Chapter 40

Betty POV

I was sitting on the chair next to Jugheads bed when there was a knock on the door and then Polly poked her head around the door.

"Hey Polly." I say standing up and walk over to the door and hug her I see Juliet holding a book and Ryden holding a toy car in his hand they where stood in front of Archie.

"Hey kids hey Arch.....where's Blue?"

"Archie and Veronica came to the house to see you but obviously you where hear and they came with us in there car to see Jughead anyway Blues upset and won't come in so Veronica is trying to convince him to come in."

"I'll go out and talk to him in a second. Guys you can come in." Polly walks in first then Juliet and Ryden walk in holding hands then Archie walks in and gives me a hug.

I walk over to Nughead and shake him a little bit and he wakes up.

"Hey." He says still sleepy I don't think he realises that other people are in the room yet I give him a quick kiss and say "Archie, Polly and the kids our hear. But Blue is still in the car with V so I'm going to go talk to him."

"Ok." He looks over at the kids and they run over to him

"Daddy!" They both shout running over to him.

"Hey guys." He say with a smile. He adjusts the bed so he is sitting up and parts the side next to him and Ryden and Juliet squeeze into one side and hug him gently and he hugs back and kisses them on there heads. They start talking about something and I walk out to the car. I see Veronica sat in Polly car and Ryden sat in his car seat next to her. I walk over to the car and V looks up at me.

"Hey B. He won't go in."

"I know Polly told me. Why don't you go in and I'll talk to him?"

"Sure." She says getting out off the car and hugging me. I sit in the car and shut the door so it's just me and Blue.

"Blue whats wrong?" I day as he plays with his dinosaur

"I don't want to see robot daddy. I miss silly daddy." He says sounding upset I take him out off his chair and pull him into a hug.

"I know you don't bud. But if you just come inside you will be happy. Ok? Can you do that for me?"

"Ok. But you promise I will She silly happy daddy soon?" He says looking up at me with a hop in his eyes

"I promise." I say

I carry him out off the car and shut the door. I carry him to the hospital why he rests his head on my shoulder. I push the door open an see Veronica,Archie and Polly sat on the couch watching as Juliet reads a story to Jughead as she sits by his side with Ryden in Juliet's side. As I walk closer to Jugheads bed he turns to look at us and a smiles.

"Blue. Look."

He turn his head and his sad face goes from sad to having a huge smile in his face and he shouts "Silly daddy!" I put him down and he runs over to Jugheads bed and climbs onto his bed and hugged him then kissed his cheek.

"I missed you."

"I missed you too bud. Guess what?"

"What?"

"Poop." Jug says with a smile

Which makes Blue,Juliet and Ryden laugh. Blue sits down and rests his head on Jugheads side and snuggles into him and Jughead wraps his arms round all of them as Juliet stands to read the book to everyone again. The book was the three little pigs.
