"I can't believe it, I mean, this can't be happening, I mean I'm glad but why did he ask me?" I tried to control my voice as me and Miki leaned against the brick building.

"I know! I'm so happy for you babe!" Miki hugged me.

"Maybe I could convince him to bring Luke along one time, and you could tag along," I said cheekily, winking at her.

Miki laughed, "you are the best Julia, I would love that! Anyway I have to go, Mum's going to pick me up at the train station, I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon."

"Don't leave me," I begged her, "when something good is finally happening to me, you can't even be there!" She smiled at me sadly.

"I'm sorry, but honestly my mom's going to kill me if I'm not there, its at 2 o'clock sharp! You know how she is." I laughed at her imitation of her mother.

"Ok, but I'll call you when I get home," I hugged her again.

"Tell me all about it!" she giggled, waving madly as she started to walk down the busy path towards the station.

"I will!" I felt butterflies in my stomach as I was left on my own.

Sliding down the brick wall, I leaned my head back and sung softly to myself, dreaming of me and Jai, taking on the world together.

"Hey you, Julia right?" Jai plopped himself on the ground next to me.

"Finally finished, wait how do you know my name?" I asked, my heart pounding a million miles an hour.

"A little bird came and whispered it in my ear," he laughed.

"I forgot how many fans I actually have." I watched him as he brushed his long fringe to the side, wishing I could live in that moment forever. Just me and Jai.

I snatched his Chicago Bulls snapback off his head and ran off laughing, hearing his shoes clap against the cobbled path, his sweet laugh catching me in the wind.

Jumping down three concrete steps, I pulled the hat on my head and found myself at the end of the path, a large Bay stretched out beside me, the water a murky black colour. Long arms sneaked around my waist and I squealed as he spun me around.

For a few seconds the world was spinning and then I was staring up at the sky, the sun streaming its golden rays on my face.

"Do you want it back?" I sat up, grinning cheekily.

"Nah, you can keep it, it looks better on you anyway." I threw my arms around his neck and breathed in his deep scent.

"Why did you choose me out of all those girls?" I asked, puling myself away as I fingered the bracelet he had given me.

"Why not? I'm liking you every second," he pulled the hat over my eyes. I giggled.

"But seriously," I listened for his voice, my eyes in complete darkness.

"I just had that feeling." He was quiet for a second. "It sounds cheesy, but it was like my heart was telling me that you were the one. You seemed pretty special." He lifted the hat so I was staring into his hypnotizing eyes.
