Sarada's POV

"You told us that Asuna is part of our family, where is she now?" mama asked. "Karin took her for the meantime, we can't accept her that fast. We're not sure if Asuna is really ours, Sakura." papa replied.

"Asuna is harmless ever since I met her that day, I knew it because I felt that she's the one who'll complete me—us, our family." mama defended but in a smooth tone. "She nearly killed Boruto, mama." I said.

"She has her reasons why she did that to Boruto." mama keep defending her. "It's better if we are distant from her for the meantime, just to make everything clear." papa said.

"Won't it hurt Asuna's feeling, papa? She had been away from us for decades yet we still distance ourselves from her." I heaved a deep sigh. "She is longing for our love. Will that be hard to give as her family?"

"I'll just wait for the DNA result that I requested from Karin." papa said. "Isn't the feeling of connections we have for her doesn't make you believe, anata?" mama asked.

"Mama is right, I have this weird feeling every time we are together." I admitted.

"Sometimes we need to be careful on trusting the people around you. They maybe kind in front of you but when you turn away from them its the other way around." papa snorted.

"Aish, Sasuke-kun, stop that already. I'm sure that Karin is telling the truth! Asuna is our daughter, open your heart for her and feel the connection." mama hissed.

"I'm just protecting our family, Sakura." papa mumbled.

"I want to see my sister." I uttered.

"Sarada, let's wait for the DNA result. Be patient for now." papa stated. "Fine." I blow a loud breath and excused myself to go outside.

Instead of roaming in the village, I escaped heading to the hideout that papa and I went when we were looking for mama because she was captured by Shin Uchiha.

It's not that far from our village, I could go home on time. "I can finally talk to my sister face to face."

After my 'not that long travel', I reached my destination. I hurriedly went inside, doesn't care about my exhaustion.

"Asuna?" I called while walking inside. "Asuna?"

Two human figure suddenly framed me, holding both of my hands.

"H-hey! Let m—me go!" I shouted trying to escape from framing me up.

"Why do you look like Asuna?" the guy asked me.

"Are you her clone?" the woman also asked.

So, this is how it feels like if you are being called a clone. My heart just throbbed in pain. I'm sorry, Asuna. For letting you feel this kind of pain.

"N-no.. I'm not her clone!" I replied. "Then what are you to her?" the guy asked. Should I tell them? My mind asked.

Of course you should! She's your twin after all.

My other mind answered. Causing me to be confused, I never thought this things before.

Look what you have done to me, Asuna.

"Answer me." the guy asked with his authoritative tone. "I'm... ahm, I'm  h-her... t—twin." I finally answered, they were shocked and finally let go of my hands.

"We are very sorry for misunderstanding you as an enemy." they apologized.

"It's okay" I smiled, "is she here, by the way?"

"Asuna isn't here." the woman answered. "Can I know your name?" she then smiled.

I smiled back at her before telling my name, "I'm Sarada Uchiha."

"Sorry but Asuna isn't here. They went to a place far from here and they didn't tell us where." the guy said, I felt sad because of the thought thag I couldn't see my sister.

"Kenzou is searching for them now." he said again, "we'll inform you if we finally found them."

I nodded, "thank you."

I bowed to them before leaving that place because I'm running out of time. I should be back at the village as soon as possible. Papa might be already looking for me now.

Asuna's POV

"I'm tired, mom..." I murmured. "We are already close, sweetie. Hang in there okay?" she said.

I don't understand myself for the meantime, I don't get tired that easily before. Maybe because of the heavy emotions I have right now?

The thought of my biological family doesn't want me. Doesn't....love me..

I just sighed, "okay."

This was my plan all along. To be far away from them because papa doesn't want me. He can't even accept me as a member of their family.

"Asuna?" mom called, pulling me out from my deep thoughts. "Y-yes, mom?"

"I said, when you decided to go back in the hideout you should be stronger than before." I just nod on what she said.

Since papa nearly killed me that day and mom told us about who I really am, then papa stormed off without leaving any single word hurts my feelings. I just thought of going far away from them.

I. Am. Tired.

"Asuna, we are here." she caressed my hair, looking at me with her genuine smile.

"Are you hurt too, mom?" I suddenly asked her. She just looked up in the sky, "I don't want to lie again, so yeah.. I am terribly hurt, sweetie."

I looked up at her, examining her emotions. "I'm hurt because of the thought you are not mine and will never be.."

"Mom.." even though she's not my biological mother, nothing's gonna change because she raised me with all her heart.

"As soon as possible, I need to bring you back with your real family." her tears are streaming down on her cheeks.

"They don't want me." I mumbled and she chuckled, "for now, but I know they are adjusting to welcome you in their lives."

I shook my head, "that's not true, mom.

She sighed, thinking carefully. I sensed her emotions and she's sad and hurt—no, she's broken.

"Starting from now on.. Don't call me mom" she paused, "just call me aunt Karin."
