Chapter 15

Jughead POV- 1 month later

I was sat in the kitchen feeding Rydenin his high chair why Betty was out getting groceries with Nuke. When she called me

"Hey Betts what's up?"

"Hello is this Mr Jones?"

"Yes. Who is this?"

"Mr Jones I'm calling from the hospital you are listed as the first of Elizabeth's emergency contacts."

"Ye I'm her boyfriend. What happened is she ok."

"She was in a car accident there was also another man in the car with her. Do you know who this man was we don't have any ID on him?"

"Yes it's Alex Samson. But is Betty ok."

"We at the moment she is asleep and we are waiting for her test results. She hit her head pity hard. The car was hit in by the drivers side so Alex was the worst hurt. You may come and see her if you like."

"Ye I will be there in 10" I say hanging up I grab Ryden and put his leather jacket on and I put mine on and go and get Sweet-Pea to take us and so he can see Nuke.

When we get there I ask to see Betty and was filed in on what happened apparently a SUV slammed into the drivers side of the car causing Betty to hit her head pretty hard on the glass. I'm lead to her room and as I walk in I see her lying pale and lifeless on her bed with a large cut on the left side of her head with wires and IVs coming off of her.

"Oh Betts." I say sitting in the chair next to her bed and placing my hand in hers as Ryden snuggles into my chest as he sits on my lap. We are there for about 20 minutes until a doctor comes in with her test results.

"Aa. You must be Mr Jones."

"Yes that's me."

"Ok so Betty was very lucky and only had a concussion and obviously that large cut in her head. Apart from a few cut and bruises she should be ok. And the baby seems to be fine."

"Wait sorry did you say baby?"

"Yes. I would estimate about 6 weeks. Did you not know?"

"No i didn't."

"Well congratulations. Looks like your going to be a farther of two." He says walking out I look back at Betty I can't believe she's pregnant. I really need to invest in some condoms like really. Not that I'm complaining I love Betty and Ryden and can't wait to have another kid. I wonder if Betty knows.

About 30 minutes later Ryden is asleep by Betty's side and I'm drifting off to sleep holding her hand. When I hear a faint voice say "Jug?"I look up to see Betty awake I quickly pull her into a long passionate kiss when I pull back she says "what was that for?"

"Betts I'm so happy.And you scared me half to death I thought I lost you. Did you know...." I was cut off by a doctor walking in the room

"Miss Cooper your awake. Good to see. How do you feel?"

"Ok just have a headache. Doctor is my baby ok?"

"Yes it's fine. Nothing to worry about." He says and Betty holds her stomach

The doctor checks the mechanics around Betty and then leaves and I turn to Betty who is holding Ryden on her chest and twiddling with his curly black hair.

"You knew?"

"Yes. But Jug don't get mad. I went to the grocery store and then got Nuke to take me to my appointment to confirm. Don't worry I didn't take Nuke over you he waiting in the car.And I would have said something but I didn't want to get your hopes up and I'm so sorry Jug...."

"Hey Betts. I'm not mad."

"What your not? Why?"

"Because I love you and Ryden and I will love this baby. And if you wanted to be sure before you told me then im ok with that."

"I love you Jug."

"I love you too." I lean in and kiss her and then Ryden pushes me away from Betty and throws his arm around her Betty and pulls her to him. This makes me and Betty chuckle

"Don't worry Rye I love you too." I say tickling him making him giggle with makes me smile.

2 days later Betty came home. Rydens trying to walk know and he can crawl pretty fast know. And Nuke is rehabilitating. He broke his leg and a couple ribs and had bone in this lung that they had to operate on. His leg is in a metal cage with pins in to try and pull the bone together but apart from that he's getting better.
