness came over me, "I-I'll help you, papa."
"No need. Just do what I said." he came near me to caress my face. "Be with your mama, she'll be worried for sure."
I just nod my head head and let Boruto lead my way home. My mind is blank at the moment. I don't even know what thesw two were talking about. I can't figure anything but to be worried about Asuna not being around.
"Sarada!" I felt mama hugged me as soon as they let me enter our house. "Are you okay?"
"Y-you're squishing me, m-mama."
"I'm sorry!" she quickly pulled away, "where's your twin?"
"Papa is looking for her now." as I said those words my tears suddenly fell.
"I'm sorry.. I failed to realize that she's missing. I'm sorry.."
"Sarada..." mama wiped my tears, "listen, don't you ever blame yourself. We will find her right away, okay? What matters for now is you are safe."
"But, mama! Asuna isn't! How can you say those words as if she doesn't belong again!"
"That is not what I meant, Sarada. I just want us to be calm."
"She's in danger mama... she needs us."
She caged me in her arms once again, "I know.. can we just remain calm until papa gets back?"
When I looked at mama, I saw her tears were already streaming down on her face. I felt like I was stabbed at that scenerio.
I'm sorry, mama...
We remained like that until papa came back, running his own breath.
"Papa.."
"Anata.."
"Did you find Asuna?" we both asked in unison to papa.
He was silent for a minute then he finally spoke with his serious face.
"I can't find her."
