Pokemon - Amourshipping - We're Back Home

It was ash's last day in the kalos region and he was happy to go back home to meet everyone but he was going to miss clemont and bonnie, serena happily was going with him for multiple reasons, she can visit kanto again, her mom let her go after meeting and approving of her and ash's relationship, ash's mom wanted to meet her, she wanted to meet ash's pokemon, she made a promise to ash to never leave his side before his battle with alain and lastly togepi was their pokemon child and she didn't want her parents to all of a sudden to have a distant relationship not seeing them both together anymore, ash and serena were at the airport with clemont and bonnie saying goodbye
"it was very nice traveling around kalos with you two" ash says happily "i promise we'll meet again" he adds
"ok ash and when we do we can have a battle" clemont says determined
ash nods then bonnie hugs serena and serena sighs, hands togepi to ash then hugs her back
"i'm going to miss you serena, it was nice traveling with you and you were like a older sister to me" bonnie says sobbing
"it was nice traveling with you too bonnie, good luck starting your journey" serena says after the hug and bonnie smiles wiping her tears away
"dedenne dedede" 'it was nice meeting you pikachu and togepi' dedenne says from bonnie's bag
"pikachu pika pika pi" 'it was nice meeting you too dedenne' pikachu says happily
"toge togepree" 'i hope we met again' togepi says happily
"dede..." 'yeah...' dedenne says with a smile
serena and ash then leave and they take the plane to kanto, a few long hours later and they finally reached kanto, ash then calls his mom when they find a phone
"hello ash~ i'm glad you're back" ash's mom says happy to see ash
"yeah and i have serena with me too" ash says looking at serena with a smile then back at his mom
"oh! i can't wait to meet her" ash's mom says happily
ash smiles then he was pushed back a little by pikachu
"pikachu~" 'hello~' pikachu says happily to see ash's mom
"well hello pikachu, it nice to see you too" ash's mom says happily
"ok mom, we're heading out now, we'll meet you in a while" ash says ending the call
"ok ash, meet you later" ash's mom says and she ends the call
ash then goes to serena and they start to head off
"togepree?" 'who was that?' togepi asks confused on who the lady on the screen was
"pikachu pika pi pikachu pi" 'that was ash's mom' pikachu says looking at togepi
"pr-pr to-to?" 'papa's mama?' togepi says confused "toge to-to to-to?" 'like mama's mama?' she says as she had met serena's mom but serena was to distracted to say anymore about it
"pi" 'yes' pikachu says then he gets a thought "pikachu pika pi pika pikachu pika pika pi" 'you could say that she and serena's moms are your grandmothers' he says with a smug
"togeto-to..." 'grandmama...' togepi says thinking it over "togeto-to!" 'grandmama!' she says happily
ash and serena then hear what she said and they blush
"i'm not sure what my mom would think of that but..." ash says with a shrug "she won't understand what she's saying so i guess it's a pass" he adds
"same here" serena says also shrugging "my mom didn't understand what she was saying but she know that togepi was happy" she adds
ash and serena never really told their moms that the togepi was their child cause they didn't know how they would react so they are leaving it till they were ready, as they walked ash was pointing out to serena where a certain memory happed when he did his kanto journey like they walked passed the pokemon center where ash met team rocket and the place where ash and pikachu were injured after pikachu's really strong thunder like attack, they then made it to pallet town and ash shows serena and togepi where he lived
"here is my house and oh look! there's mr.mime" ash says and he sees his moms pokemon mimey
"your mom has a mr.mime?" serena says confused
"yep, and i helped her get it" ash says happily "i'll tell you the story later" he says happily
"ok" serena says also happy
they then reach ash's house and then ash was tackled by his mom
"hi mom..." ash says a little embarrassed by his moms hug
"oh ash, i've missed you but as usual i waited for the day when you came back" ash's mom says happily then she sees serena "oh and hello to you serena, it's nice to finally meet you" she says
"it's nice to meet you to mrs ketchem" serena says happily
"togeto-to!" 'grandmama!' togepi says happily and ash's mom looks at her
"aww! i see you have a togepi, one of ash's friend used to have a togepi but i bet he already told you that" ash's mom says and serena nods
"he did and he also told me his memories on things when we were walking back" serena says happily
"oh good! well you and ash settle down while i'll make lunch and after lunch ash will probably go to professor oak to see his pokémon" ash's mom says "also you can call me delia"
"ok thanks delia" serena says politely then she sits on the sofa next to ash "your mom is very nice" she says and ash smiles
"she sure is" ash says with a smile then mr.mime appears cleaning up
"hello mr.mime" serena says getting the psychic type pokemon's attention
"togepree~" 'hello~' togepi says happily
"mr.mime, mr mr.mime" 'hello, nice to meet you' mr.mime says happily
ash's mom then returned with food and ash with his mom were telling serena stories like what serena and her mom did when ash was over, after eating ash, pikachu, serena and togepi leave ash's mom then head over to professor oak's lab
"professor oak is the person who takes care of my pokemon, he had a big garden where he keeps all of them and he even has some wild pokemon in there too" ash explains
"wow, do him and professor sycamore know each other?" serena ask
"sure do and i think professor oak knows all the professor from each region, i think they have a annual professor meeting or something" ash says in a joking tone but it still made serena giggle
"i'm glad that both our moms are ok with our relationship" serena says and ash smiles leaning into her
"i'm glad too" ash says lovenly and they share a kiss
they then finally make it to the professor's lab and when they enter the professor was there on his computer before noticing the pair
"oh hello ash, it's nice to see you again" professor oak says happy to see ash
"it sure is professor" ash says happily "and this is my companion serena, she was with me on my kalos journey" he adds intrducing serena to the professor
"it nice to meet you professor, ash has talked a lot about you" serena say and professor oak smiles
"it's nice to meet you too serena and that is a nice togepi you have" oak says looking at togepi
"pi?" 'huh?' togepi says confused on oak taking her away from serena
"this is a nice healthy togepi" oak says happily then hands togepi back to serena "you've have taken really good care of it"
"it's a her and thank you" serena says and togepi smiles
"togepree~" 'yay!' togepi says happily
"can i see my pokemon now?" ash asks and oak laughs
"sure you can, you know where your pokemon are" oak says and ash gets happy before takes serena's hand
he made sure serena had a good hold onto togepi before they run off into the garden, oak watches then go then chuckles
"young love..." oak mumbles then he gets back to work
ash and serena then made it to the garden and then ash finds his bulbasaur
"hey bulbasaur!" ash says seeing his grass type starter and bulbasaur runs over
"bulba!" 'hey ash!' bulbasaur says happily
"pi pikachu!" 'hi bulbasaur!' pikachu says happily
"bulbasaur!" 'hi pikachu!' bulbasaur says to the yellow mouse
"hey bulbasaur, can you call everyone over? i have someone to show them" ash says and bulbasaur happily obeys
he fires a solarbeam into the air and everyone was amazed, then after a bit all of ash's previous pokemon were gathered in the big field with ash and serena happy to see them all, all the pokemon that were there were bulbasaur, charizard, kingler, muk, all 30 tauros, snorlax, heracross, bayleef, quilava, totodile, noctowl, donphan, swellow, sceptile, corphish, torkoal, glaile, staraptor, torterra, infenape, buizel, gliscor, gible, unfezant, oshawatt, pignite, snivy, scraggy, leavanny, palpitoad, boldore and krockodile
"hello again everyone, did you miss me?" ash says and all the pokemon reply happily "good well...i like you all to meet serena...my girlfriend" he says pointing to serena with a blush on his face and all the pokemon stay quiet
"hello...i'm serena" serena says happily "it's nice to meet you all" she says happily
all the pokemon then cried happily and then ash releases his pokémon which were greninja, talonflame, hawlucha, noivern and goodra
"and here are some new friends" ash says and all the pokemon went to meet each other
greninja then went over to serena and she knew who he wanted so she released her pokemon which were delphox, sylveon, pancham and pip
greninja and delphox then go off and pikachu was introducing pip to everyone, togepi also joins them and ash watches as serena was petting charizard on the head which he loved, he smiled and blushes on how cute serena was being and he was happy to keep her, a while later after the big meet up ash and serena were walking around the gardens while togepi, pikachu and pip with the other pokemon were having a blast together
"so tomorrow, i will show you the place where we first met" ash says happily
"really? oh that awesome" serena says happily and she cuddles ash
ash smiles and then they carry on with ash's tour of the garden, when they got back serena picks up togepi as she wanted to be with them again and when they enter the lab again ash was met with familiar faces
"it's ash" one person which was ash's old friend brock says
"hi again ash" the other person which was ash's other old friend misty says holding a azurill and they go over to him
"hi brock, misty" ash says happily "what are you two doing here?"
"we heard you were back and we haven't seen you in a while so we thought we visit" misty says then both brock and misty notices serena
"this is serena, she was my companion when i went to kalos and she's also my...girlfriend" ash says and he pulls his hat over his face
brock and misty stay quiet for a moment then they gasp in shock
"YOUR GIRLFRIEND!" both brock and misty says in shock and serena with togepi were really confused
"i knew they'll act like this" ash says mumbling and serena heard
"oh ash, i'm so happy for you" brock says happily "i was wondering if you would ever get one but now here she is" he says and he goes to serena "hi i'm brock, i'm ash's long time friends and i'm so proud your his girlfriend...makes me feel old" he says and serena was confused
misty on the other hand was a little jealous and confused, she thought ash loved her but now he has a girlfriend and she was jealous
"so tell me, where did you meet him?" brock says wanting to know
"we were childhood friends and i met him when him and i was 7 at a camp, i got my leg injured trying to chase a poliwag and he wrapped a hanky around my leg and took me back to camp, we then had a bond but then i had to leave" serena says "i then found him again in kalos and gave back his hanky then we traveled kalos together with 2 others and then...we started to have crushed on each other then we became boyfriend and girlfriend" she explains with a smile
"aww that sounds so romantic" brock says happily
"what also is funny is that i'm not the only one in a relationship, pikachu has one too in serena's pikachu called pip" ash says happily "aww! i'm so happy for him" brock says overjoyed
misty stayed quiet as she was jealous but then she notices togepi in serena's arm, it made her think about her togepi and how much she missed him so she had to ask
"hey serena?" misty says getting serena's attention "where did you get your togepi from?"
"me and ash found her as an egg and then she hatched in my arms, she now thinks we are her parents but me and ash don't mind and play along" serena explains "i'm also sorry if our togepi brings back memories of yours" she says apologeticly
"it's...ok" misty says with a sigh "it was nice meeting you and ash, i better be going back to my gym" she says trying not to saund sad and she goes off
serena watches her go feeling sorry for her thinking she misses her togepi and then she watches ash and brock have a catch up, meanwhile misty goes outside the lab then she sighs
'you are lucky ash...she's a keeper...unlike me...goodbye' misty thought then she goes off back to her gym
back inside and brock with ash and serena went outside so brock can check all of ash's new pokemon for their health
"they are all healthy ash" brock says happily after checking over talonflame
"oh good, i did have help from clemont and bonnie who also traveled with us" ash says "and i did make sure everyday if they are healthy" he added
"good...also serena, your pokemon are all healthy too" brock says happily
"thanks brock, i did have help from ash and clemont" serena says happily
brock smiles and then he walks pasted them
"well...i better head back to my gym, it was nice to meet you again ash and i hope to see you soon" brock says and he walks off
ash says goodbye then he goes over to serena
"hey serena, where did misty go?" ash asks looking around for her
"she sadly went back to her gym as she was sad" serena says "i think it was cause togepi reminded her of her togepi and she could put stay" she adds
"i see...i'll go meet her when i have the time" ash says a little sad that misty left but then he turns his attention to togepi
he take the baby pokemon out of serena's arms and he cuddles her causing her to giggle
"i hope you were a good girl when brock was checking you over" ash says happily
"toge! toge pr-pr!" 'i was! i was papa!' togepi says happily and ash smiles before nuzzling her making her laugh again
serena watches and she smiles on how cute ash was being and she was happy that she know that ash will be a great dad in the future, a while later and ash and serena decide to head back home with togepi and pikachu, ash and serena decide to leave their pokemon at the lab and they head back to ash's mom house, when they get there they have dinner with serena loving ash's mom's cooking then they went to bed
the next morning after both ash and serena were washed and dressed they head out to the place where ash and serena first met with pikachu and togepi, as they walked they were happily talking and flirting with each other till they made it to the place where they met
"wow!...it's just like how i remembered it" serena says happily and suprised
"toge togepree?" 'what is this place?' togepi asks confused
"this is the place where me and your daddy met" serena says then she realised what she said and blushes
ash chuckles and then he takes togepi from serena
"me and your mommy met right here" ash says showing pikachu and togepi the place where serena fell over then ash appeared "and i wrapped her injured leg up before kindly taking her back to the camp" he says proudly "she was also as cute back then as she is now" he says looking at her lovenly
serena blushes and she joins him giving him a kiss on the cheek
"i love you" serena says and ash smiles
"i love you too" ash replies happily then he puts pikachu and togepi down on a stump
he then goes to serena and holds his hand out like he did at the ball
"care for a dance?" ash says happily
"i'll love to" serena says happily and lovenly and she takes ash's hand
they then started to dance like how they did at the ball and when they were done ash dipped serena then kissed her, she kissed back and it was quite a long kiss before they broke apart for air
"serena?" ash says lovenly and caring holding serena close
"yes ashy?" serena says also lovenly
"i love you so much and i promise when we turn 18, i want to marry you" ash says happily making serena shocked
"oh ash, i'll love to marry you" serena says and they kiss again
after the kiss they hear pikachu and togepi cheer and it made them happy, meanwhile team rocket managed to make it back to vanillion city and they were walking to the team rocket base sadly
"well...back again and to tell the boss we failed again" jessie says sadly
they then make it to the base but it looked closed down
"what happened?" meowth says looking at the closed down building and a lady overheard
"oh haven't you 3 heard?" the lady says "the man who ran this place died a few weeks ago from a serious illness, it was all over the news and everything" she says "here, look at this" she says as she hands james a newspaper
she then walks away and james looks at the front cover of the news paper with jessie and meowth beside him, the front of the newspaper's title reads 'team rocket leader suddenly dies from unknown illness' with a picture of giovanni underneath
"he...he's dead..." meowth says starting to tear up
"but...i needed to know if he's knows where my mom is" jessie says also upset
"now we are jobless and failures" james says upset them they all cry having a group hug
back with serena and ash and they were happily walking over to professor oak's lab to visit their pokemon when a strange person stops them
"hey, are you ash?" the person says
"umm...yes?" ash says not sure what to do
"if you see jessie and james from the now not longer team rocket, can you hand them this?" the person says and hands ash a suitcase "it nothing bad, it's got their previous pokemon in it as well as file info" he explained "well...see you" he says before disappearing
"wow...wait...team rocket's not around anymore?" ash says confused looking at the suitcase that had a big r on the top
"oh yeah...on the news a few weeks ago, they announced that the leader of team rocket passed away from an illness" serena says "but you didn't see it cause you were training with greninja that day"
"wow...ok...poor jessie, james and meowth" ash says sadly since he knew they must be desisted
"i'm sure we'll bump into them again, they always show up" serena says
"yeah..." ash says still a bit sad
they then see some people walk close to them and funny enough, it was former team rocket members jessie, james and meowth who looked so sad and maybe even depressed
"oh...it's the twerp" meowth says sadly seeing ash and serena
both jessie and james look up at the both of them then they sigh
"i'm sorry about your boss passing away" ash says sadly "i knew how much you were loyal to him trying to catch pikachu all the time" he says pointing to his yellow partner
"yeah...now we're jobless" jessie says sadly
"and our pokemon we left with the boss will never be seen again" james says upset he'll never see his pokémon again
"maybe this will change that" ash says holding out the suitcase
jessie, james and meowth see the suitcase and james takes it, he then opens it and all 3 of them sees all the pokeball in there that belonged to both jessie and james, both of them were happy to see their pervious pokemon once again and they waste no time on releasing them, they then all have a group hug except for meowth who was still quite sad
"now what do i do? i only joined team rocket so i can impress the boss but now...i have nobody to look up to" meowth says sadly and pikachu goes over to him
'that's not true' pikachu says 'you have these 2 to look up to and you didn't need somebody who obsessively didn't care about you, you are your own meowth and i'm glad you followed me all around, i couldn't of had a better pokemon to be stuck with those multiple times' he explains making meowth tear up
"ok pikachu!" meowth says happily hugging the mouse pokemon and this also gained the attention of ash, serena, jessie and james "i'm sorry for all the trouble i caused you, you are a great pokemon to the twerp and i hope you can forgive me" he says upset
'i do and i always do' pikachu says and meowth looks at him
"but...why?" meowth says confused yet happy
'i'm a very forgiving pokémon' pikachu says happily and then meowth hugs him again
jessie smiles then she decides to look in the suitcase to see what else was in there but she didn't expect to find a folder about her mother
"what?" jessie says shocked and confused as she looks though it
"what is it jessie?" james says seeing her confused
"this...this folder is about...my mom" jessie says a little upset "and...it says here she might...still be alive" she says shocked
"looks like you went from being jobless to going on a mission" ash says
"yeah...and we need to find her!" jessie says determined
james was the last one to look thought the case and he finds a letter inside that was from his parents, he opens it and he was shocked to read it
"what's up jimmy?" meowth says seeing james happy
"this letter was sent a week after the boss died from my parents and they said that i no longer need to marry jessabelle since she is now going out with someone called jamesbert and i can go home whenever i want to meet my parents again as well as growlie" james explains "they also say that they have got my chimecho that i left with my grandparents and he's all better" he finished saying
jessie and james then look at each other and then they have a friend hug, meowth was happy for his best friends but he still felt a bit sad
"meowth?" 'hello?' a voice says and pikachu and meowth look over to see a female meowth
the other meowth goes over to meowth and she smiles
"meow meowth meowth" 'you're cute, i like you' the female meowth says and she licks meowth's cheek making him blush
"wow...she's a looker" meowth says happily and the female meowth giggles
"meowth meow meow, meowth meow" 'you can walk and talk, that's adorable' the girl meowth says happily and lovenly
"you...think my walking and talking is adorable?!" meowth says shocked and the girl meowth nods
"meowth meowth meow meowth meowth meow" 'i love weird and out of place things and you are adorable' the girl meowth says happily then she notices pikachu 'is he your friend?' she says pointing to pikachu
meowth looks at pikachu then back at the meowth with a smile
"he sure is" meowth says happily
'oh i love that!' the female meowth says even more happy and she rubs agents meowth 'i think you and me were meant to be together' she says happily making meowth blush
"toge togepree, togepree toge togepree~" 'yay! auntie jessie, uncle james and uncle meowth' togepi says happily cheering for the 3 of them
ash looks at all three of the former team rocket members and see how happy they have become, he then decides that he and serena should leave them and they do with james happy he can go back home, jessie has a mission to find her long lost mother and meowth now has a girlfriend, a while later as ash and serena were still with their pokemon serena was petting ash's charizard who had taken a liking to her then she notices ash, ash was asleep by a tree and holding togepi who was also asleep like he was holding a newborn baby, this made her giggle and she sighs
'ash...you are proving yourself more and more on how a good dad you're going to be' serena thought happily and she goes back to charizard
a little later after ash wakes up and it was dusk, ash and serena were about to head back to ash's house when he heard a familiar call, he turns around and he sees a pidgeot and a butterfree with a yellow bow on
"butterfree? pidgeot?" ash says and the pair nod
he then goes over and gives them a hug, he then hears another noise and he turns to see a squirtle running towards him, the squirtle then jumps into ash's arms and he hugs him
"hey guys! it nice to see all 3 of you again" ash says happily "and i like you all to meet serena, my girlfriend" he says happily
all 3 of them look at serena and they were happy for their trainer
"hey squirtle? what are you doing here anyway?" ash says realising
"officer jenny said that you can now permanently keep squirtle now" a voice says and ash and serena turn to see oak "she said that squirtle's 4 friends have all evolved into blastoise but squirtle refuses to evolve so since she heard you were back in kanto she says you can have him" he explained
"really squirtle? you want to stay with me?" ash says happily
"squirt!" 'yes!' squirtle says happily and ash was happy
he then turns to butterfree and pidgeot and pets them
"do you two want to stay with me again too?" ash asks and they both nod making ash happy
"ok then, welcome to your permanent home guys!" ash says happily and the 3 pokemon cheer
squirtle then runs off to meet his best friend bulbasaur, pidgeot went to see the other bird pokemon ash has caught and butterfree flies off to see what's around
"i'm so happy for you ash" serena says happily with a warm smile
"toge pr-pr!" 'me too papa!' togepi says and ash smiles widely
"hey ash!" a new voice says and ash looks to see it was his childhood rival gary
"gary?!" ash says suprised to see him
"long time, no see" gary says then he notices serena "hey...i remember you, your that girl from the camp me and ash went to" he says and serena smiles
"yep that's me, i'm serena" serena says happily "and i remember you too, i remember you teasing ash whenever you had the chance too"
gary chuckles and then he rubs ash's cap happily
"what can i say, he's like a little brother to me" gary says happily then he notices pikachu wasn't with ash "hey ash? where's your pikachu?" he asks
"he with his girlfriend but i don't know where" ash says with a shrug
gary laughs a little and then he sees serena had got distracted by oak being attacked by ash's muk
"i'm happy for you ash, you managed to get something before i did" gary says pointing to serena
ash blushes then he sees togepi run over to him as she was put down by serena
"pr-pr!" 'papa!' togepi says happily and ash picks her up
"that...sound to long for your name ash" gary says confused on what togepi called him
"it's cause...she says...ash ash" ash lied but gary didn't notice
"whatever, i'm going inside, it's almost dinner time" gary says "it was nice to meet you again ashy boy" he says and he goes off
ash watches him go then he sighs, he then looks at togepi and she squeaks happily looking back at him
"ash, i think we should go back, your mom will be worried" serena says and ash nods
they then head back and after dinner that ash's mom made they head to bed and pikachu spends the night with pip which ash didn't mind, the next day and today was a relaxing day so serena and ash were in the back garden, serena was playing with togepi which togepi loved while ash was grooming pikachu
"how was your night with pip, buddy?" ash asked his yellow partner
pikachu just blushes while rubbing the back of his head
"pika...pikachu" 'it was...romantic' pikachu says and ash smiles
"i'm happy for you buddy" ash says "you and pip are getting along really well...is there going to be a wedding?" he teased making pikachu blush more which made him laugh
pikachu then covers his face with his paws as he blushes and sparks of electricity spark off his cheeks, meanwhile at oaks lab and serena's pokemon had gathered together since they haven't seen each other in 2 days
'so what do you guys think of kanto?' sylveon asks
'i love it!' pip says happily
'me too!' delphox says also happy
'same!' pancham adds happily
'oh good i though it was just me' sylveon says happily and all the pokemon laugh
back with ash and serena and they were happy playing with togepi and pikachu while ash's mom was out to get some shopping when they hear a voice
"hey twerp!" the voice of jessie says making serena and ash look at her
jessie was at the fence with james and meowth and they weren't in their team rocket outfit, instade they were wearing casual clothes and jessie looked like this was going to be important
"what's up?" ash asks going over to them
"we...we need your help" jessie says "we want you to come along with us on our mission"
"what? your mom rescue mission?" ash says and jessie nods
"i...can't do it alone...even with james and meowth we can't do it so...will you help?" jessie says feeling guilty
"sure! i love to help" ash says happily not giving it a second thought "it is your mother we are going after and i've already met james' family" he says and james had a worried look on his face
"thanks twerp, we are setting off tomorrow so you better chose a steam that can be used in a snowy mountain since that is where my mom last seen" jessie says "me and james have already chose ours"
"wait! i want to know, where are you staying?" serena asks curious
"my parents have offered us a house not far from here and we are staying there" james says "they also gave us some money for food, clothes and other things" he adds
"oh good, i was worried you all be sleeping outside or something" serena says
"me too" ash says happily "well...we see you tomorrow" he says and he heads inside
serena waves at them and she follows him inside leaving the former team rocket members alone, they then start walking back to the house and all 3 of them were happy that serena and ash cared about their wellbeing, back with ash and he was sitting on the sofa thinking on a team he can use
"you thinking of your team?" serena asks and ash nods
"it need to be a good team...and i think i got it" ash says happily
"good, i think i know what pokemon to bring too" serena says happily
ash didn't like the idea serena going with him since it might be dangerous but he knows he can't stop her which reminded him of himself, he smiles then he tells serena which pokemon he's going to take, later that day ash received the pokémon he was going to use and he chose pikachu, charizard, staraptor, greninja, goodra and donphan while serena has all 4 of her pokemon ready, later it was dinner time then ash and serena have a good night sleep ready for their mission tomorrow and they were excited.
the next day ash and serena got ready chasing things to have for a snowy mountain then they met jessie, james and meowth a few feet outside ash's house
"you kids ready?" jessie asks getting a nod from the pair "let's go" she says and they set off on they little journey
sometime later and they all made it to the mountain, they then get dressed into winter gear before heading up the mountain and after a lot of climbing they managed to for reasons unknown find a cottage and they head inside
"oh look a fireplace" meowth says happily seeing the fireplace "now we just need some wood"
"don't worry, i grabbed a supply of them before we left" serena says and she pulls out a trash bag full of firewood from her bag (bags are bigger on the inside lol), she then puts the wood on the fire then she sends out delphox to light it and after it was lit she returns delphox then sits next to ash
"your the best you know that' ash says happily
"yes, i do" serena replies giving ash a warm smile
james then grabs a map from his pocket and he looks over it
"ok...we are here...and the cave...is here" james says pointing to the map
"what's in the cave?" ash asks
"it's where my mom was last seen going in" jessie says sounding a bit sad
"what was your mom doing up here anyway?" serena asks curious
"she...was sent on a mission to...find mew" jessie says "but then she never came back...i thought she died but...the file that was in the suitcase says that she's still alive" she explains "so now we're looking for her"
"...if we do find your mom...are you going to be happy to see her or upset she left you" serena says sadly
"...maybe...more happy then upset but hopefully...she has a reason to not coming back" jessie says
"i hope she does too" james mumbles to himself then he puts the map away
they decide to stay in the cottage and soon they fell asleep after having a packed lunch ash's mom made for everyone, ash was asleep agents the wall with serena on his shoulder with his head ontop of hers and togepi was in ash's arm, jessie was asleep on the other side of the room lying in her sleeping bag, meowth was asleep by the fire with pikachu sleeping on him but the only one who wasn't asleep was james and he had a lot on his mind
he was mainly thinking about his relationship with jessie and yes he did love her but...he wasn't sure if he wants anything to do with love anymore, his mind haunts him about the responsibilities of married life but he doesn't realise they were fake thoughts, he sighs and then he hears a noise
"toge toge?" 'uncle james?' togepi says and james looks at her
"...are you supposed to be asleep?" james asks confused and mumbling it so the others don't wake up
togepi knows something is wrong with james so she jumps in his arms and snuggles his cheek, he was suprised by togepi's action but then he calms down
"thanks..." james whispers sounding happy
togepi quietly squeaks knowing that her parents and pikachu as well as jessie and meowth are asleep, she then gets sleepy and then she falls asleep in james' arms as she think james might need company, james smirks then he falls asleep himself as togepi helped him push all his stress away
the next day and jessie was the first one to wake up, she streches and then she looks around, she first sees ash and serena still asleep like they were when she went to sleep, she then looks at meowth and pikachu where were still asleep together in front of the fireplace which has gone out and lastly she looks at james, james was asleep agents the wall with his lead on the draws and he had togepi in his arms hugging his arm like she was a komala (they know all the gen 7 pokemon for reasons unknown), jessie smiles and then she goes over to him
"hey james" jessie whispers shaking james
"mmm...what is it, jessie?" james says waking up but he was still sleepy
"why do you have togepi?" jessie asks curiously
"she came to me thinking i needed company and then she fell asleep" james says looking at togepi then back at jessie
"...i wish she came to me...i needed it more then you" jessie says a bit jealous
"don't worry jessie, i'm here to keep you company" james says with a little visible blush "you just need to ask"
jessie looks at james and a blush came to her face, he smiles at her with his own blush then meowth and pikachu wakes up
"what's happenin'?" meowth says like he was in a daze
"pikachu pika pika pikachu?" 'that's a weird way to say good morning?' pikachu says confused
meowth just laughs and jessie starts getting ready to set out again, meowth's laughter caused togepi to wake up and she streches before looking at james who was watching jessie
"togepi~" 'hello~' togepi says tiredly
james looks at her then he smiles at her before petting her, togepi loved being petted and she enjoyed the affection, james then puts her down cause pikachu wanted to see her
"pi pi pi" 'togepi' pikachu says happily hugging togepi
togepi smiles then after pikachu hugs her she goes and hugs meowth which he didn't expect but he loved it, a while later and everyone was finally up, they then set off again and finally find the cave jessie had been looking for, they enter inside and have a look around
"wow...this looks like a ruins" serena says seeing all the rocks that had pictures on them
"i think it cause they are ruins" ash says feeling the pictures on the wall
they all look around looking at the pictures telling of a story about the pokémon mew, from what ash can tell the story is about when mew came into the world, it was praise as a god as it was the pokemon to make all the other pokemon in the world, but then overtime mew disappeared from the people and they moved on with their lives now thinking mew doesn't exist anymore, ash thought it was sad that everyone just forgot of mew and serena thought so too, they then notice the big door in the middle of the cave
"i wonder where this goes?" meowth asks confused
"i don't know but...let's see if it opens" ash says and he goes to the door
he looks around the door to se if it opens then he notices a bag in the corner of the room, he goes over and brings it out so everyone can see
"i found a bag!" ash says making everyone look at him
meowth then goes over and looks in the bag after ash places it down, after looking meowth comes out of the bag then looks at jessie
"i think...you should see this jessie" meowth says seriously and jessie goes over
she looks in the bag then she pulls out a picture, the picture was of her and it made her shocked
"this...is my mom's bag" jessie says shocked with tears falling from her face
"aww you look cute jessie" james says as he sees the picture
"and i can see you never changed your hairstyle" meowth says "the only difference is that there is now yellow bow on the end of your hair" he adds
jessie smiles and then she finds a diary also in the bag under some spare clothes, she picks it up and turns to the last diary entry
'dear diary, i have finally found the ruins where mew was last seen, i've been in here for a while trying to find out how to open the big door on the center of the room but i can find anything...ugh! this is annoying' the top entry of the page says and on the bottom entry says which is the last entry 'dear diary, i've found how to open the door, you need to say these words to the door' it says and jessie reads the words before going to the door
"oh great door of mew, open up so you can show us what mew is doing today!" jessie shouts and the door slowly replies
it then opens and inside is a lovely garden paradise
"wow, come on, let's go in" ash says and they all head inside
when they enter they look around and see a place that looks to be undisturbed for many years, there was pokemon everywhere and they all looked happy
"wow...this place is...beautiful" serena says happily and the other agreed
"hey! what are you...doing here?" a voice says and they all turn to see a lady with long purple hair and a scruffy team rocket outfit "jessie? is that you?" she says happily knowing who jessie was
"mom?" jessie says and her now mother nods happily
"jessie!" jessie's mom says upset and her with jessie have a hug "oh! i missed you so much! i thought i would never see you again"
"same here mom" jessie says happily and they pull away from the hug
the others watch happily then a noise was heard, they look over and see it was a mew
"mew mew?" 'who are you' mew asks everyone
"hello!" ash says happily
"mew mew mew mew, mew mew mew mew mew" 'oh i remember you, your that kid that mewtwo and i accidently turned to stone' mew says with meowth translating it, it then goes over to ash "mew mew mew mew mew mew" 'i'm so glad to see you again' it says happily
"it's nice to meet you too mew" ash says happily
"mew! mew mew mew mew mew mew mew" 'oh! and i recognise you 3 as well' mew says pointing to jessie, james and meowth "mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew" 'i remember following you 3 to the cloning room' it adds
"so you met mew before?" jessie's mom says confused
"yeah it's a long story but that not why we're here, we're here to see you again" jessie says "and also tell you that team rocket is over, the boss giovanni passed away a few weeks ago and we got a folder on where you were so we came on a rescue mission" she explained
"oh jessie, i'm glad you came" jessie's mom says and hugs again "and i'm sorry i couldn't be with you growing up, this door shut on me locking me in here forever" she says "i didn't even had a strong pokemon to help me get out"
"it's ok mom, we're here now" jessie says happily
jessie's mom smiles and then she decides to pay attention to the others
"so who are your friends?" jessie's mom asked
jessie smiles then they step out of the garden into the cave while mew was playing with pikachu, togepi and meowth
"so that's it then...team rocket is over and done with" jessie's mom says as they all sit on the steps
"yeah...the boss died of a serious illness a couple of weeks ago" jessie replies sadly "so that means you, me and james are jobless at the moment since we all worked for team rocket"
"what about those 2?" jessie's mom asked pointing to ash and serena who were watching the pokemon play
"these 2 who the boss wanted us to steal from, mainly that pikachu" jessie says pointing to pikachu "also meowth is from team rocket and he talks which helps us translate pokemon talk" she adds pointing to meowth and jessie's mom smirks making jessie smirk
"so...how long was i gone?" jessie's mom says changing the subject
"for...umm...20 years" jessie says making jessie's mom shocked
"really? that long?" jessie's mom says "i need to do some serious catch up" she adds and it made jessie laugh
"so...have you got any relationships going on" jessie's mom says and jessie sighs
"no...i had a few crushes but i had to let them go cause i was in team rocket" jessie says "but i will find one"
"what about him?" jessie's mom says pointing to james who was watching meowth "don't you fancy him?"
"umm...i uhh..." jessie says with a blush and jessie's mom knows that look which made her smile
"aww! so you do have a crush on him" jessie's mom says "why haven't you ask him out yet?"
"i...uhh...was waiting...till after i save you yes!" jessie says a little worried but jessie's mom understood
"i see...well now you saved me" jessie's mom says "and i'm happy to see you again, you can do what you want"
"i've been doing that already" jessie says "but i want to mainly reknow you since we missed 20 years together" she adds
"i love to spend time with you jessie, i've missed you as much as you missed me" jessie's mom says and they hug
they then see mew, pikachu, togepi and meowth come over to all of them
"mew mew mew mew, mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew" 'i see you're going, i will leave this door open to the garden so all of you can come back anytime' mew says happily "mew...mew mew mew" 'just...don't tell anyone' it adds
"we won't mew, we promise and we're very good at keeping promises" ash says happily and mew spins in joy
they then all leave using charizard and staraptor carring everyone and they soon made it back to pallet town, they then get off the flying pokemon and ash returns them
"thanks for the help twerp and twerpette...well see you soon" jessie says and they walk away
ash and serena wave to them then they go inside, they spend the day talking about what happened then soon it was dinner time then bed time and the couple kiss goodnight before going to sleep, with jessie, james and meowth and they were in james' parents house, jessie's mom was cooking in some new clothes jessie gave her, meowth was being groomed by his girlfriend and jessie was thinking outside, james then joins her
"what's up jess?" james asks curious
"hey james...do you...like like me?" jessie says with a blush and james smiles before grabbing her hands
"i've liked you since we first met but i couldn't show it for a long time since i was scared of love and i'm more scared of marriage since jessabelle scared me a little but seeing the twerp and the twerpette's relationship made me change my mind about love and my love for you" james explains and jessie was happy
"oh james, i love you too" jessie says and they have a kiss
when the kiss was over they smile at each other then they look at the full moon where mew flies passed it with sparkles following it
