Sparks fly

I opened my eyes sleepily, and closed them again, trying to get my fuzzy brain to work out where I was. When I opened them again a pair of deep brown eyes were staring into mine.

Thats when it all came rushing back. I had gone with Miki to the Janoskians's meet and greet yesterday. I had met Jai, fallen for him (not that I already had), jumped in the river and then finally came home with him which was exactly where I wanted to be.

"How long have you been watching me sleep," I murmured.

"A while," his voice sounded husky, but still hot.

"You perv," I giggled and sat up, patting clumps of my soft hair, hoping that it wasn't a crazy birds nest.

He groaned and rubbed the remains of sleep from his eyes.

I leaned down and ran a hand hrough his soft wavy fringe, brushing it acros his forehead so it was out of his eyes.

He smiled and pulled my head down, my lips were inches from his when the door suddenly opened and Luke's surprised face poked through the door.

"Whats going in on here?" he smirked.

Jai tossed a pillow at his head and it ended up hitting Beau's face as he walked past Jai's room.

I burst into laughter at Beau's face.

"This means war!"

He dived onto the bed on top of both me and Jai.

"Why does this always turn into fighting," I groaned, suffocating under Beau's heavy body.

"Get off Beau!"

"Bombs away!" Luke toppled onto the pile

"No Luke!" Jai yelled.

I screamed and giggled, pushing at Beau until I could finally see the light.

"If you kill her, I'm gonna kill you guys."

Beau rolled off the bed laughing with his contagious girly laugh, it soon caught me and I was in tears. I was loving these boys every second.

"We're going to the skate park, better hurry up you two," Beau raced the door.

Luke bowed and made his way to the door.

"I will leave you two so you can go back to what you were doing before," Luke grinned and winked at me before walking out the door.

Jai sat up and stretched out his legs, scratching his head.

He flashed me a cute smile.

"Gonna come?"

"I wouldn't miss it for the world, now get it out I'm getting changed," I giggled, pushing him out the door.

"Okay, chill girl," he rummaged around in his closet for a few seconds before blowing me a kiss and striding towards the door, closing it behind him.

I slipped into my dry denim shorts, navy blue vans and tugged Jai's grey swetashirt over my head. Swiping my snapback off the ground, I slammed it on top of my wavy hair and skipped out the door, feeling like I was on top of the world.

I sat down on the cold concrete ground and watched Jai dip down into the bowl of the skate park on his green penny board. His bare brown arms by his side, eyes squinted in the bright sun, concentrating, brown curly hair peeking out of his blue beanie.

Tucking his penny under his arm, he took a run up and clambered up the side of the steep bowl.

I laughed as he slipped back down, getting up, I slid over to the edge and let my legs dangle into it.

"I'm stuck," he looked up with a pitiful look, but I could see a playful sparkle in his eyes.

"Its your turn to rescue me."

"Oh really, how?" I grinned, tucking my feet in and then letting them slide back down the slippery surface.

He rolled his board up toward me and I caught the tip of it before it could slip from my grasp.

"How's that gonna help?"

"You'll see," he smirked and tried his luck in running up again. He grabbed the edge successfully but his grip was weakening as he struggled to pull himself up.

"I'll save you," I grabbed his arm and managed to get him halfway up before he started slipping again.

"Jai!" I screamed, laughing as I was pulled down with him.

"I gotcha," Beau grabbed me and pulled me up along with Jai.

"Your a bully," I pretended to pout at Jai.

"You know you love me," he grinned.

"Come here, I'll take you for a spin."

He dropped the board onto the flat concrete ground and smiled at me, holding out his hand.

I cautiously stepped onto the board and instantly grabbed Jai's hand as I started to wobble.

"Jai," i muttered, unsure of what I was doing.

"Your fine, all there is to it is balance," he started walking, I squealed at the sudden movement and tried to keep my balance as I swayed a little. I gripped Jai's hand and let the wheels roll along the path, gaining my balance and confidence.

Suddenly Luke and Beau sped past us, laughing. I lost my balance and toppled to the ground. Just as I was closing my eyes to meet the hard ground, I fell into something.

I opened my eyes a crack and saw Jai.

"Thats the second time I've saved your life in two days," he grinned.

"Well, how can I make up for it," I tapped a finger against my chin, entangling my fingers in his. It was like the gaps between my fingers were meant for him, they fitted perfectly.

"By being my girlfriend," he looked straight into my eyes.

"For real?" my mouth open. I wasn't expecting this.

"For real," he grinned.

I threw my arms around his neck, my heart pounding, the words repeating over and over in my head.

"This is what I have been dreaming my entire life, and its actually happening."

"Didn't you know dreams came true?" he whispered.

"Not ones with Jai Brooks involved," I giggled softly.

"So will you?"

"I would never say no."

I tilted my head to the right and pressed my lips against his warm ones. I could almost see sparks flying.

This is how it was going to end.
