Chapter 13 (Birthday)

Suigetsu's POV

"Nice show." I heard them said it. "U-uncle Hansuke?! Aunt Akane!?" Asuna said. I saw her face turned red while she's taking a step away from us. "You okay, kid?" Hansuke asked looking at Asuna.

"Ye-yeah! I have to go, bye!" she ran off. "That girl.." I heard Akane whispering or she isn't? I think that's not even a whisper because I heard it clearly. "Come on, Akane-san. We have to go." Hansuke pulled her heading outside.

Asuna's POV

"Oh~ that was so embarrassing!" I squealed while holding my blushing face. "So uncomfortable.." I breathed heavily. Tch! Why would I feel like this? Showing someone my emotions makes me feel embarrassed and I also start to hate sweets except for tomatoes, I love tomatoes!

"Sweetie~, want some tomatoes for dinner?" mom asked me. "Yes, please!" I said while smiling. "How about your favorite chocolate for dessert?" she asked once again. "Uhmm.. I'm good eating tomatoes as my dessert as well.." I scratched the back of my head.

"O..kay." mom replied. "You love to eat sweets before. I think you can finish the one packed candies for just two days." she uttered. I breathed out for a bit, "Mom, I realized that eating sweets are not my thing but eating tomatoes does make me feel happy."

"Just like Sasuke-kun.." she whispered something that I didn't hear. "Did.. you say something, mom?" I asked curiously. "N-nothing, sweetie. I have to cook now for our dinner." she said calmly but I can feel that she's sad and scared.

Here it goes again. Mom's feelings are creeping me out!

I went inside my room and let my small body land on my soft bed. "I am an Uchiha... Where's my real father then??" I mumbled. "How does he look like?"

Sarada's POV

"Mama, I received an eye-glasses from aunt Karin. Again." I chuckled. "That's great!" mama said while cooking in the kitchen.

I went to the kitchen because my curiosity is killing me! "How does aunt Karin looks like?" I asked while holding the edge of mama's dress.

"You'll see her soon." that is what mama said to me. "Okay!" I said while smiling and I went to the living room to open my other present from Asuna.
When I opened it, I was amazed because I received a kunai with an Uchiha crest on it and a blouse with an Uchiha crest again on the back. "This is amazing." I whispered.

"Dinner's ready!" mama said while heading in the living room. "Who gave that to you, Sarada?" mama asked. "It's Asuna! Isn't it amazing? She even put an Uchiha crest on them, mama." I exclaimed while showing my gifts that I received from her.

Mama just smiled brightly and she even pat my head. "It's amazing. Now, we have to eat dinner. We will celebrate your birthday tomorrow." mama said and I nod.

Asuna's POV

I woke up really early today. I was confused because mom didn't wake me up to eat breakfast and I looked at the time. It was already 7:30 in the morning.

I used to eat my breakfast at 6:30.. Today is also my birthday but they didn't wake me up to greet me. As soon as I fixed my bed. I took a bath and after that I went in the dining area.

I saw my breakfast and also a note beside it. I sat on the chair and I began to read the note.

Good morning, sweetie! I'm sorry if we didn't wake you up to eat your breakfast because we are very busy. Now, eat your breakfast and wait for your aunt Akane to pick you up.

"She even forgot to greet me. I'm very disappointed." I sighed. I eat my breakfast without energy. Shannarō!

"Eh? Where did I get that word?" I murmured. "Creepy!" I breathed out and I put the plate in the sink.

I waited for aunt Akane but not that long and then we went to some place that is not familiar to me. "Where are we?" I questioned. "Just open the door, Asuna-chan." she winked.

I gave her an unsatisfied look but she just smiled and nod. I opened the door nervously and when it was wide enough they shouted a..

"Happy Birthday, Asuna-chan!!!" they greeted me and I was surprised. Mom and dad headed towards my direction and they hugged me.

"Happy Birthday, sweetie." they greeted once again and I just smiled. "Our planned work." they smiled and that made me confused. "You didn't notice that we are going to surprise you right?" uncle Hansuke asked.

I nod as my response. "Let's celebrate your birthday, sweetie. I know that your breakfast isn't enough because I didn't put a lot of food on your plate but you didn't even notice." mom chuckled.

Shannarō! They set me up! I didn't pay attention to them. But it was fun, I guess..

We celebrate my birthday with full of joy and I was very happy. How I wish that my real dad is here and also.. I wish uncle Kenzou would be here too.
Papa, I hope that we will cross paths together. Seeing you and being with you together with mom as a complete family.

After that I blow the lighted candle on my cake and they were so happy. Well, that's my only wish until I will meet Papa. I will wait for that to come..
