Chapter 18 (Pair)

Asuna's POV

"I don't know them, sweetie." mom answered me but there's some part of me that I'm not convinced at her answer. "Oh, thought you know them." I uttered.

"Mom, can you go back tomorrow and be with me for the whole night?" I asked innocently. "Do you miss me already, sweetie?" a spark showed on her eyes with a bright smile of hers.

"W-what? No!" I frowned. "Sweetie, I know you. You're turning like a blossom it means being shy again." mom chuckled and I just looked at her as my mouth was a bit open. She pinched the tip of my nose.

"Mom! Will you please stop pinching my nose while I'm thinking?" I complained. I hate being treated this way! I'm not a child anymore!

"I'll cook for our dinner and for our breakfast tomorrow morning after that I'll go back to the hideout." she said and we just nod. "Kenzou, thank you for taking care of Asuna." she added.

"Anything to Asuna-chan." he said with a smile. "Is there anything I can help with cooking?" he added. "Just sit with Asuna. I'll take care of everything in the kitchen." mom insisted. "Okay." he sighed and sat on the sofa.

"How's your day, little girl?" he asked me when mom headed in the kitchen. "Good." I answered. "You sure? 'think its not." he mumbled. "Don't think 'bout me, uncle Kenzou, I'm fine." I uttered.

"I won't be here tomorrow.. I need to train myself in the woods." I said. "Don't tell mom about it." I added. "You can count on me everytime." he said and I smiled at him.

After a long chitchat with uncle Kenzou, mom finally showed up in front of us saying, "Dinner's ready." with a smile on her face.

"Sha-- finally." I stuttered. I've been saying 'shanarō' since I get here. "Asuna-chan." uncle called my name and I just looked at him. "You keep saying shanarō since we got here."

"You knew?" I was surprised. I thought he didn't know about it. "I ain't that stupid, Asuna-chan." he smirked. "We'll discuss about this when your mom gets back in the hideout." he added and I just nod.

I enjoyed the dinner that mom cooked and after that I get myself ready to sleep. "Asuna-chan, can mom sleep beside you? I missed you so much." mom said. "Of course." I agreed. "How's your study here?" she asked while we're preparing our bed.

"It's good. Everything is going well and I already have friends." I answered. "R-really? Can you tell me who they are, sweetie?" she asked again. "Uhm, their names are Mitsuki, Boruto, Chōchō, Sarada and also that annoying pinkette.. Sarada's mom." I sighed.

"O-oh.. Th-that's great." mom said with a nervous kind of tone. "I'm going to sleep now, mom. Night." I said as I lay down on my bed and close my eyes. "Good night, sweetie." she replied and gave me a kiss on my forehead.

"Asuna, time to wake up." a woman's voice woke me up. "Breakfast is ready." she added. "What time is it, mom?" I asked as I rubbed my eye. "6 o'clock in the morning." she replied. I got up and went to the bathroom to prepare myself.

"Good morning everyone." I greeted when I arrived at the dining area. "Good morning, sweetie." mom said with a bright smile. "Morning." uncle Kenzou said. I sat down and enjoyed my breakfast that my mom cooked again.

When we are all done eating our breakfast, we went in the gate to bid goodbye because mom will go back in the hideout. "Remember what I told you before, Kenzou." mom said and uncle Kenzou just nod.

"Take good care of yourself, sweetie. Always remember that I love you and I'll miss you." mom said and hugged me tight. "Me too." I replied back. As we watch her leave until she is out of sight, I looked straight at my uncle.

"You can go on your self training now." he smiled and I thanked him. I run fast going in the woods nearby to start my training. Actually, I'm not wearing my mask because I'm too lazy to wear them. My mom and I even fought about me not wearing my mask but my mom agreed sooner.

I was busy practicing using my kunai while also using my sharingan to hit the target and I always succeed. I practiced everything that I need to improve and when I am getting rest I sensed someone getting near me and I get myself ready and bravely faced that unknown person.

"Don't you even dare!" I warned that person when I showed up while holding my kunai. As he stare on me his face suddenly brought in total shock like she seen a ghost in front of her. "I'm sorry for scaring you. I thought you were an enemy." I explained but he didn't reply and her face was still the same.

I frowned a bit, "What's wrong?" I asked. "Wh-why.." he mumbled but I didn't hear what he said and asked again. "What did you say, Boruto?"

"Why do you look like Sarada?!" he yelled in total shock. "What are you talking about?" I said in confusion. I don't even know what I look like because my mom won't let me use a mirror! "Come with me and you'll see for yourself." he said and pulled me but I stopped him.

"Wa-wait! I still need to cover my face in order to protect myself from danger." I said. "Use this." he said while removing his cloth and covered me. We both run heading to their house, I guess?

When we got there, we headed straight in his room and let me sit on his bed and faced me to a mirror. I was still confuse but when I remember Sarada's face and realizing that we look similar. "Do you believe me now?" he asked.

I sighed a bit. "Don't you dare tell to anybody even her because if you do, I'll definitely kill you!" I warned him. "If that's what you want, I won't but I can't promise you, 'kay?" he said.

"I'll asked my mom first about it." I uttered. "You have a family? Thought you were just a clone." scratch his head. "I'm not a clone! I have my own biological mother and father but sadly.. Papa abandoned us. But, that's okay because my step dad accepted and loved me as his daughter." I said.

"Okay, you're not a clone but you still look like Sarada. Both of you really looked like twins dattebasa!" he said. "Just don't tell it yet. I'm going to find out everything about me first, Boruto." I said and he nods. After that I run leaving him behind heading back to our house.
