Sonamy Boom - Love Finally!

(This is a season finale sort of thing with shadow in it so let's get to the fic)
It was a sunny day on the island and tails was working in his workshop, he was tinkering with a part from his plane he he couldn't constraint since he could see sonic pacing and it was annoying
"sonic, what's the matter?" tail asks after a bit
"wrong? what makes you think something's wrong?" sonic says in denial
"sonic, your pacing and if i know you which i do, i know you pace when you are worried so what's up" tails says while pointing at him with his screwdriver
sonic sighs in defeat and he looks at tails
"tails, what does love stand for?" sonic says
"umm...love means where you have strong feeling of affection to another" tails says "why you ask?"
"i though it did" sonic says and he looks down "i...i think i'm in love"
"with who? amy?" tails says and sonic looks up when tails mentions amy with a blush on his face "ha! i knew it!"
"yeah...i do" sonic says "i have for quite a while now and...it's starting to get to me"
"maybe if you explain what you like about her, it might get it off your chest" tails says smiling
"ok...well...i love how she welds that hammer in battle, i love her emerald eyes, that cute pink dress, the way she cares about me, her laugh, her cute jokes, the way she gets embarrassed, her-" sonic rambles then tails cuts him off
"sound like you love everything about her" tails says
"yeah...mainly that cute smile she does" sonic says and he sighs lovenly "what do i do tails? i want to tell her but...i'm too shy and embarrassed to"
"just think it over" tails says "you'll find the right time to do it" he says and he goes back to tinkering with his plane part
"your right, i leave you to tinker" sonic says and he runs off
a while later sonic was sitting on the chair that's outside his house with his was thinking over the love he had for amy
'should i tell her? no she might not feel the same' sonic thought 'wait...she does, she kept hinting about it so she must do...but she might not want to have a relationship yet' he thought and he kept thinking it over
meanwhile at amy's house and she was thinking about something, she also had sticks there who was being sticks
"what's the matter amy?" sticks asked
"it's...umm...it's nothing, you wouldn't care anyway" amy says and she looks at sticks
"i bet you are thinking about sonic and your feeling towards him aren't you?" sticks says after thinking it over and this made amy shocked and blush up
"...y...yeah" amy says and she sighs "i love him, i really do but...i don't know if he wants to starts a relationship yet"
"either way you two should get together, it's annoying how much you two flirt with each other" sticks says "tell me what you like about him, it might clean your chest"
"ok...umm...i love his strength, his green eyes, his caring for me, the way he looks at me, that smile, his handsome looks, his-" amy rambled and sticks cuts her off
"ok, ok, stop" sticks says putting her hands out "i'm bored now so i'll leave you to think about it" she says and leaves the house
amy sighs and she starts to think about it putting her head on her hands , meanwhile eggman was in his lair entering the main room with the big computer in it and he sat down with orbot and cubot hovering next to him
"so what are we going to do today, boss?" orbot asks
"are we going to fight the sonic team again?" cubot says
"let's see what they are up to first" eggman says and he presses a button causing the spy bot to be released
the spy bot flies and it then finds sonic looking sad in the chair outside his house
"looks like sonic is sad about something" eggman says looking worried but then shrugs it off "let's check the others"
the spy bot then goes to amy's house and sees her picking petites off a dandelion
"he loves me, he loves me not" amy as she pulled off a petite
"sounds like she's in love with someone" cubot says then eggman realises what's going on
"do you think..." eggman says
"that sonic and amy are love sick? i do think so boss" orbot says
"i was going to say in love with each other but that works too" eggman says then the screen alerts him about shadow
he was leaning on a tree looking around and the map shows him being a few miles away from the town
"oh look! shadow's about" eggman says then he gets a brilliant idea
he then goes off doing his thing leaving orbot and cubot confused on what he was up to, when eggman was done he holds up a device that looked like a headband (like the one lyric used in shattered crystals but eggman made)
"what's the plan boss?" orbot asked
"well...i put this on shadow to make him work for me, then i'll capture sonic and amy and then i'll keep them here till...something happens" eggman explains
"sir, i have a feeling your helping out with their relationship problem" cubot says
"no! what! what are you talking about?!" eggman says hiding the fact he was
"oh sir, are you shipping them together?" orbot says in a teasing tone
"...maybe" eggman says with a smile then he snaps out of it "ok, off we go" he says and they go off
shadow was minding his own business with his arms crossed and leaning agents the tree with his eyes closed when he hears footsteps, he opens his eye to see eggman smiling at him
"long time no see shadow buddy" eggman says
"what is it eggman?" shadow says not phased by his presents
"i just want to know if you want to try on this...headband" eggman says and he hold out the device
"and why would i want to do that?" shadow says looking at the device then at eggman annoyed
"well...cause i need to see if it fit you so...then i know it fits sonic too" eggman says
shadow takes the device and he looks at it, he then sees words on the device that says 'hypnosis device 3000' with an off switch at the back of the device and he looks at eggman again
'what is he up to?' shadow thought 'i'll...play along to see what's up' he then lifts it up over his head, switches it off then puts it on his head
"are you under my control" eggman says
"yes" shadow says looking at eggman
"good, now follow me" eggman says "we have a pair to deal with" and he walks off
shadow was confused on what he meant but went along with him, he then flies over to where sonic was and he gains sonic's attention
"eggman! what do you want?" sonic says
"what i usual want" eggman says and he summons his robots
sonic then calls the team and they all appeared
"robots! attack!" he says and the robots did their thing
they fought the robots and while fighting sonic saved amy from a robot crab that was sneaking up behind her, eggman then took his chance and released some sleeping gas on everyone causing them to be knocked out, he then grabs amy and sonic with a claw and flew away with them leaving sticks, knuckles and tails still asleep on the sand, eggman then enters his base and he puts sonic and amy in different cages in his living room, then sonic wakes up first
"wha...eggman! what did you take me...and amy!?" sonic says realising amy was in the cage next to him
"oh, cause i felt like it" eggman says "and if you escape..." he says and shadow appears "you'll have to deal with shadow here"
sonic looks at shadow and he realises that shadow was acting hypnotised when he wasn't, sonic smirks and decides to play along
"now stay here and don't move" eggman says and he leaves with just sonic, shadow and a asleep amy in the room
shadow then leans on the wall by the door and sonic sighs, he then reaches into amy's cage and pokes her in the head
"amy...amy wake up" sonic says poking amy till she stirs
she then gets up and looks around
"where...sonic!" amy says and she blushes a little "why...why are we here?, in eggman's lair"
"eggman took us and is 'using' shadow to guard us so if we escape, we have to deal with him" sonic says and he points to shadow who was leaning on the wall with his eyes closed but he was listening
"oh...i see...but the others will come to save us" amy says and she sighs
sonic looks down then he realises other then shadow in the corner, they were alone together so sonic decides to talk to amy
"amy?" sonic says
"yes?" amy replies
"umm...do...umm...so you...like anyone...as in...like like?" sonic says and shadow then realises eggman's entire plan
'so that's what he's up to, he's trying to pair these 2 up' shadow thinks '...about time'
"well...umm...yeah...i do" amy says
"oh...so...what's he like?" sonic says
"well he's umm...handsome, he loves food...mainly chilli dogs, he always saves me from danger, he's really cute sometimes and he's always cares about me" amy says with a blush sonic thought was cute "are...you...into anyone?" she asks
"yeah and umm...i've been i love with her for some time" sonic says blushing up
"oh...what is...she like?" amy asked with a blush on her face
"well...she's pretty, she's very strong for her size, she protects me, she cares about me,...she has lovely green eyes and she's cute" sonic says rambling a little and blushing "and...she has fur that reminds me of candy floss and bubble gum"
amy then blushes and she looks at sonic with a smile while sonic looks at her lovenly
"are you..." amy says pointing to herself and sonic nods
"amy, i wanted to tell you for quite a while now but...i lo-" sonic says but he was cut off by the door falling in and tails, knuckles and sticks being there
"sonic! amy! are you 2 ok?" tails says and both hedgehogs and shadow look at them
"yeah, we're fine" sonic says as tails let's them out the cage
"let's beat up eggman!" sticks says and she holds out her boomerang
sonic looks at amy and he was sad that he didn't confess to her quick enough
"no! leave him, let's just...go home" sonic says sadly and he walks to the door
shadow sighs then he teleports in front of sonic and he turns him around
"shadow! what-" sonic says and shadow then pushes sonic into amy
sonic lands into amy and their lips met as amy looks up at sonic, they were shocked at first but then sonic closes his eyes to like the moment followed by amy
"yes sonic!" tails cheered
"go sonic!" knuckles says "...wait...why are we cheering?"
"well done amy!" sticks says
sonic and amy then broke apart looked blushed up then sonic looks at amy
"as i was saying" sonic says "i love you and i want to know, will you be my girlfriend?"
"yes! i've always wanted to hear that from you" amy says happily and she kisses him again
shadow then smirks then he takes off the device off his head, he then teleports away and everyone else leaves the lair, eggman the entire time was asleep but he recorded everything on a camera he had in the corner so he can watch what happened when he woke up, a while later amy and sonic were sitting on a chair outside sonic's house watching the sunset while cuddling
"oh i'm so glad i have you as my boyfriend now" amy says kissing sonic on the cheek
"yeah i'm glad to be your boyfriend" sonic says "and i will protect you and make sure nobody will hurt you"
"aww sonic" amy says "your so cute"
"more handsome but cute fine too" sonic says with a little blush
"your that too" amy says and they kiss again
"you taste like candy floss and bubble gum, like your fur colour" sonic says after the kiss and amy giggles
"stop it you" amy says giving sonic a playful shove and sonic laughs
amy then gets up as the sun was already gone and it was getting dark
"well i suppose i'll be heading home, you can join me if you want" amy says kneeling so she can look sonic in the face
"i will but you go on without me, i got to do something first" sonic says
"ok meet you at my home" amy says and she gives sonic a kiss before leaving
sonic watches her go then he gets up, he goes into his house to do something and when he comes out he was met by shadow who was leaning on his house
"oh shadow!" sonic says seeing the black and red hedgehog "i want to thank you for...you know...helping me"
"don't sweat it hedgehog" shadow says "i'm just glad you finally decided to make amy yours"
"yeah me too" sonic says "well...i better go to bed" he says and yawns "i guess i see you around...on your own terms that is"
"sure hedgehog" shadow says and he sits up "see you"
"wait! before you go...can i have a hug? i know hugging isn't your thing but-" sonic says and he was cut off by shadow hugging him
sonic hugged back and when they part shadow gives a smirk to sonic before disappearing, sonic smiles then he zooms off to amy's house, with eggman and he was happy after watching the camera footage
"i so glad they are together now" eggman says "and it all thanks to me and...shadow..."
"i think you did a good job boss, despite shadow not being really hypnotised by your device" orbot says
"but...how did he know?" eggman asked
"maybe cause he saw the name of the device and the on/off switch at the back" cubot says
"maybe but i don't care" eggman says "come, it's bed time" and eggman heads to bed
orbot and cubot then high-5 then follow eggman to his bedroom
