The Avengers - Lassie the Dog Avenger

(So lately i've been getting into the avengers assembled cartoon series which i recommend you watch if your a fan of marvel, even tho i also love the actors in the live action i prefer the cartoon so i want you to see the character as they are in the cartoon 😋 let's get to the fic)
In a dark ally in the middle of new york lived a stay rough collie, she was born on a puppy farm but she managed to escape but of the cost of her mum and her siblings and she's being on the street for a few months now, she just turned 6 months old and she was starving so she she decided to look for some food, she was walking around but at the same time being cautious for the dog snatchers and she sees central park so she runs to it, she decided to look in the bins to see if she can find any left overs, meanwhile clint or hawkeye was walking in the park to get some fresh air and to eat some pizza bagels, he was about to eat the last pizza bagel when he sees a dog looking in a bin, the dog jumps down and then she see clint and walks over
"hey buddy" hawkeye says petting the dog "you look hungry"
the dog whimpers in response
"you can have my last pizza bagel if you want, i'm full anyway" clint says and he gives the collie his bagel
the dog woofs quietly in response and starts eating the bagel, clint gives the collie one last pet and walks off, he didn't get far till his com went off
"all avengers assemble to near centrel park, a gang of robbers are stealing the bank there" the voice of tony or iron man says
"ok" clint says and runs off
the collie watch clint run off of and decide to follow, when clint got to his destination he say the robbers and then he sees the avengers appear
"oh hawkeye here you are" natasha or black widow says
"yeah just went thought the park now let's have some action" hawkeye says taking out his bow
he also takes out a explosive arrow and fires at one of the robbers, then the other avengers started to attack with the hulk smashing, thor using his lightning and hammer, captain america using he shield, iron man using his laser hand and chest, widow using her laser bracelet and kicking and hawkeye using his bow all the while the collie was watching behind a tree, after a bit all the robber were taken down and the police were coming
"well that's that taken care of" clint says facing natasha
"you're being cocky again" widow says in reply
"what?! can't i be?" clint says with a smirk
what clint didn't notice is one of the robber getting back up, the other were to destacted by the other to notice, the robber sees clint and charges at him, the collie then charges and uses her weight to push him down and bite his arm
"get this mutt off me!" the robber says
everyone tuned around confused and see the collie attack the robber
"it's you again" clint says
"you know the dog?" nastasha
"yeah before i came here i was eating pizza bagels and then i bumped into the dog, i decided to be kind and give the last one to the dog and now...she repaying for the food" clint says
the collie then let go of the robber when the cops came and went over to clint
"wow that was good" clint says "thanks a lot" he says petting the dog
the collie woofed in reply and wagged her tail happily
"hmm...i am quite impressed in the canine's heroic deed" thor say
"hulk impressed too" hulk added
"meh...i think it's cute" widow says calmly
"alright guys let's head back to the tower, wanna ride cap?" tony says with a smirk
"sure why not" steve or captain america say and hold onto tony's shoulders
iron man shoot off and thor with hulk go off too
"you coming hawkeye" tasha says getting onto her bike
yeah" clint says with a grunt as he picked up the collie
"why are you doing?" tasha says
"what does it look like i'm doing, i'm bring the dog with us" clint says getting on the bike with the dog in arms "i'm not going to leave it there after what it did"
"ok but if tony doesn't like it it's your fault" tasha says and she drives off to the tower
when they all get back iron man lands on the helicopter pad and cap let's go of tony's shoulders, then thor arrived using his hammer as a propeller, then the hulk and lastly widow and hawkeye, widow and hawkeye get off the bike and clint puts the dog on the floor, the dog looks around while everyone went inside
"right you sit here while i get you some food and water ok" clint says and he walks away
the collie sits down and waits for her new friend to come back, meanwhile cap went to the training room to train with his shield he was doing good and he threw his shield to do a combo but then tony opened the door, the shield bounced off one of the robots and it went out the door, steve and tony looked at each other with steve having a annoyed face and they run off after it, clint just finished getting food and a bowl of water for the collie and was about to head outside to give it but then cap's shield zoomed past and went outside, steve and tony were running after it and clint looked worried and confused, the shield was heading towards the collie and she noticed it so she jumped up, caught it and then she got a little pushed back but she wasn't near the edge, steve and tony ran out but see the collie going to steve with the shield in her mouth
"oh thank you" cap says after taking the shield from the collie
the collie barks and then clint comes out with food and water
"is this the same collie from eariler?" tony asked clint
"yeah i brought it back so i can give it food and water" clint replied putting the bowls down
when clint sits back up the collie barks happily and starts to eat
"i say for a dog it's really intelligent" steve says putting the shield on his back
"well it is a rough collie and they are very smart breed" clint says crossing his arms "it also looks like it needs a bath too"
"yeah it does look really dirty" tony says
"i put it in the bath after it has it food" steve says "it's...a repayment for catching my shield"
clint and tony agree and then the collie finished her food, clint and tony went back inside the tower to do their thing and steve took the collie to the bathroom for a dog bath, after steve gave the collie a good wash down and drying he came out to the living room with the dog in toe
"here she is all cleaned down" steve says happily with the dog woofing after
"she?" natasha says from the couch where the hulk, thor and clint are too
"yeah i found out she's a girl while i was giving her a bath" steve says "she was also very muddy"
the collie went over to clint and started licking his face
"ok! ok calm down girl" clint says happily while pushing the dog away
"she really likes you clint" natasha says smiling
"yeah..." clint said after rubbing his face
then the collie went over to thor and hulk to check them out
"the canine is sure friendly" thor says petting the collie "maybe i can teach her the ways of a worrior"
"how would you do that?" hulk says also petting the dog "she has paws and won't be able to pick up the sword or anything for that matter"
"she can with her mouth but she wouldn't know how to use it like we do" steve says sitting down on the couch next to clint
(also if your a fan of the show and want to know where sam or falcon is, he's on a mission for shield so he's off for a few weeks)
"can we keep her?" clint says
"umm...we got to ask tony if it's ok" widow says
"and we got to pick a name too" cap says and then everyone goes quiet as to think of a name
"anyway where is tony?" steve says a a bit
"he's in his lab building...something" clint says "he did tell me but i forgot"
everyone looked at clint with a poker face
"what? it was to tec for my brain to cope" clint says confused
everyone sighs and went back to what they were doing, steve was watching the game thor and hulk were playing and clint was petting the collie while nastasha was cuddling clint, then the collie heard something and ran off
"where's she going?" clint says
"probably heard something" natasha says in a mumble
clint shrugs and puts his head on natasha, the collie ran to where tony's lab was and the doors open, the collie stepped inside to see tony looking for something, the dog barks and tony looks at her as she sits
"oh hello pup" tony says going over "if you want to play, i have no time since i need to finish something but i lost my screwdriver" he says and he goes to look back to where he thinks it went
the collie looks around and sniffs the floor and then she sees the screwdriver under the table where one of the important machine are so she goes under the table slowly and gets it, she comes back out and she goes over to tony, she bark and he sighs
"look i can't play with you i'm..." tony says but stops to see the screwdriver in her mouth "you found my screwdriver"
the collie barks and tony takes the screwdriver form the collie and rubs her head
"clint was right, you are an intelligent breed" tony says smiling "just like..." he stops when steve came in
"oh here she is" steve says seeing the collie and crouching down to pet her "i was wondering where she ran off to"
"yeah she came in here" tony says sitting in his chair again looking at the screwdriver the collie found "hey have you guys thought of a name for her yet?"
"umm...no we haven't why?" steve says looking at tony
"i think i thought of one and it's lucky she's a girl too" tony replies
a few minute later everyone sat in the living room with the collie in front of them
"yeah i think it's a great name for her" clint says smiling
"i like it too" nastasha says
"all good here" steve says
"hulk, thor what you think?" tony says to the heavyweights
"hulk likes name it's good name" hulk says
"i like the name too but what's it origin" thor says
"well from the late 1950s to the 1980s there was a show based on a dog that looks like her" clint explains as he pointed to the collie "and she would save wildlife, people and she was so smart" he says "oh and also she would fight other predator animals if she had to"
"didn't one time she had to fight her own son" nastasha says
"wow this sound most interesting, i must see this show" thor says happily
"well i can put it on for you after you and hulk finished your game" tony says
"i like that idea" thor says
"i would like what this show is too" steve says
"so has everyone agreed with the name?" tony says
"i guess so" steve says
"ok for now on pup, you name shall be...lassie" tony says to the collie
lassie woofs happily and licks tony's face
"ok! stop" tony says while laughing
everyone else laughed as lassie was licking tony's face, a while later after watching some lassie shows and movies it was dark outside and everyone was heading to bed, lassie looked at everyone wandering where they were going and why then clint went to her
"we're heading to bed now" clint says petting the dog "you can come and sleep with me if you want"
lassie bark and got up to follow clint to his room, when they got there clint got into his pj after a little time in the bathroom and jumped into bed which was a double bed
"you coming up, girl" clint says petting the bed
the collie then jumped on the bed and got comfy
"good night lassie" clint says and the lights went off
clint fell asleep and so did lassie.

(i hope you enjoyed my first avengers fanfic and i will do another soon involving dr. strange and loki since i love those 2 especially in the live action as they are played by tom and benedict so hope for that soon)
