Chapter 26 (Encounter 3)

Asuna's POV

It's been a week already hiding myself to them, I also feel bad for not attending my studies. Every other day I need to change place because of my chakra. I didn't master how to hide my chakra yet.

I found myself training in the woods, throwing my kunai on the target. Enhancing every skills I am capable of to level it up. I want to avenge myself against Sasuke Uchiha. What he did is unacceptable.

I remember what uncle Kenzou told me before, I need to get stronger in order to activate my susanoo. I don't care if I'm too young, what matters to me is to get stronger.

"Am I unlovable, papa? Why can't you even love me back for just a little bit.." I murmured. I was about to pick up my kunai when I heard a small noise.

I quickly hide myself leaving the kunai that I was about to pick up. "A kunai?" a voice of a girl said. "It has the Uchiha crest like mine." she then added.

Why do I feel nervous right now?.. Hearing that kunai with Uchiha crest, my chest tightened.

"If I'm not mistaken the one who gave that kunai to me is the one who owns this?.."

Why can't I remember it?! Why?! Arghhh, I hate myself for this!

"I need to bring this back and also to thank her.."

"M-my kunai.." I whispered, not thinking about what will happen next. I get out from the place I'm hiding at. "Give me back my kunai!" I shouted.

She stopped from walking away. Wait, isn't that.. Sa-sarada?

"Oh, is this yours? Great I was about to give--Asuna?" we are both staring at each other. Shocked at the figure were seeing together.

"Why do I look just like you?!" we said in unison. "How come?" I'm starting to freak out. "W-why?"

"Is it true?" Sarada asked making me confused. "About what?" I also asked. "That your my clone?" she said, clenching her fist.

What the hell?

"That's the reason why you always wear mask, am I right?" she paused, "answer me!"

"You're wrong. All of you are wrong about my identity." I mumbled. "Are you sure?" Sarada said, not believing me. "I have my own family!" I yelled.

"Family?" she chuckled, "a family of clones, right. Okay, I get it."

I felt insulted a bit by her words, no one believes me here. I have no one in here, no one..

"Why aren't you responding, Asuna? Is it because I am right about you? Tell me." she said and I just shook my head.

Is it my fault that I looked like her? Is it my fault that I am an Uchiha? Don't I deserve to live like a normal person?

I'm tired of defending myself. I am tired of arguing nonsense. I decided to leave her to prevent another fight. She's still a relative to me, she's a family that don't know about me.

"Hey, don't leave me here with our unfinished conversation! Asuna!" she shouted and she keep calling my name. "Hey!!"

I suddenly felt a pain on my left shoulder. I recognize my kunai that landed on a tree, she hit me.

I faced her again with emotionless expression. I won't let her see my real emotions.

"Why did you do that?" I asked. "I did nothing wrong to you, but why? Everyone here keeps accusing me for the things I didn't even do! What's wrong with you all?! Is it really my fault that we looked alike?! Is it?! Do you think I love what's happening to me right now? No!" I can't stop my feelings any longer.

"I've been living with my mother who carried me for nine months and took care of me for years up until now and then you'll judge me that I am a clone?! A fvcking clone that no one ever told me I was one of them except the rest of you who's living in this village! I thought I can still live normally in here while studying to learn more! Guess, I'm wrong about it. I'm sorry for the trouble I have caused. I'm greatful for the memories we have, Sarada. Thank you and goodbye." I said. "Oh, wait.. Please," I teleport where she's standing and pushed her on a tree while I started to choke her.

"Don't even dare to hurt me, follow me or come near me ever again because I assure you, I can kill each and anyone of you right here and right now." after saying those I disappeared on her sight.

Sarada's POV

"Tha-that was close." I coughed because of what Asuna did earlier. I didn't even expect that to happen. "But how come that I look like her? I already have done research about Uchiha clan, papa and I are the only Uchiha left alive."

"If you're not a clone, Asuna, then what are you really?" I whispered under my breath before heading back to our house.

"Welcome home, sweetie!" mama said brightly as she saw me entered the house. "Where did you get that bruise?" she then asked as she saw my bruise on the neck. "I did a mistake on my training." I lied.

"There's a hand grip that I can see on your neck, Sarada. Don't even lie to me." mama said. "This is nothing to worry about, mama. As you can see, I am perfectly fine." I smiled.

"Where's papa by the way?" I asked. "He went to nanadaime to talk about some stuff." she shrugged. "Is this about Asuna?"

"I'm not sure, sweetie. Let's not talk about it for now. Go and change, dinner will be ready in a hour." she smiled. I nod as a response to her and went to my room to have a bad and change.

I then looked at the kunai that Asuna owns, same as my kunai with my own name on it.

"Asuna Uchiha." I read out. "there's a feeling that she's telling the truth but I'm not sure. She might also tell lies for me to be deceived.

"I want to find out the truths about her as soon as possible. Aunt Karin might help me with this."
