Chapter 20

Betty POV

I take a deep breath and grab Jugheads hand that wasn't holding Ryden.

"You ready Betts."

"Yes. Let's introduce my family little family to my crazy family."

I walk out holding Jugheads hand as he holds Ryden close to his chest. Everyone turns to look at us and I stand close to Jughead as he holds my hand.

"Mom,Dad this is Jughead my boyfriend and......" I start to panic so I take a deep breath and Jug squeeze my hand and says "Its ok Betts you can do it." I take another deep breath and say "and Ryde. Our son. He's 11 months old."

They all looked at me shocked and then Ryden turns his head to face Polly and he smiles. "OMG!!! Betty he's so cute. Look at his chubby cheeks." She says standing and walking over to him and bopping his nose. "Can I hold him?" She says Jug looks at me and I nod and he hands her to Polly.

"Hey Ryden. Your a little cute. He look like you Jughead." She looks at Jughead and smiles he pulls me to his side and kissing my head and whispering in my ear. "Your doing great Betts." He makes me feel calm and relaxed. I look over at my Mom and dad after pulling away from Jughead but keeping hold of his hand. My mother has a face of fury. "Elizabeth outside now!" I look at Jug who squeeze my hand and then let's go as Polly hands him Ryden. Before Jughead can do anything I walk outside with my mom.

"Elizabeth Cooper! What where you thinking when you got nocked up by that!"

"What do you mean that!"

"That man in there! His arms are covered in tattoos and that leather jacket! What is he I biker!"

"Yes! He is! And you know what? I don't care! I love him and he loves me and OUR son!"

"I knew when you moved hear it was only a matter of time before you got fucked and pregnant!"

"Mom! I was not fucked! And yes I got a son out off it but it was one of the best nights of my life and I got a beautiful little boy out of it with the man I love."

"You think he loves you? I would like to see him when times get tough!"

"You have know I dear what I've gone threw! You know what happened to me and Jughead a month ago?"

"No and what kind of a name is Jughead?!"

"Mom stop judging him on everything! Last month mom! Me and Jug lost a baby! He stood bye me every step of the way and when you showed up today he came into my room and calmed me down! Yes we've been our rough spots and yes or relationship started of rocky but the thing that has never changed is that we love each other and that we love our son! Mom you should see him with Ryden. I have never seen a man love his son so much."

"You really care about him don't you?"

"I do. More then I have ever cared about a one man so much in my life."

"If you care so much about that boy..."

"Jughead" I correct her

"Yes Jughead then I will at least try to get to know him."

"Thank you mom." I say walking back into the apartment. I think everyone could hear because as soon as I walked in everyone turn to me with there mouths slightly open. Polly turns around and looks like she was about to cry and says

"You lost a baby Betty?"

The memory of the horrible night flash threw my brain. And I could only nod and hold back my tears. Then I feel strong arms wrap around me.

"It's ok Betty. It's ok." Jughead says into my ear while holding me close I sob into his chest and stroked my hair making me calm down. I take deep breaths and hug Jughead as he plants a soft kiss in my lips. When I calm down a bit it turns into a big group hug. We all sit down together and Jughead stays by my side the hole time why Ryden walked around adventurously and played with everyone and babbled to everyone.
