Chapter 24

Polly POV

After Betty broke down and told me about Jughead I wanted to give him a piece of my mind. I lied and said Jason needed a brake I am going to go back to the hotel that wasn't a total lie but I need to talk to Jughead first. I walk down the stairs and go to the bar where there where two girls working I walk over and the redhead girl says "what can I get ye."

"Where dose Jughead Jones work?"

"Who's asking?"

"Oh I'm Polly. Betty's older sister."

"Oh hey. I'm Cheryl.I thought you looked a bit familiar. Why do to need to know where boss works."

"Boss?"

"He owns this bar and also runs the gang."

"I have so many questions. But there's no time where is he working now?"

"Ooff. I'm not sure. One sec. babe!" Then the girl and she walks over she had pink in her hair.

"What's up."

"Polly this is Toni my girlfriend. Toni this is Polly Betty's sister."

"Hey nice to meet you what's up?"

"I need to talk to Jughead. Well more shout at him. Do you know where he's working right now?"

"Well probably the garage." She pulls out a business card and hands it to me. "Hear. That's where he'll be."

"Thanks. See you round Cheryl and Toni." I say getting in a taxi and heading to the garage.

Jughead POV

I was in the garage under the hood of someone's car why i was talking to Fangs.

"No man I mean he was fully on top off her I wanted to beat the shit out off him right there but Betty needed me. When I go home I swear I'm going to just beat the....." I was cut off by someone shouting my name.

"Jughead!" I look round and see Polly just walking into he garage

"Polly? What's up is Betty ok?" I say looking at her as she walks over to me as I wipe my hands on a rag to try get some off the oil off of them.

"Can we talk some where private please?"

"Ye sure. Fangs you fix the car I'm going to the office for a bit. Follow me Polly." I walk into my office and I sit down at my desk and Polly sits in the seat into of my desk

"What's up?"

"I just finished having my little sister cry on my shoulder for 30 minutes do you know why?"

"What! Why?"

"Why are you working longer and at weekends?"

"I've worked the same times and days for months."

"I now since Ryden was 3 months old so what's the problem!"

"What there is no problem!"

"Well according my sister she thinks is because you don't love her anymore! Or you don't want to be apart of Rydens life! And your avoiding them! And the other day when you took Ryden and JB for a walk and said you didn't want her to come!So there is clearly some problem! What is it!"

"Hey Betty knows I love her and I love my son!" I say slamming my fist on my desk and standing up

"So why are you spending all your time at work and no time with her!"

"Because...."

"Just tell me!"

"If I tell you you can't tell Betty ok."

"Why what is it?" She says getting concerned

"I....I need the money."

"Why? Are you in debut?"

"No."

"What is it then why can't I tell Betty?"

"Because i need the money FOR Betty."

"OH MY GOD JUGHEAD JUST TELL ME WHY TOU NEED TR MONEY FOR BETTY!!!"

"Promise you won't tell Betty."

"Jughead just tel..." I cut her off

"Promise me!"

"Fine. I promise I won't tell Betty."

I pull my jacket out off my locker behind my desk. And pull out a black velvet box and place it in the desk in front off Polly and sit back down.

"Jughead is this a...."

"Engagement ring? Yes."

"Can I see it?"

I nod and she opens the box and her mouth opens slightly.

"I went and picked it up when I went for a 'walk' with Ryden and JB. I also wanted another girls thoughts on it......I had it specially made."

"Jughead it's beautiful she'll love it. When are you going to ask her?"

"I was going to ask her Christmas Morning when it's just me her and Ryden......Polly I love her and I don't know if she told you but when she was pregnant with Ryden I had to leave for a month and a half because a rival gang threatened her......it was the hardest and most depressing time off my life....I don't want to lose her Polly. But if you think I should ask her sooner to show her..." before I could respond she cut me off.

"No. Christmas Day sounds perfect. I can't believe I'm going to say this but she was kind off upset that you guys weren't.......being active in the bedroom department."

"She's upset I'm not having sex with her?"

"Well yes but she also thinks you don't turn her on anymore." She places the box back on the table and I shove it back into my pocket and pull on it jacket.

"Where are you going?"

"Can you look after Ryden for a couple hours?"

"Sure."

I walk out and Polly gets into a cab and goes to get Ryden I have to do some stuff befor I go and see Betty.
