Chapter 34 (Reunite)

Sasuke's POV

Hearing Asuna saying mama to Sakura made me happy. She is giving us a chance to reunite with her real family.

"Thank you." I mumbled with a small smile, "for accepting us again."

"I'm really sorry for hurting you like that, Asuna. Let papa make it up to you." she just nod with a small smile on her face as her tears starts to fall.

"Mama! Papa!" Sarada came panting, "I heard Asuna shouting, is everything all right?"

"Yes, sweetie. Everything is fine." Sakura said using her happiest tone. "I'm glad." Sarada felt relieved when Sakura replied.

"Ahm, is Asuna going home with us or she'll stay with aunt Karin like what she used to do?" she asked worried.

I answered her question to make her feel better, "she's going home with us. We will tell everyone that Asuna is part of our family."

"Really?!" she said in happiness and I nod at her. She then went to Asuna and she hugged her tight. "Thank you, Asuna. Thank you so much for giving our family a chance. We won't disappoint you this time, onee-chan."

"Y-yeah.." that's was all she said before breaking their hug. I felt that something is wrong with Asuna. Her movements are strange. It's like she's getting weak.

"Are you alright, Asuna?" I asked as I hold her shoulder and looked at her directly to her eyes. "Yes, Un—p-papa. I'm okay. Asuna is okay." she mumbled.

"Let's go and have a final talk to them before we take our leave." I informed them and the four of us headed to where Karin and her friends were as we held our hands altogether.

This feeling is really new to me. It feels like my body is being filled a new bucket of happiness inside me. I don't regret any of this. I'm contented having them as my family.

I was surprised when Karin suddenly hug Asuna while crying when we get there.

"I'm sorry, Asuna. I'm really sorry for everything! Please forgive me, Asuna. P-please.. Forgive mom for what she had done to you, sweetie." Asuna froze from where she is standing.

"Karin, that's enough for now. Let's discuss about Asuna right here, right now." I said using my firm voice. I felt Sakura gently squeeze my hand causing me to look at her.

She smiled at me with worry all over her face. I held her hand tighter with a smile on my face reassuring her that everything will be fine.

Asuna was the first one to break their hug. As of now, she just remain silent. I understand her situation for now so I won't bother her for the meantime.

"What are we going to talk about Asuna?" Karin asked as she wipe her tears.

"We need a paper that confirms that Asuna Uchiha is our daughter. Sakura and I planned to introduce Asuna in Konoha as our long lost daughter. She will now live with us in Konoha. She can now live a normal life and not being hidden to anyone now."

"Will we still get to see her?" Suigetsu asked. "We don't mind hanging out with our daughter as long as she's inside the Konoha having fun there." Sakura replied.

"I'll agree then. I won't complain anything because I don't have the right to own Asuna. I'm just her not related by blood mom." Karin said. "Kenzou, get the papers that Asuna needs before she leave. Sui, go pack Asuna's clothes and things." she added.

The two did what Karin asked them to do. She looked at Asuna again with her sad emotion. Then she went to her knees and continue to apologize again.
